About: I’ve grown up with animals of all kinds from as early as I can remember. Being the oldest of my siblings I was the first to have to take on the pet care chores, and this included both our dogs and our cats, and the other types of animals we had in our household. I have pet care experience with dogs and cats, as well as other pets too. When I moved out on my own with my previous partner (2012-2017) we had adopted three rescued cats, and I was the main administer of the diabetic cat’s insulin and late IV fluid treatments. My ex kept our cats in the split, but in 2018 I adopted my first dog completely on my own. She’s a rescue pit bull mix and now, with my current husband, she is joined by another rescued pit bull mix and a rescued cat. Last year we also adopted a red ear slider turtle off the street in Philadelphia and he now enjoys his aquatic terrarium with his guppy and pleco friends. In 2023 I briefly worked for a dog walking company in Ridgefield and was bit by one of the client’s dogs, unprovoked, and because of that I left the service after being blamed for the outburst and attack (despite telling the owners and the employer that the dog was getting increasingly aggressive with me and I wasn’t comfortable walking him anymore). It was the only time I had ever had an animal turn on me like that and it made me rethink working for a service where I wasn’t listened to or given proper protection. My husband and I have been Rover clients since we moved to Connecticut in 2023 and I am very happy to say we have never had a negative experience, which is why I have decided to lend my services to other pets and families in the area that are in need of an experienced pet caretaker. I am a professional actor so I have days that are marked off for auditions and work or rehearsals, however it is not a consistent time or place. I work throughout the Northeast, NYC, and the Mid Atlantic currently with my acting opportunities, but I am also open to short term travel as well. Because of that, my availability is very open some weeks and not as much on others, depending on what projects I am currently involved in and what the scheduling is like. I would love to spend more time your pets in my downtime and give them the attention they require, since mine are pretty saturated in it regularly. I have two dogs, which are extremely friendly and love other dogs, people, and cats! Our cat is very aloof so they wouldn’t be seen much in cases where pet sitting at my home is needed. Our yard is not fenced in but I am very accustomed to taking them out for walks, or having them leashed under my supervision in our yard. Because I live in Newtown, there are plenty of places to get some quality walks in, and we are also not far from open public dog parks either if that suits your furry friend! I also have my own car which I am more than comfortable transporting your pet in or coming to you for check ins or walks. Our dogs are up to date on vaccines so that is not a worry either, and I am diligent in making sure everyone has a great time when their friends (and our human friends) are over too!

About: I’ve taken care of Cats and Dogs growing up. Some of my best memories came from my Yorkie-Terrior named Billy and Beagle named Ruby. Bonding with your pets is such an invaluable experience that can be life-changing for all those involved. Currently between jobs, searching for part time work. I’ll have loads of time to provide quality care for your precious pets. I’m available for House Sitting, Drop-In/Out visits and Walks. :) I follow instructions listed by each client to the T. I take my time to read carefully written instructions. I may ask for clarification on any request, solely to ensure I know the best way to properly look after, walk and take care of each pet, (family member,) as if they were my own.

About: I have been surrounded by animals for most of my life and truly believe they are some of the most loyal and loving companions. I currently have a 16-year-old Papillon, and I was blessed to have my Pit Bull for 13 wonderful years before she passed away last year. Caring for senior dogs has taught me patience, attentiveness, and the importance of providing gentle, loving care. I also have experience caring for my sister’s two Bengal cats, whom I lived with and helped care for over the course of two years. This has given me experience with both dogs and cats and an understanding that every pet has a unique personality and needs. In addition, I worked at Dogtopia, where I cared for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments. That experience strengthened my ability to multitask, remain calm in busy environments, and ensure every dog received the attention, affection, and care they deserved. During the school year, I work as a substitute teacher, which gives me a flexible schedule. I adapt quickly to new routines and understand how important it is for pet owners to know their furry family members are in safe, caring hands. When caring for your pets, I will treat them as if they were my own—with patience, kindness, respect, and lots of love. Whether it’s going for walks, playing, cuddling on the couch, or simply keeping them company, my goal is to make them feel comfortable, happy, and loved while you’re away. I’ll also treat your home with the same care and respect that I would expect for my own. I’m a substitute teacher during the school year, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to make time for walks, playtime, cuddles, and making sure pets feel comfortable and cared for. My day usually starts at 5:30am or 6:00am and ends by 4pm, with my weekends being free and many holidays off. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow all instructions exactly as provided to ensure their routine stays consistent and stress-free. I’m very neat, organized, and respectful of the home, and I always treat it as if it were my own. I make sure doors and gates are securely closed at all times, keep a close eye on pets when they’re outside, and stay alert for any wildlife or other potential hazards. My goal is to keep pets safe, comfortable, and happy while maintaining a clean and well-cared-for home environment.

About: I have over 40 years experience caring for dogs and animals. My experience includes employment with a veterinarian, employment at a kennel, and a lifetime of dog ownership. We custom built our home to be a perfect paradise for a dog's life. We have a beautiful fenced in private backyard that offers a grass area, deck area, and a woods area for those adventuresome puppies! We have a dog door for those dog guests that want frequent outings or door service by us for those less ambitious doggies. A typical day at doggy paradise includes numerous supervised romps in the fenced in backyard, walks in the neighborhood, lots of love, and plenty of water and meals as per owners instructions. As a little background we just lost our last two dogs within the past two years, one to old age, and one young to cancer. We still want dogs in our life so we are now boarding. Note: An additional daily surcharge will be collected for dogs over 55lbs, details will be addressed at booking depending on dogs weight and age. Thank you Full time care. We will take great care of your pet in our home and fenced in backyard. Typically there is an adult present for full 24 hr care. I have a fenced in yard where dogs are let out. I follow your specific dogs instructions and routine, depending on what they are used to.
