About: I’ve had animals since I was a little kid. Chickens, dogs, cats, bunnies, chinchillas…you name it! I love animals and can’t wait to care of some of yours! I just graduated from Hamilton College and home for the summer before I start work. I have all the time in the world and would love to spend it with some furry friends! About: Hi all! I just recently graduated from Bates college and am looking to pet sit! I’ve been taking care of family dogs and cats my whole life, but started pet sitting for others when I was 13. I am looking to go back to school in the future to get my doctorate in physical therapy, but in the meantime I’ll be home all summer and throughout the upcoming school year! I currently am working part time as a lifeguard while I am home for the summer but my schedule varies each week so there are no specific days off limits! I am free on both weekdays and weekends, I just ask that you contact me in advance! I can stay in your home to pet sit, or I can make frequent stops to feed them, play with them, and take them out to use the bathroom! I am available for one day gigs or for long term!

Your dog can sleep and hang-out in whatever area of the house is comfortable to him or her. If they prefer a crate, we can. If they prefer their own room, they can have my lower level finished room. If they like to mix it up with the family they can. We cater to your dog and help to diminish their stress and let them be themselves. If the pup is stressed and needs extra attention at night, they can sleep in the bedroom, ( sometimes on the bed, only if you allow that) . I have cared for multiple senior and special needs dogs, providing medication, and special care routines. We look forward to getting to know your loving pet and offering them a home away from home! Pet Care is a dominant share of our daily lives. Someone is here most of the day, so lots of interaction and attention is provided. About: I grew up in a dog-centric household, however I have taken care of my own dogs for the past 19 years. For the last 8 years, I've had the opportunity to foster dogs through different organizations, as well. It has been an extremely rewarding and educational experience with regards to learning about a multitude of different dogs and how best to deal with different dog personalities and what their mannerisms indicate. The foster dogs that I cared for ranged from puppies to senior dogs and included numerous different breeds. I've had dogs that were incredibly easy, as well as ones that were particularly difficult and high maintenance. These experiences have made me open to taking care of all types of dogs; I'm happy to help administer medicine, eye drops, insulin injections, etc. I've experienced it all! My schedule is flexible because I'm currently based from my home. This basically means that I'm available to provide care in whatever capacity needed beginning from late morning until the evening and any day Whenever a dog is my responsibility I make a point of giving them the care and attention that they require. I'm available to walk any pup beginning from late morning into the evening, including multiple times a day. I currently live in a house with 3 acres and a huge back yard with forest surrounding it, so it is not fenced. However, I'm more than happy to walk your dog if there's a fear that they will run into the forest. I'm also open to dog-sitting for anyone going on vacation! Our house is set up to accommodate dogs visiting and staying due to my previous fostering, which is how I came to have my two current dogs. Also, I'm a firm believer in positive reinforcement to teach dogs acceptable behavior and manners, so no punishments that may traumatize or hurt the pup!

About: I’ve been taking care of pets since I was 11 (various animals, and breeds)! I’ve grown up with dogs and I’ve always had multiple in my home. I have experience taking care of guinea pigs, cats, dogs, fish, but specifically puppies, and senior dogs. I am a college student that’s working part-time over the summer. However, my day-to-day schedule is extremely flexible and I am at home for a majority of my workday. I have a large backyard that is fenced in, and a very mellow old lab who can either keep your pet company or be crated if needed!

About: I have had a dog since I was in the 5th grade and have helped raise it since. Within the past 2 years, I took her to college with me for a month each year and had the best time with her. My former college roommate also got a puppy sophomore year (I lived with her sophomore-senior year), so I have helped raise him, and also watch/take care of him when my roommate is busy. My neighbors have also relied on me to take care of their dog when they are away. I really want to get more professional experience in handling dogs more so I'm able to work at dog and animal shelters/places! Currently, I’m completely available in the summer! I begin graduate school in September, but have no time constraints in the meanwhile, asides from when I’m away. In my home, I treat my pet like she's my child/baby and make sure that all of her needs are met always. About: I've grown up with a variety of animals my whole life, including dogs, cats, and farm animals. Although I have little experience with pet sitting, I'm very comfortable with all kinds of dogs and cats. I'm currently working 2 part-time jobs as a barista, however I'm super flexible as my work schedule changes from week to week. Besides that I like to go to the gym and spend time with my chickens as much as I can. Around that I still have plenty of free time to start pet sitting. I love spending time and playing with pets, so a lot of what I would do is keep your pet company and engage with them as much as I can. With dogs I would play fetch outside if possible and with cats I would run them around with whatever toys they have. As well as, making sure the animals have enough food / water and keeping their home as clean as possible.
About: I have taken care of a wide variety of dogs ranging from English, American labs, white labs, and French bulldogs. I have walked these breeds typically spanning an hour, picked up their waste, and provided food and water. About: For the past three years, I’ve volunteered at a local animal shelter with my mother. I completed my senior internship there and now volunteer on my own. In my time at the shelter, I’ve gained lots of dog walking experience, especially with young puppies. I’m familiar with shelter training techniques and with cleaning and sanitation. I have two dogs of my own, one of which is a difficult walker. I know how most types of dog harnesses work. My internship involved spending time in the cat room, during which time I worked with cats of all temperaments. I don’t currently work in an official capacity and don’t play any sports, so I’m free pretty much all the time aside from my volunteer work. I’m going to college in September, so I’m not available for long term arrangements that go past summer. I’m used to animals with a wide range of play styles. I have a dog that loves to play fetch and go for swims, and I live near a large trail system, so I’m most familiar with those forms of enrichment. I have a minivan and can drive dogs to dog parks, trails, and fields.

“I was so fortunate to have found Anastasiia to watch our dog Axel when we traveled to Europe. We had booked a sitter who cancelled - leaving us with very little time to find another over the holiday season. We had Anastasiia was reasonably priced compared to some of the other sitters available (watch out for price gouging during the holidays). I had booked someone who was less expensive but when we did the meet and great, I saw that they were using Rover to run a kennel: 10 dogs kept in an 8x6 garage - with no one home! I took a chance on Anastasiia because she is new to Rover. When I met her in her home, I could tell right away that Axel would be in good hands! The home is charming and so was Anastasiia's partner :-). During Axel's stay he got to go to the park and play and even got to go on a hike. Anastasiia asked me if it was ok to take him and how he was in the car. The pictures of their adventure made me smile :-). I was sent lots of pictures during Axel's stay - most either playing or lounging lol Axel was in good spirits when we picked him up. I felt comfortable and confident that my family member was being given good care while we were overseas. I highly recommend.”
“I left my dog, Rory with John for a week while on vacation. He showed his interest and care for the dogs in his many daily walks and play time. A video showing all the dogs playing was sent to us at the end of each day. John talked to the dogs and called them each by name, and they all seemed happy and relaxed. The dogs he accepts are not aggressive and are very social. I was able to relax and enjoy my vacation feeling confident that my puppy was being well cared for. My dog came home from a week at John’s both happy and tired.
