“Charlotte was amazing and we will absolutely use her again! Our older boy had a bunch of different medicines to take at different points throughout the day and she was so organized and great with communication. She even went out to multiple stores to find the right low fat wet food he ran out of! Thank you Charlotte!”

“Andrea dog care was perfect. She is conscientious and really a animal lover. Our dog came back happy and slept the entire day- so we know Hannah got good exercise and lots of attention!”

“Dajah and family took good care of Mythri and kept me updated constantly, and also took care of giving her her medication, all during a rainy and stormy weekend. Thanks to them!”

“She was very nice with my dog. He had a wonderful time playing with dogs in her house. She took special care in the night as my dog is new to pet sitting. He ate, slept and played well.”

“Diana was amazing with Cobie and so kind! Her and her family took great care of Cobie and I could tell Cobie loved having all the little kiddos looking after her and to hang out with. Diana was really attentive and sent lots of photos and updates which I really appreciated - felt great knowing Cobie was settled in and and being well taken care of. Will definitely be reaching out again next time I go out of town!”

“So pleased with our experience! This was our first time leaving our new puppy. Anner did a great job caring for her. He was responsive with communication and pics. Will definitely use him again.”

“Catarina did a great job taking care of our Catahoula Leopard dog. There's a large yard with a pond at Catarina's place in Redding, so Maggie felt very comfortable. She had a good time with Catarina's very playful dog Truffle. Maggie had never spent time around a cat before, but amazingly she also got along fine with Catarina's very friendly feline Steve. We could tell that Maggie liked being there, because she gave Catarina a lick on the face as we were leaving. We hope that Catarina will be available the next time we need somebody to take care of Maggie for a night.”

“Yi Jia was amazing—we felt completely at ease leaving CHAI in her care. Before our boarding date, she arranged a meet-and-greet and carefully noted everything CHAI needed attention on. During the days CHAI stayed with her, she kept us updated with photos and videos. We would definitely choose her again. Thank you.”

“Alondra and her family were the best! This was the first time I used Rover or any pet sitting service for my pups and I’m really glad I found Alondra. My peanuts had a blast with her and the other dogs, and she really put me at ease when I was out of town, especially with the daily updates of both pictures and fun videos. Thanks so much, Alondra and to your family! If ever I need to be out of town for a long time, I’ll know who to contact.”

“Irene was so sweet with our Oliver! She was very communicative and accommodating with our 4 month old pup! Thank you again for your help this week and we look forward to booking with you in the future!!”

About: What sets me apart from other dog sitters is the personalized care and attention I give to every dog. I treat each pet like a member of my own family, making sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable while their owners are away. I provide plenty of playtime, exercise, updates, and affection, while also following each dog’s unique routine and needs. With my experience caring for dogs of different ages, sizes, and personalities, pet owners can feel confident knowing their furry friend is in a caring and reliable environment. Pet care fits naturally into my daily schedule. As a teacher, I have a structured routine and plenty of experience providing care, supervision, and attention throughout the day. During the summer, I am home full-time, which allows me to dedicate even more time to the pets in my care. This means frequent potty breaks, walks, playtime, feeding, and lots of companionship throughout the day. Because I am home, pets are rarely left alone and can enjoy a safe, comfortable, and attentive environment while their owners are away. I have a fenced yard with a nice size backyard where the dogs can run around and enjoy the weather. And they will be supervised
About: I have experience caring for dogs in many ways, including: dog walking, play dates with other dogs, overnight dog sitting when the family is traveling and need help to stay with the dog those days they are away from home, or sometimes I have the authorization to bring them to my house, and daytime care. Through those years taking care of dogs I had a privilege to take care of 3/4 dogs at the same time, providing individualized attention and care to each furry companion. Dedicated to providing love and affection, I ensure that every dog in my care receives utmost comfort and attention. Prioritizing your dog's happiness and safety, our time together includes enjoyable walks in the park, fun playdates with other pups, and plenty of cuddles. Rest assured, your furry friend will always be in capable and caring hands with me. I'm currently working part-time, having time to dedicate to the dogs under my care. I prioritize their well-being by scheduling regular walks, play sessions, and ensuring they receive the attention they need throughout the day. I adjust my schedule to fit their needs, whether it's taking them for walks in the morning before I start work, checking in on them during the day, or spending quality time cuddling with them in the evening. Taking care of these furry friends isn't just a duty for me, it's a source of joy and fulfillment that enriches my daily life. In my house, I provide secure, worry-free environment for your beloved pets. I have a medium fenced backyard where I can take the dog to go potty and a great and friendly dog neighbor. My priority is to give the pet attention and make sure they will have love, and protection the whole stay!

I had a great experience and would definitely book with her again! She was very responsive and always answered my texts quickly. She sent photos and videos at least twice a day, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. She really made sure my dog was comfortable throughout his stay. Since he was there over the Fourth of July, she even turned up the AC to help drown out the fireworks, which I really appreciated. I was initially a little nervous because three other dogs were staying with her at the same time, but she reassured me they were all getting along and sent videos so I could see for myself. In the end, my dog looked like he was having an amazing time! I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and attentive dog sitter.

Gwynne is the best! My mini Aussies love her! Who else takes them for their favorite activities…hiking, swimming?! I never felt bad leaving them because they were so excited to pull into her driveway! I am so sad we are moving to Florida. I pray we find another Gwynne! Thank you for being the best surrogate mom to Blu and Finn! ❤️

Iam very happy with the care my dog received. Anhelia is a great dog caretaker . Communication with her was easy and pleasant — she kept me informed and responded quickly to messages. I felt completely comfortable leaving my dog in her care and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog sitter. My dog enjoyed time with Anhelia.
Big THANKS to Pamela and Miguel for taking such great care of SkyLee while I was away! It was our first time working together, and I couldn’t be happier with how it went. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing SkyLee was in such loving and capable hands. I am so grateful to have found someone I can trust with my Corgi. Looking forward to next time!

Kayla took such great care of our dog at her place while we were out of town for three nights. Took time to do a meet and greet and wanted to make sure she knew everything about him and his schedule. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in CT ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
