“Pam was great. She posted a lot of pictures to let us know Luna was having fun and communicated daily. You could tell she had a lot of experience with dogs and with petting sitting/boarding. We would definitely use Pam again for the next time we go out of town.”
“Katie had the best, most nurturing and relaxing experience! When I picked Katie up I could tell she felt secure. Katie can have separation anxiety but she was handled perfectly (walks, pets, a nap). I received lots of pictures and texts so I was comfortable too.”

“Kathryn is probably the best Rover sitter we’ve had (and we’ve used some lovely sitters). Our dogs are anxious when they’re left, and Kathryn really helped them feel at ease - her fenced yard was perfect and they just seemed to trust her. I’d highly recommend booking your pet’s stay with her!”

“Let me tell you, ANNER was so wonderful with my furbaby, Denim!! He was patient at the first meeting since my pup needed to get acquainted first. Denim got comfy and from the video and pics sent to me, my pup was a happy camper🥰🐶Anner will be our sitter from this point on. I recommend him highly🥰”

“Andrea sent us great updates throughout an almost three week stay. August was well cared for and spoiled well while we were away. We will leave him with her again in the future if she is available!”

“Ryan EXCEEDED my expectations! He has an intuitive way with dogs. He is very knowledgable about dogs & dog behavior. Ryan is the real deal-- a true animal lover & kind, decent human being. He communicated well with pics and updates during my dog's visit. During our initial meeting I felt an instant rapport he had with my dog that put me at ease. His home is VERY dog-centric! The visiting dogs are not confined and are free to mingle and find their own place to relax. There are ample dog beds, couches, human beds and floor space for lounging and sleeping. I especially appreciate that Ryan limits the number of dogs he boards at one time to a very small group, & makes sure they vibe well together beforehand. The living space Ryan and his boarders occupy is all on one level, which is great for my dog with arthritis. There is a wooded trail for walks adjoining the yard, and a guest bedroom if a dog needs some quiet alone time. I would HIGHLY recommend Ryan and I plan to use him again!”

“We love, love, love Lily and her whole family, including Speedy. Our dog Flynn is so happy they’re running and playing and feeling like he’s at his home away from home. We can’t recommend Lily enough!”

“Laura, Carolina & Enrique were great! I needed a sitter last minute and reached out to them. Luckily they were available. They responded fast, took good care of my pups and they had such a great time they were super tired after I picked them up. Will definitely book again. Thank you!!”

“Great experience from beginning to end. It was our first time leaving Gigi with a sitter. Dew kept us updated and sent photos, which was a great comfort to us. Will definitely use her again.”

“Robin is a lovely person who took excellent care of our dog. She kept us updated on everything and I could tell our dog was comfortable and relaxed when we returned. We will definitely be booking with Robin again!”

“Saori has been so patient and caring with our Pomsky puppy. Since we work from home, I was concerned he wasn’t socializing enough and of course he has lots of energy. Daycare with Saori will be a big help in our journey together. We got really lucky finding her right from the start.”

“Valerie was great as always. She treats Oliver like her own. He came back happy and tired. She was able to accommodate us when we needed to pick up Oliver a day later due to car trouble. All around, a great experience.”

“Christina is truly the best! When my trip was approaching and my original sitter canceled unexpectedly, she stepped in without hesitation and took care of my dog, Lucas, on very short notice, showing incredible understanding and flexibility. She kept me updated daily with pictures and videos, making me feel at ease even from afar. Christina treated Lucas like family, allowing him to sleep close to her and ensuring he was well cared for. Her kindness, dedication, and genuine love for animals make her absolutely amazing, and I couldn’t be more grateful for her help!”

“Hazard took amazing care of my two cats. She sent daily photos and videos and even cute report cards. You can tell the cats were well cared for because they did not appear scared or anxious, she even had a whole room full of toys and scratches for them to feel at home.”

