About: Dogs are kind of my daily coworkers. I spend my days around animals of all types and personalities, so caring for pets feels second nature to me. I have hands-on experience with dogs of all sizes and ages—from bouncy puppies who want to play nonstop to seniors who prefer a slower pace and extra TLC. Long walks, playtime, and one-on-one attention are my favorite parts of the job, and since I work from home, your dog will never be left alone or bored. I’m great at reading animal cues, keeping routines consistent, and making pets feel comfortable, safe, and loved, basically treating them like my own. I work from home and I have two acres of property - your pet will not not be alone and can play with my two dogs! I care for pets by treating them like part of the household, whether they’re in my home or theirs. I stick closely to their normal routines—feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and downtime—so they feel comfortable and secure. I make sure dogs get plenty of exercise, enrichment, and attention through walks, play sessions, and lots of interaction throughout the day. Since I work from home, pets are rarely alone and always supervised. I’m attentive to individual needs, whether that’s extra play for high-energy dogs, gentle care for seniors, or patience and consistency for puppies. I also keep pet parents updated with messages and photos so they always know their pet is happy, safe, and having a great time.

We know a bunch of herbs and essential oils that can help your cats and dogs when needed. On the weekdays we can do anytime after 3:00pm. On the weekends we can do anytime between 11:00am - 6:00pm. Or anytime you need us to come on the weekends I have a fenced in yard if I need to take out my dogs . I also have 7 cats at home that are very friendly and cuddly
About: I grew up with a family cat, and have had my own cat the last three years. I’ve also spent extended stays at family’s houses helping care for dogs, cats, and a parrot. I love learning and paying attention to the unique ways animals communicate their needs and wants. Friends and family can attest that I can “read” my cat like a book, and have even taught him tricks such as sit, shake, and roll over. The key for me is establishing trust with the animal. With trust and reinforcement, I have been able to brush, trim nails, and bathe pets that even their owners struggled to manage. I’m currently unemployed looking for my next opportunity, so I’ll have plenty of flexibility to meet your pets needs. I’m available for weekday and weekend visits, any time of day - including in the early morning. With my close attention to detail, I will notice and notify you about any changes in behavior, and be sure to address any environmental hazards. Having had multiple cats over the years, I know all about pets rushing doors, or opening them in my cat’s case, and affinities for cables and small items finding their way into pet’s mouths. I keep all of these in mind when entering a new space, including my own, as I have moved several times with pets as a college student. And I understand how difficult it can be leaving your fur baby with someone new, which is why I value open communication about visits and behaviors, and pictures!

“Violeta took excellent care of our 2 cats. They seemed very calm when we got home - evidence of being played with and feeling secure. There was a Hurricane warning and she made sure they had extra food in case of any disruption. I will definitely rebook in the future!!”

“Lanie saved us at the last minute when our usual sitter wasn’t available. She went above and beyond to communicate updates, accommodate special requests, and more. Thank you for the excellent care, Lanie!”

About: I am 30 years old and would love to be your choice to help you take care of your babies! I am an engineer at Entegris and work on site Mon - Fri, 6am - 3:30pm. My hours of availability are 4:30pm - 9:30pm during the work week. I am also available for walking and check-ins on weekends from 8am to 10pm (Saturday & Sunday). I have 2 kids who are 4.5 years and 7 months old respectively, i pick them up from daycare around 4 and then spend the afternoon with my boys. My pup (Sophie) is 7.5 years old and is a beagle/pit mix. I would love to spend some time with your furry family member while you are not able to! I currently work full time and would be able to come play with your pup any time after 4! Unfortunately house sitting will be rather difficult at this time. We have a fenced back yard and live in a quiet neighborhood in Ridgefield. At clients homes I am always respectful of house rules and make sure to follow the guidelines.
“Emily is a reliable and thoughtful cat sitter. She was great with my difficult kitty and problem-solved a tricky situation with a malfunctioning door lock. Great communication. I would definitely seek her out again.”

