About: Our pets are a very special part of our families. They each have their own quirks and personalities, and they all bring so much love and joy to our lives. I will meet your pet’s needs, and spend time with them in the way they like the most. I have been a dog walker and pet care provider for 17 years now, and I still love my job! It’s all about the animals with me! I would love to come to your home and walk your dog in your neighborhood, or perhaps drive them to a close by favorite walking area. Some dogs have invisible fence collars, and need to be driven off the property, or they live on busy streets, that are not safe streets to walk on. I can drive them to a quiet side street or a park, if you prefer. You can request a feeding, if you would like, and I could do a quick scan of the house for any unexpected accidents, and clean them up for you. I can do drop-in visit (15 minutes), or a full 30 minute walk or play in the yard. More time can be requested, if necessary. For cat care, I can clean the litter boxes, feed your cat/refresh their water, and play or cuddle with them. I can also take a quick scan of the house for messes for them also.
About: I’ve cared for all kinds of dogs and cats: big or small. I’m super active and love hiking and walking. I own a lovely Cockapoo, a Siberian cat and have two kids. I’m reliable, communicative and responsible. I’ve been working from home and I’m up early to take my dog for a run and feed my Siberian. Early mornings and weekend requests are no problem. About: For the past three years, I’ve volunteered at a local animal shelter with my mother. I completed my senior internship there and now volunteer on my own. In my time at the shelter, I’ve gained lots of dog walking experience, especially with young puppies. I’m familiar with shelter training techniques and with cleaning and sanitation. I have two dogs of my own, one of which is a difficult walker. I know how most types of dog harnesses work. My internship involved spending time in the cat room, during which time I worked with cats of all temperaments. I don’t currently work in an official capacity and don’t play any sports, so I’m free pretty much all the time aside from my volunteer work. I’m going to college in September, so I’m not available for long term arrangements that go past summer. I’m used to animals with a wide range of play styles. About: I have had a dog since I was in the 5th grade and have helped raise it since. Within the past 2 years, I took her to college with me for a month each year and had the best time with her. My former college roommate also got a puppy sophomore year (I lived with her sophomore-senior year), so I have helped raise him, and also watch/take care of him when my roommate is busy. My neighbors have also relied on me to take care of their dog when they are away. I really want to get more professional experience in handling dogs more so I'm able to work at dog and animal shelters/places! I am currently attending graduate school in Fairfield, but will be living at home in Ridgefield for the duration of the program (2+ years). This semester (Fall 2026), my schedule is Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday 5:00-7:30 PM.Those are my only time constraints and am completely free otherwise!