“Nicole is absolutely the best! Not only is she warm, welcoming, and very accommodating, her veterinary experience and obvious love of dogs assures us that Bluebelle is in the very best hands. Her daily updates and pictures keep us posted on the great time Blue is having with Nicole and her family in their very dog-friendly home and backyard. The best endorsement of all, though, is Blue's excitement and crazy tail-wagging when we mention Nicole's name! Five stars doesn't begin to say enough!!”

“Our dog had a great time with Farva! She has a wonderful fenced backyard so our dog could play with other dogs. She sent us updates throughout the stay, and was very kind and responsive.”

“Hi Rachael, I just wanted to say thank you so much for watching April. It meant the world to me to see the photos of the hikes and know she was in such good hands. It’s clear she had a wonderful time and was well loved while I was away. We’ll definitely be reaching out next time we need a sitter. Thank you so much!”

“Catherine was wonderful with Josie, she attended to every one of her needs and treated her like the true diva that she is! She gave her her drops, her eye drops three times a day on schedule, sent me pictures and videos. I was hoping Josie would a still wanna come home with me and not stay with Catherine.!!!Sue w.”

“We appreciated Kyle’s flexibility and patience with our pup, she is not accustomed to being away from us. The updates and photos were great, it was comforting to know she was doing well while we were away.”

“Mia is lovely and personable. She has much experience with cats, dogs, raising chickens, etc.! She dropped in to feed and play with our cat, Seamus. He was relaxed when we returned home from our trip. Mia left Seamus's accoutrement clean and very organized! We've already booked her for another drop-in week this summer. :)”

“John did a great job taking care of our pets. He was responsive, easy to talk to and genuinely cared for our crew of 2 cats and an energetic dog. We will utilize his services again soon.”

“Cam is attentive, proactive, and thorough. Our booking occurred during the blizzard, He stayed in constant contact and came to our rescue when we were stranded overseas. Cam is a gem. We will happily book with Cam in the future.”

I really want to get more professional experience in handling dogs more so I'm able to work at dog and animal shelters/places! Currently, I’m completely available in the summer! “Madalys was amazing with our cat. She was quick to respond and arranged a meeting with us before booking. We could tell she really payed attention to what we asked of her. She even took notes to be sure. She was very patient with our cat and didn’t pressure her to open up which I really appreciate!”

“Was great to have such a lovely caretaker take care of my kitty while I had to travel. Came out before the scheduled time to meet my cat and the reliable communication was great peace of mind! Would recommend and will absolutely use again.”

About: Hi all! I just recently graduated from Bates college and am looking to pet sit! I’ve been taking care of family dogs and cats my whole life, but started pet sitting for others when I was 13. I am free on both weekdays and weekends, I just ask that you contact me in advance! I can stay in your home to pet sit, or I can make frequent stops to feed them, play with them, and take them out to use the bathroom! I am available for one day gigs or for long term!

Whether your dog needs regular medication or just a bit more attention, we’re fully prepared to provide the care and love they deserve. Since we both work from home, your dog will always have company and plenty of opportunities for walks, play, and affection. We only board one dog at a time to make sure your furry friend receives our full attention. In addition to boarding, we also offer doggy day care. We believe in building trust with both you and your dog, so we like to meet new clients in advance. This gives us a chance to get to know you and your dog, and for you to see where your dog will be staying, so you can feel completely at ease while they’re with us. We can’t wait to welcome your dog into our home and provide them with a fun, caring, and comfortable stay! Nothing makes us happier than seeing one of our guests excited to come for another visit. My husband and I work from home. I am an accountant and my husband is in the creative arts. We love having an excuse to step away from our desks, go outside and spend some time with our canine guests. We have a friendly old King Charles Spaniel that Can keep your dog company and we live on a beautiful secluded circle with almost no traffic for long safe walks.
“My dog, Luna, had a great day at Kyle’s. He’s got a great setup for pups to play inside and out, and he clearly understands dogs well and is able to give them great care. Luna is very nervous around new people, and Kyle was able to attend to her needs and made sure she was comfortable during her stay. Will definitely be back.”