About: We have been offline from Rover, taking repeat customers, and personal referrals, which was keeping us very busy! Since dogs bring so much joy to life, I am dedicating more time to open bookings to new pets. I am a dog lover for a lifetime. As a kid, I would care for strays. As an adult, I have had a dog in my life for the past 30 years- I have adopted 3 full grown, mature labs from various shelters and they all had a great, long life! My current Lab Lulu, is our sitting “mascot” and she welcomes all dogs to our homestay center. She was an adoptee from an elderly couple. My young adult son & dog-lover will be a great co-host to care for and play with your pet. Pets are like family here and they will be loved, cared for and respected. We will give play, attention, exercise, love and create a setting where your pet feels comfortable and not stressed. We should do a meet and greet with our dogs prior to first boarding. The yard here is fully fenced, but I only let dogs out in the yard with supervision. I will give walks/hikes, as you like. Your dog can sleep and hang-out in whatever area of the house is comfortable to him or her. If they prefer a crate, we can. If they prefer their own room, they can have my lower level finished room. If they like to mix it up with the family they can. We cater to your dog and help to diminish their stress and let them be themselves. If the pup is stressed and needs extra attention at night, they can sleep in the bedroom, ( sometimes on the bed, only if you allow that) . I have cared for multiple senior and special needs dogs, providing medication, and special care routines. We look forward to getting to know your loving pet and offering them a home away from home! I have posted a few pictures. Max resting with his new BFF and a Dog Vacay client Duke!! Also some regulars of our Pet loving care Riley, Bella and Tex, Rosie.. Pet Care is a dominant share of our daily lives. Someone is here most of the day, so lots of interaction and attention is provided. If we run out , here or there ( as you would at home) each dog get’s their own space to hang-out. Dogs visiting from different families are only together, when supervised. My Home-Away-Vacay-Stay has a fully fenced yard with plenty of toys. Run of the house and cuddles with our family make your pup feel at home.
“Lorre & Antonio are superstars! They were so great with our cats and so thorough. Very communicative and sent so many drop-in pictures 2x daily. They were able to administer insulin injections to my diabetic cat which is a huge plus. They really kept on top of everything and the apartment was just how we left it (our Vicky is a messy eater who hairballs). They took the time to play and brush Louis & Victoria as well. I very highly recommend Lorre & Antonio. We will be booking them again for our future trips. Thanks so much again!”

“We feel very fortunate to have found Kimberly to look after our daughter’s cat while we were away visiting family during Christmas week. Kimberly did a drop in visit at our house each day, and sent daily pics to our daughter - which she really appreciated. The cat got to stay at home, we had daily contact and peace of mind, and at a much lower cost than a kennel or cat hotel. A real win-win. Thanks so much, Kimberly !”

“Greeshma was wonderful! We got thorough reports with photos of the cats while we were away, which made us feel so much better about being out of town. We felt very confident about Greeshma’s care and would absolutely ask her to watch our cats again in the future. Highly recommend!”

“Noelle was wonderful! Caring, professional, trustworthy, great communicator and provided us with daily photos and updates. Will definitely use Noelle again and can recommend her 100%.”

About: I have grown up around animals. For 18 years I have had German Shepherd dogs all of which have been rescues and some with special needs such as trauma. Both my parents have worked with animal rescue shelters. I have knowledge of how to walk dogs and in the last have had to give animals medication. I am a professional dancer in a company that is based in White Plains. I am able to work with animals including pet sitting on Mondays and Wednesdays as well as the weekends I am committed to loving all animals, enjoy playing with them, cuddling and spending time outside walking dogs. I am very responsible especially when it comes to animals as I have grown up caring for them.
“Deniz did an amazing job taking care of my dog (in his home) and my cats (in my house) and my plants. He’s lovely and I’d happily recommend him. He’s also: Reliable, detail oriented, takes initiative, follows instructions, communicative, respectful, responsible. I was able to relax knowing everything was taken care of while I was away for almost a month.”

About: I have years of experience with dogs and cats, as well as other exotic pets and have kept aquariums for a very long time, and also keep a vegetable garden and chickens at home! If you love animals as much as I do, with a side of homesteading/gardening, and more, I know how hard it can be to find and leave home with one trusted sitter. I currently work from home and have a lot of flexibility in terms of daily frequent care. I have two young kids and my own animals, but I have my husband and my mother that can take care of things while I go out and work, especially within my home town of Ridgefield. I don't offer boarding for first time clients until I get to know the dog, as I have 6 cats at home and a 5 year old son, but I do boarding for many friends. I have had many experiences with feeding and care. I clean the litter box twice a day to keep things sanitary and clean and am a firm believer in sticking to diets that the animal is used to. In my experience, offering too many diverse kinds of treats can cause internal digestive issues, as animals have different needs and sensitivities just like us. I do make a lot of my own pet food and pet medicine, and will introduce those treats carefully with my animals and with permission, to your animals as well, but my philosophy is to remain loyal to the pets and their owners preferences unless given permission to introduce new treats....and of course, my quest to live in a clean house with multiple well behaved animals and kids applies for all of my clients spaces as well!
“We hired Alex to care for our two cats and to housesit while we were away for a week. Alex took great care of our cats and sent updates with pictures every day. She was very professional and responsive to any texts we sent. She kept our house in great conditon and even washed the towels she used while she was here. I highly recommend her to anyone who needs petsitting or housesitting.”

“I had an excellent experience with Cam, who took care of my 2 cats and 2 bunnies while I went on a brief vacation. Cam is reliable and attentive and updated me after each visit with notes and pictures. My pets were happy and relaxed when I returned and my house was spotless. I would definitely rebook with Cam!”
