Pet care is a central part of my daily routine. I work from home full-time, so I’m always present to provide constant attention, supervision, and companionship. I schedule regular feeding times, potty breaks, and play sessions throughout the day, along with outdoor time in my fenced yard (weather permitting). Whether it’s early morning walks, mid-day cuddles, or evening wind-down time, caring for pets is seamlessly built into my everyday life.

Safety, trust & environment

I primarily care for pets in my own home, where they are treated like part of the family. Dogs enjoy multiple daily play sessions in a fully fenced yard, regular potty breaks, and plenty of cuddles and rest time indoors. I follow each pet’s routine closely, including feeding schedules, medication, and any special instructions.Cats stay in a private, quiet room away from dogs, with cozy beds, sunny spots, and space to explore comfortably. I tailor my care based on each pet’s personality—whether they’re playful, shy, or need extra reassurance. For clients who request drop-in visits or home sitting, I do my best to maintain their pet’s familiar routine and environment to reduce stress, offering the same level of care, love, and attention as I do at home.

Information Hazard L. would like to know about your pet

It’s important for me to know your pet’s daily routine, dietary needs, medical conditions, and any medications they take. I also like to know about their personality—are they shy or social? Do they get along with other pets or prefer their own space? Any behavioral quirks, fears (like loud noises or strangers), or triggers are helpful to know in advance. For dogs, I’d love to know their potty schedule, leash behavior, and whether they’re crate trained. For cats, details like litter box preferences, hiding habits, or if they tend to scratch furniture are useful. The more I know, the better I can make your pet feel safe, happy, and at home.

A typical day

I tailor activities based on each pet’s personality, age, and energy level. For dogs, we enjoy supervised playtime in my fenced yard, games of fetch, nature walks, and relaxing cuddle time indoors. For more energetic pups, we might play tug-of-war or work on simple commands for mental stimulation.Cats enjoy exploring their private room, lounging in sunny spots, chasing toys, and getting gentle affection if they’re comfortable. I also love giving treats (with your permission) and capturing fun moments with photos and videos to share with you!

Hazard L. was amazing!! Super responsive and flexible. Great communicator. She was always filling us in daily with pictures, videos and daily reports on our lovely cat. This was our first time leaving her with a sitter and she sure did help us be at ease while away from home. We highly recommend her. Definitely would have her cat sit again.

Hazard took amazing care of my two cats. She sent daily photos and videos and even cute report cards. You can tell the cats were well cared for because they did not appear scared or anxious, she even had a whole room full of toys and scratches for them to feel at home.

I really appreciated the care my precious dog received. I was a last minute holiday booking. Nina was shown warmth, flexibility and compassion. This was visible through the pictures I received daily, videos and the puppy report cards. I will absolutely book again!