About: Hi, my name is Ryan, and I’ve spent a lot of time fostering abandoned dogs. Through that experience, I’ve worked closely with dogs of all kinds, including those with behavioral challenges, helping them build the confidence and skills they need to thrive in loving forever homes. It’s been an incredibly rewarding journey, filled with meaningful connections and plenty of bittersweet goodbyes along the way. Although I’ve decided to take a step back from fostering, I realized just how much joy dogs bring to my everyday life. I’m excited to continue working with dogs by offering caring, reliable dog daycare and boarding services, while putting the experience and skills I’ve developed to good use. I'm at home full time and I'm able to watch your pups all day long! Multiple walks, a trip to the dog park and playtime at home every single day! My approach emphasizes patience, structure, and positive reinforcement to ensure each dog receives attentive, individualized care in a safe and supportive environment with a limited amount of dogs at a time. Dogs are welcome on all furniture and beds, so they can relax wherever they feel most comfortable. If your dog prefers their crate, you're welcome to bring it along, but they're free to make themselves at home anywhere in the house.
About: Our business has been booming with referrals and friends/family requests. Since dogs bring so much joy to life, I am dedicating more time to open bookings to new pets. I am a dog lover for a lifetime. As a kid, I would care for strays. As an adult, I have had a dog in my life for the past 30 years- I have adopted 3 full grown, mature labs from various shelters and they all had a great, long life! My current Lab is our sitting “mascot” and she welcomes all dogs to our homestay center. She was an adoptee from an elderly couple. My young adult son & dog-lover is a great co-host to care for and play with your pet. Pets are like family here and they will be loved, cared for and respected. We will give play, attention, exercise, love and create a setting where your pet feels comfortable and not stressed. We should do a meet and greet with our dogs prior to first boarding. The yard here is fully fenced, but I only let dogs out in the yard with supervision. I will give walks/hikes, as you like. Your dog can sleep and hang-out in whatever area of the house is comfortable to him or her. If they prefer a crate, we can. If they prefer their own room, they can have my lower level finished room. If they like to mix it up with the family they can. We cater to your dog and help to diminish their stress and let them be themselves. If the pup is stressed and needs extra attention at night, they can sleep in the bedroom, ( sometimes on the bed, only if you allow that) . I have cared for multiple senior and special needs dogs, providing medication, and special care routines. We look forward to getting to know your loving pet and offering them a home away from home! Pet Care is a dominant share of our daily lives. Someone is here most of the day, so lots of interaction and attention is provided. If we run out , here or there ( as you would at home) each dog get’s their own space to hang-out. Dogs visiting from different families are only together, when supervised. My Home-Away-Vacay-Stay has a fully fenced yard with plenty of toys. Run of the house and cuddles with our family make your pup feel at home.
“Elaine was very accommodating when we had to change our drop off time to earlier. Magnus came home exhausted so we think he must have played all day! We would feel comfortable bringing him to Elaine again. Thank you.”

“Val ( and family ) were absolutely amazing! We needed a last-minute booking for our dog, and she went above and beyond to accommodate us. Throughout the week, she sent lots of photos and videos, keeping us updated and reassured that our pup was happy and well cared for. It was clear she treated our dog like family, and we could tell how much love and attention she gave. We came home to a healthy, happy dog, and we’re so grateful for her exceptional care. Highly recommended, and we will absolutely use her again in the future!”

“Erin was amazing! Communication was top notch and we got so many pupdates throughout the day of our boy having a blast. We are new to the area and it brings us so much peace of mind to know our guy will be loved and well taken care of when we are out of town. I would 100% recommend Erin to anyone looking for a kind, knowledgeable, and trusted person to take care of their dog. We will be booking with Erin again in the future. Thank you so much again!”

