2. Carleigh M.
About: Hi! I am a UCONN graduate from the school of Fine Arts currently working in Westchester, NY. I am an animal lover who has lived with pets my entire life. I have owned and/or cared for dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, fish, reptiles, rodents, chinchillas, and chickens. I offer pet sitting (over-night and daytime drop-ins), dog walking and pet care. I have a valid class D driver's license as well as my own vehicle so transportation is easy. I love animals of all ages and sizes and I have experience walking many large dogs! I would love to get to know and love your furry friends! I am currently working seasonally beginning in the fall so I am looking to help pet owners with vacations or other pet care needs during the summer! I cannot accomidate dogs in my home, as I have lots of animals myself, but in-home visits always available and I am happy to bring pups somewhere for walks if the neighborhood roads are unsafe/not ideal.
3. Emily C.
“Emily was great from the start. She requested a quick in-person meet with Shadow to get acquainted and to see the layout of the house, where the food, litter, etc are kept and this went a long way towards ensuring my family was comfortable with someone new taking care of our pet. She was so timely and thorough with her updates and sent along pictures daily which we really appreciated. We’ll be calling Emily again, you should do the same!”
4. Cameron G.
“Cameron was very helpful, I highly recommend her for your pets. Already booked her again!”
5. Marissa D.
“Marissa is very good. She takes care of our dog very well!”
6. Rebecca F.
“Rebecca was a lifesaver!!! She was able to drop in to feed and take out our dogs on a last minute request. She was very communicative and took great care of our pups.”
7. Denise M.
“Denise was great! Took care of my puppy as if she was her own! So friendly. Definitely wore my dog out, slept for 2 1/2 hours after she left. Thank you again!”
8. Brendan Y.
“Brendan is fantastic! He stepped up on relatively short notice and was great with our two dogs—including our one blind dog. Thank you Brendan, we will rebook soon!”
9. Corinne C.
“Corinne is a terrific dog walker! She is reliable, friendly, and always provides top quality care to my dog! I highly recommend her and trust her 100%. She will take the best care of your dog so that your mind is at ease while you’re away!”
10. Carmen R.
“Carmen was great with the pups! So thankful that she’s willing to take on a difficult case like my senior guy and spend time with him. She stayed the whole time and kept them company and I couldn’t be happier. Thank you!”
11. Laurie H.
“Laurie is an amazing sitter. Our pup and cats adored her. And, I we felt completely at ease while away with her regular communication and all of the pictures! It actually felt like so we were able to peer in on everyone and see what they were up to. Will definitely work w Laurie in the future!”
12. Joseph & Liz C.
“We have a Maltese named Luna. Luna is a spoil and very affectionate dog that wants to be with company all the time. When we all travel for family vacation, we only trust Yumiko to take care of Luna because with Yumiko Luna gets the love and care she needs to feel good while her family is not around, and we can leave confident knowing that Luna is getting a great care. When Luna sees Yumiko and her family, she gets really excited.”
13. Don L.
“Don cared for our very precious spoiled shih tsu that needed to be hand fed and required special attention. Don took the time, effort and excellent care playing with him, and being there for him. We considère Don part of the family now. Elizabeth”
14. Lakeisha D.
About: Since childhood, I’ve owned multiple dog breeds, cats, rabbits, and birds. I have experience in working with many different sized animals, many different breeds, and animals that can be more challenging. I’m currently working through a career change and am happy to help care for your pets! I volunteer in an animal assisted therapy program with very flexible hours, so I can be available on shorter notice. I will be caring for your animals in your home, walking them outside in your neighborhood, or at a local park if you’re comfortable. I’m currently unable to care for or board any other animals in my own home.
15. Melisa P.
About: HI! I’m Melisa, and I love animals of all kinds. I’ve taken care of dogs, cats, horses, birds, cows, rabbits, chickens… you name it. Between growing up with animals in the home since I was a child, volunteering for many (MANY) years at a few animal shelters during grade school and college, and the pet sitting I've done since moving to New York (in 2009), I have a lot of experience with animals of all temperaments, sizes, and ages. To echo the above, I am comfortable with any size/breed of dog, and have worked with senior animals as well. It would be my pleasure to help you with your dogs and cats, whether that is for a daytime walk, a drop-in, or overnight. I love playtime and snuggle time equally, and can provide whatever you and your pet require. Thank you for reading, and I hope to meet you and your pup! I work from home in Bedford Hills, NY. I go into the office every now and then, so am around most of the time! My extra curriculars happen around my dog walking and pet sitting schedule, so my schedule is flexible. I would like to be aware of your home's safety measures (please don't let me accidentally set off an alarm!) if they are present. Also, during the cold weather, I'd love to know if your dog needs a jacket or booties when going on a long walk.
16. Alexandra S.
“I was so happy with Alexandra! I knew my cat, Johnny, was in good hands and I will definitely book with her again in the future.”
17. Nicole F.
“Nicole picks up and hangs with my pup, Rhuby (1.5 yrs). She and her pup, Melanie, are sweethearts and accommodating with your busy schedule (human) and your hose obsession/ jumping habit (canine). You're in very caring hands with the both of them.”
18. Nicole K.
“Nicole is a wonderful caretaker for your pup! She is very playful and is always thinking of new creative ways to keep pups entertained. I've watched her take on training her high energy pup with success! I highly recommend Nicole to take care of your pets!”
19. Caitlin & Ryan H.
“The best!”
