Overall Safety Precautions: From my rescue experience, animals are curious!- In this, I ensure all doors, gates, and deadbolts are latched securely during every entry and exit, double-check that food and medications are sealed out of reach, as well as keeping a watchful eye out for subtle changes in pet health or behavior. Home Maintenance/Overall Peace of Mind: During house sits and drop-ins, I am happy to bring in mail, water plants, keep your living spaces spotless, or help with any other tasks.

About: I have been taking care of dogs since we brought one into our home 3 years ago. It's important to me that a pet feels safe and cared for while their owner is away. I'm currently a stay at home mom with school aged children so I have plenty of time to make visits to see your cat or dog. It's important to me that I follow all instructions and guidelines for feeding, play time, potty etc. I make sure to clean up after myself and leave your home the way it was when I entered.

About: I enjoy walking a lot, hiking, being very active in general I take caring for animals. I am Olivia, I am 27 and just moved to Connecticut from NY with my husband. I have done animal care for years. I have a cat of my own who is 15, he is an odd ball, very skittish and has help me gain an understanding of how to care for cats. During my cat sitting visits, I will first say the cat's name/names and see if they seem interested in interacting with me. I will ignore them if they seem shy or until they decide they would like to interact with me. I will feed them, clean the litter and whatever else is asked of me for housesitting or care. I have extensive childcare experience with plenty of references upon request, to show my ability to care for people as well as animals. I am looking for this as part time employment as I nanny 3 days a week, so I will be free to provide the best possible care. I recently came back from being a nanny in The Netherlands for 2 years. In regards to my own pets, I keep a consistent feeding and walking schedule, for their sake and so I get used to stay consistent in keeping my dog healthy with plenty of walks and hiking. I like to greet my animals early with cuddles and pets, mid to late day I and my cat will sometimes play with a feather toy or laser. My dog like to dance with me and play tug of war or just run together in the field by the end of my road. In regards to your animals, I make sure to follow the instructions carefully and pay great attention to details. If in your home, I will always make sure to take off my shoes, not make any messes, respect your personal things, and treat your sweet babies as if they were my own! I go to college locally so I’m very flexible with hours and i’m available to message at anytime. I’m comfortable driving to any town in Fairfield county as well. I have a 4 acre yard that’s partially fenced in. I have multiple leaches and harnesses of various sizes. I have two young dogs of my own who are very friendly. I have dog toys and other supplies as well.