About: I’ve taken care of so many dogs and cats over the years, at the vets office as a technician, in peoples homes and at my own house. I am comfortable administering medication and will care for your pet as my own ! I love animals and am passionate about caring for them . I have a flexible schedule so I can fit pet care into my routine. I am happy to do home visits multiple times a day. I have one very sweet little cavalier who gets along with other animals. I am also happy to come to your house as many times per day as needed.
About: I’ve been taking care of pets since I was 11 (various animals, and breeds)! I’ve grown up with dogs and I’ve always had multiple in my home. I have experience taking care of guinea pigs, cats, dogs, fish, but specifically puppies, and senior dogs. I am a college student that’s working part-time over the summer. However, my day-to-day schedule is extremely flexible and I am at home for a majority of my workday. I have a large backyard that is fenced in, and a very mellow old lab who can either keep your pet company or be crated if needed!
“Dew goes above and beyond for my puppy. Checks in regularly when he is in her care and even checks in when he is at home. As a first time user of a dog-sitter, I was anxious about leaving my puppy in someone else’s care. Dew almost immediately alleviated my concerns. I feel like her care has been a major benefit for me and for my puppy’s social development. Will continue to take advantage of Dew’s services for the foreseeable future. Highly recommended!”

“Lily is down to earth and I felt comfortable leaving my pups with her for the day. Her property is also nice for my pups to roam outside. I received photos and videos periodically throughout the day with updates on how my babies were doing. I will definitely book again!”

“Luke was great with Ayden and Zeus, Ayden usually takes a little bit to warm up, but came back adoring him!! I rebooked him to watch them for another day! Very highly recommend and I will definetly rebook him when I am back in town.”

“Gwynne is the best dog sitter we’ve ever had!!! We tried other rover sitters but no one is as dedicated, responsive and caring as her. My dogs Bubble and Molly got two long walks in the scenic neighborhood, rolling time in the beautiful yard (safely leashed!!), cuddling time with mini humans. The dogs and the kids cannot be more adorable. Bubble and Molly couldn’t be any happier! They fell asleep five minutes after we picked them up. I highly recommend Gwynne as a wonderful dog sitter.”

About: I grew up with dogs in the house and have always enjoyed playing with them. There was once that my dog had puppies and I remember seeing her giving birth and my parents caring for them. Today, I can’t have a dog in the house, so I enjoy caring for people’s dogs. My schedule varies so I’m available part-time some week days (Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday) and some weekends. I have older kids who also love animals and may tag along with me when they’re available. At home I don’t have pets of my own except for fish, so your dog will have full attention. I can also crate your dog if needed and if you’d like that, otherwise I’m comfortable letting it roam.
“Laura & family were super responsive to messages, sent lots of photos and looked after our dog very well during her daycare session. Highly recommended!”

“This was our first time dropping our puppy off away from home for daycare. Hazard and his wife Zoey did a wonderful job taking care of him. They followed our instructions and sent us lots of photos and videos through out the entire day. We loved that our puppy got to stay with such a loving family and make lots of new friends! We look forward to working with them again.”

“Anna has given care to our beloved dog on 2 occasions with 5 walks. She has provided him with exceptional attention and love. Our dog is 13+ years old and we are always sensitive about his health- we don't have to worry about that with Anna at his side. Is there any greater piece of mind than that?”
“Jennifer has been terrific! My dog can be picky with who she likes and she took to Jennifer immediately. I would highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for someone to walk their pup.”

“Today was Lanie’s first time walking our pups. After our initial meet and greet yesterday, I felt very comfortable and confident that she provides thoughtful care of the pets she cares for. She accommodated a 30 minute shift in plans, and spent a good amount of time with the boys. They were both very calm and content when I got home. Thank you!”

