About: I've had cats and dogs my whole life and know how to make animals feel comfortable and cared for. I offer dog walking and cat boarding from my home in Yorktown Heights. Guest cats stay in their own private room with fresh food, water, and a clean litter box. For dog walking I keep things low stress, consistent, and fun. I work from home regularly so I'm around often and take every pet's routine seriously. I treat every animal like my own. I work from home frequently which means pets in my care are never left alone for long stretches. For dog walking I'm flexible on timing and can work around your schedule for morning, afternoon, or evening walks. For cat boarding, guest cats get visits multiple times a day including morning feeding, a midday check-in, and an evening wind-down with fresh food, clean water, and a scooped litter box. Weekends I'm generally very available and weekdays I can accommodate most requests with a little advance notice. I genuinely enjoy spending time with and meeting new animals so this isn't a job to me, it's a passion. I have a dog and two cats of my own so I know firsthand what animals need to feel safe and comfortable. Guest cats are kept in their own private, dedicated room completely separate from my resident pets, giving them a quiet space to decompress and settle in at their own pace. For dog walking I keep things calm and consistent, always on leash, through the safe residential streets of Yorktown Heights or local parks where my dog frequents himself. I pay close attention to each animal's personality and adjust my approach accordingly. Whether a pet is social and energetic or shy and cautious, I make sure they feel comfortable and cared for. My home is peaceful, clean, and genuinely pet friendly.

About: I’ve taken care of my childhood dog from puppy to senior. I enjoyed training and grooming my puppy and making my senior dog a power bowl. I am a very active person - a hiker, marathoner, boxer, and cyclist, I can exhaust your furry babies however they want! And I particularly have a good sense of reading animal behavior, meaning if your dog needs a therapist, I am a very good listener;) I currently work flexible hours, so I have plenty of time to give your furry babies attention any time of the day. Boarding, walking and house sitting are all welcome weekdays or weekends. Boarding: I am in a 2bd condo with balcony without any pet in a quiet neighborhood. I am walking distance to a lot of trails (paved and non-paved) that your dog can take advantage of. Sitting: tell me your pet’s routine, I will be accountable!

About: I have been taking care of pets since I was a child! My love for animals has motivated me to enroll in vet tech school, starting this fall. I specialize in small mammals, such as rabbits and hamsters, and have owned my own. I have also cared for guinea pigs, parakeets, and aquariums. For dogs, I have experience working with both small and large breeds! I regularly look after my neighbor's dog, and love every opportunity I get to spend time with her. For cats, I have primarily done drop in visits, but have experience with administering medicine to shy cats by building trust over time. I currently do not own pets of my own, so I will be able to give your pet my full attention and care! I am currently spending my summer before starting vet tech school working part time, volunteering at local shelters, and shadowing at clinics. About: I have nearly four years of experience in a veterinary hospital as a kennel technician, where I care for dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, breeds, and medical needs. I am comfortable administering oral and topical medications, monitoring for signs of illness or stress, and handling a wide range of temperaments. Outside of work, I have grown up with dogs my entire life and currently have an 8 year old golden retriever of my own. I have cared for many age ranges from senior to a weeks old. I have also had other pets, including a rabbit, so I understand that every animal has unique needs and personalities. She communicated ahead of the visit to check in, sent awesome pictures with the dogs and took care of everything exactly how I specified. Our dogs have to stay separated right now and I was very anxious about that being managed in our tiny home but I did not need to be! We will definitely be hiring her again. Only downside is that she doesn’t do overnights!”

My current English bulldog, Stella, is half-blind and all crazy. She is a protector and lover of my two girls, who have known and grown up with animals their whole lives. About: Large dogs are my specialty, I enjoy walking and playing with them. I have plenty of room to play in the back yard or go for a long walk on a nature trail. I have experience in kenneling, potty training and leash training dogs. I work full time but have every afternoon and weekend available. I would enjoy walking a pet after work and am available to do overnight care. I have a pet friendly and private apartment with a large private back yard. I am very close to the black river trail which is excellent for dog walking.
