About: I grew up in a dog-centric household, however I have taken care of my own dogs for the past 19 years. For the last 8 years, I've had the opportunity to foster dogs through different organizations, as well. It has been an extremely rewarding and educational experience with regards to learning about a multitude of different dogs and how best to deal with different dog personalities and what their mannerisms indicate. The foster dogs that I cared for ranged from puppies to senior dogs and included numerous different breeds. I've had dogs that were incredibly easy, as well as ones that were particularly difficult and high maintenance. These experiences have made me open to taking care of all types of dogs; I'm happy to help administer medicine, eye drops, insulin injections, etc. I've experienced it all! My schedule is flexible because I'm currently based from my home. This basically means that I'm available to provide care in whatever capacity needed beginning from late morning until the evening and any day Whenever a dog is my responsibility I make a point of giving them the care and attention that they require. I'm available to walk any pup beginning from late morning into the evening, including multiple times a day. I currently live in a house with 3 acres and a huge back yard with forest surrounding it, so it is not fenced. However, I'm more than happy to walk your dog if there's a fear that they will run into the forest. I'm also open to dog-sitting for anyone going on vacation! Our house is set up to accommodate dogs visiting and staying due to my previous fostering, which is how I came to have my two current dogs. Also, I'm a firm believer in positive reinforcement to teach dogs acceptable behavior and manners, so no punishments that may traumatize or hurt the pup!

About: I have taken care of dogs and various other pets my whole adult life. I believe trust is the most important thing when it comes to leaving your pets with a sitter and I can assure you I will treat your pets like I would my own, with love and respect. Your dog will be staying in a family style boarding situation, where they get the love and attention from myself, my husband and our 2 children (7 and 10) who adore helping out with all the pups. We have a large fenced in back yard for lots of supervised running, playing and sniffing! I am trained in obedience training and can provide puppy socialization. Please reach out to me with any questions or to schedule a meeting! Boarding is always available. I am available weekdays after 8:30 am - 3:30 pm for walks, drop ins, puppy socialization or obedience training. I am fully available on the weekends for boarding, walking, drop-ins, puppy socialization and obedience training. I have 3 extremely friendly small dogs for your fur baby to play with or relax with. I strive to make the dogs that stay here comfortable and as stress free as possible.

About: We have been offline from Rover, taking repeat customers, and personal referrals, which was keeping us very busy! Since dogs bring so much joy to life, I am dedicating more time to open bookings to new pets. I am a dog lover for a lifetime. As a kid, I would care for strays. As an adult, I have had a dog in my life for the past 30 years- I have adopted 3 full grown, mature labs from various shelters and they all had a great, long life! My current Lab Lulu, is our sitting “mascot” and she welcomes all dogs to our homestay center. She was an adoptee from an elderly couple. My young adult son & dog-lover will be a great co-host to care for and play with your pet. Pets are like family here and they will be loved, cared for and respected. We will give play, attention, exercise, love and create a setting where your pet feels comfortable and not stressed. We should do a meet and greet with our dogs prior to first boarding. The yard here is fully fenced, but I only let dogs out in the yard with supervision. I will give walks/hikes, as you like. Your dog can sleep and hang-out in whatever area of the house is comfortable to him or her. If they prefer a crate, we can. If they prefer their own room, they can have my lower level finished room. If they like to mix it up with the family they can. We cater to your dog and help to diminish their stress and let them be themselves. If the pup is stressed and needs extra attention at night, they can sleep in the bedroom, ( sometimes on the bed, only if you allow that) . I have cared for multiple senior and special needs dogs, providing medication, and special care routines. We look forward to getting to know your loving pet and offering them a home away from home! Pet Care is a dominant share of our daily lives. Someone is here most of the day, so lots of interaction and attention is provided. If we run out , here or there ( as you would at home) each dog get’s their own space to hang-out. Dogs visiting from different families are only together, when supervised. My Home-Away-Vacay-Stay has a fully fenced yard with plenty of toys. Run of the house and cuddles with our family make your pup feel at home.

About: I grew up with dogs in the house and have always enjoyed playing with them. There was once that my dog had puppies and I remember seeing her giving birth and my parents caring for them. Today, I can’t have a dog in the house, so I enjoy caring for people’s dogs. My schedule varies so I’m available part-time some week days (Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday) and some weekends. I have older kids who also love animals and may tag along with me when they’re available. At home I don’t have pets of my own except for fish, so your dog will have full attention. I can also crate your dog if needed and if you’d like that, otherwise I’m comfortable letting it roam.

“We’ve been using John for weekly daycare and occasional boarding for our 3-year-old Vizsla for the past year and a half, and he’s truly the best!! He’s incredibly experienced and does a fantastic job managing the “pack” each day, making sure all the pups get along so everyone stays safe and happy. The dogs get plenty of playtime balanced with rest and cuddles, which we really appreciate. John is also super accommodating with feeding schedules, special instructions, and anything else your dog might need. On top of that, he’s always responsive and flexible with our schedules and messages. About: Dogs are kind of my daily coworkers. I spend my days around animals of all types and personalities, so caring for pets feels second nature to me. I have hands-on experience with dogs of all sizes and ages, from bouncy puppies who want to play nonstop to seniors who prefer a slower pace and extra TLC. Long walks, playtime, and one-on-one attention are my favorite parts of the job, and since I work from home, your dog will never be left alone or bored. I’m great at reading animal cues, keeping routines consistent, and making pets feel comfortable, safe, and loved, basically treating them like my own. Important to note that during house sitting in the pet owner’s home, my dogs stay at home with my fiance (unless they are requested by owners for a play date) so I can still watch your pup if they’re better while not around other dogs! I work from home and I have two acres of property - your pet will not not be alone and can play with my two dogs! I care for pets by treating them like part of the household, whether they’re in my home or theirs. I stick closely to their normal routines, feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and downtime, so they feel comfortable and secure. I make sure dogs get plenty of exercise, enrichment, and attention through walks, play sessions, and lots of interaction throughout the day. Since I work from home, pets are rarely alone and always supervised. I’m attentive to individual needs, whether that’s extra play for high-energy dogs, gentle care for seniors, or patience and consistency for puppies. I also keep pet parents updated with messages and photos so they always know their pet is happy, safe, and having a great time.