About: I've grown up with a variety of animals my whole life, including dogs, cats, and farm animals. Although I have little experience with pet sitting, I'm very comfortable with all kinds of dogs and cats. I'm currently working 2 part-time jobs as a barista, however I'm super flexible as my work schedule changes from week to week. Besides that I like to go to the gym and spend time with my chickens as much as I can. Around that I still have plenty of free time to start pet sitting. I love spending time and playing with pets, so a lot of what I would do is keep your pet company and engage with them as much as I can. With dogs I would play fetch outside if possible and with cats I would run them around with whatever toys they have. As well as, making sure the animals have enough food / water and keeping their home as clean as possible.
About: Hi! I’m Annabelle, I’m 20 years old, and I’ve been taking care of dogs all my life! I first got two dogs at six years old and since then we’ve had another 10! We’ve had a mix of labradors, pitbulls and great pyrenees! I also used to dog sit for a family with roughly 13 dogs (some were their personal dogs and some fosters so the number varied). These dogs ranged from cane corsos to chihuahuas so I’m very comfortable with dogs of all sizes and personalities! I also used to dog sit during that time as well for various other families. I have experience with both puppies and elder dogs as well! Overall I’m very comfortable taking care of dogs and enjoy it very much! I typically go on a lot of walks and hikes during the week because I really enjoy getting outside and moving my body. Sometimes I take my dogs on walks, but they’re all a bit lazy, so being able to walk other dogs would fit perfectly into my schedule and I would love to do so. Otherwise my schedule is very flexible. In my home I always have an eye on my babies and I’m always snuggling with them! I would take care of anyone else’s pets as I treat my own, with lots of love and care! I also like to set little reminders for when the pets need to go outside, eat, or take any medications, just as an extra precaution. I always do my best to ensure my pets as well as others are always as comfortable and happy as possible when they’re with me!

About: Hi there! We’re Jake and Maria, a husband-and-wife team of lifelong dog owners and registered nurses. We’ve both spent our entire lives around dogs of all breeds and personalities — from energetic puppies to mellow seniors. As nurses, we’re detail-oriented, reliable, and calm under pressure — qualities that carry over perfectly into pet care. Whether your dog needs a walking buddy, or just some extra love and attention while you’re away, we’ll treat them like one of our own. We currently are the pet parents to two very active and sweet rescue pups, Roy and Annabelle. We also have experience with caring for dogs with medical needs and senior care as our first dog together, Shawn, crossed over the rainbow bridge in the fall of 2024 after 11 years with us. Please note our overnight rate includes walks. While not available during weekdays, due to our work schedules, we would be happy to provide evening walks on weekdays, and overnight care and walking services on weekends, holidays, and school break time. We coordinate our shifts so that dogs are never left alone for long periods. This makes us a great fit for pets who prefer extra companionship or need more frequent potty breaks and attention. During the summer, I will be available for all pet care needs! Let’s create a schedule that best aligns with my part time job and your pet’s routine. About: I have taken care of a wide variety of dogs ranging from English, American labs, white labs, and French bulldogs. I have walked these breeds typically spanning an hour, picked up their waste, and provided food and water. On occasion, I also have experience playing fetch indoors to create a stimulating, playful environment. I’m currently working a part time job: 8:15 AM- 2:15 PM M-F. I will be available during the weekends Saturday-Sunday for the entire days. I try to make sure the dogs are happy, safe, and not to crazy. I also try to get them to go to the bathroom.

“I went away for two weeks and had Ian walk our husky. Our husky is very high maintenance not to mention a flight risk. We had no worries while away and received pictures of everyday along the way as we enjoyed our trip. Highly recommend!”

About: For the past three years, I’ve volunteered at a local animal shelter with my mother. I completed my senior internship there and now volunteer on my own. In my time at the shelter, I’ve gained lots of dog walking experience, especially with young puppies. I’m familiar with shelter training techniques and with cleaning and sanitation. I have two dogs of my own, one of which is a difficult walker. I know how most types of dog harnesses work. My internship involved spending time in the cat room, during which time I worked with cats of all temperaments. I don’t currently work in an official capacity and don’t play any sports, so I’m free pretty much all the time aside from my volunteer work. I’m going to college in September, so I’m not available for long term arrangements that go past summer. I’m used to animals with a wide range of play styles. I have a dog that loves to play fetch and go for swims, and I live near a large trail system, so I’m most familiar with those forms of enrichment. I have a minivan and can drive dogs to dog parks, trails, and fields.
About: Hi! I’m Alyssa and I have grown up with 2 cats and 2 dogs and as a bonus 2 guinea pigs and a hamster lol. I love caring for animals and will happily walk or pet sitting for you! I have a very flexible schedule, I currently am in-between jobs so I am able to spend more time being available to pet sit or walk. When I do have a job I will edit my hours to match so that it is clear when I can care for your furry friend! I walk, feed, play with and can brush your pets! If they have accidents in the house I will clean it up after them and make sure they are ok. When I am watching your dog or cat, they will receive my upmost attention and care.

“Great experience from beginning to end. It was our first time leaving Gigi with a sitter. Dew kept us updated and sent photos, which was a great comfort to us. Will definitely use her again.”

“We appreciated Kyle’s flexibility and patience with our pup, she is not accustomed to being away from us. The updates and photos were great, it was comforting to know she was doing well while we were away.”

“Diana and Chris were great! They helped us feel comfortable with a meet n greet prior to the actual drop off, and kept us informed throughout the trip with updates and pictures. My dogs were well cared for and happy. Thanks again!”

“Rich was a wonderful host. He was available on a few days notice, flexible in drop off and pick up, sent lots of photos, and our shy dog clearly had a great time and was well taken care of. We’ll absolutely be back again. Thank you!”

About: I began pet sitting for neighbors in Boston and continued building my network after moving back to Connecticut. I now care for dogs throughout the year for friends and their families, usually four to five weeks annually. I work fully remote, so pets get steady company and attention throughout the day. I enjoy having animals around and treat them like part of the routine, not an interruption. I have an indoor cat who is fully vaccinated, so dogs are still welcome. If your pet needs a calm home, a reliable schedule, and someone who is present, I am a strong fit. I work fully remote, so pets are with me throughout the day. I start early, which leaves time for morning routines before work, and I take regular breaks for walks and check ins. Evenings are for longer walks, feeding, and downtime. If a pet has specific needs, I adjust my routine to match them. Pets stay in a calm, tidy home where I am present throughout the day. I work fully remote, so dogs get steady company, regular walk breaks, playtime, and a consistent routine. I follow each pet’s feeding schedule, medication needs, and any rules you share. My indoor cat is fully vaccinated and comfortable with visiting dogs. I introduce pets slowly and make sure everyone has their own space. If your dog has specific routines or preferences, I adjust to match them.
“We could not be more appreciative of Gwynne. Not only is she incredibly kind, but consistently kept us updated with pics of our pup. We could tell he was having the absolute best time! We definitely plan to reach out to her again when travel in the future. Thank you, Gwynne!”

“This is the 3rd time Judy has watched my little guy and he truly lives like the king he is while under her care! We will definitely keep using Judy as long as she'll have us :)”

“Nandita took great care of my rambunctious, attention seeking golden retriever Alf! She sent update pictures frequently and seemed to genuinely love spending time with Alf. Her dog Ozzy had lots of energy and played so nicely with Alf and I’m sure he’s be happy to stay at their home any time!”

“Charlotte was amazing and we will absolutely use her again! Our older boy had a bunch of different medicines to take at different points throughout the day and she was so organized and great with communication. She even went out to multiple stores to find the right low fat wet food he ran out of! Thank you Charlotte!”

“It was Shep & Sadie's 3rd stay with Elaine. They had fun socializing outside with other doggies. It was really nice to get photos of them playing in the yard. The doggies came home tired & happy! Thank you so much Elaine!”
