About Caitlin N.
Communication
Safety, trust & environment
I have been taught that safety is the number one priority. Examples of this during my time as a pet caregiver are managing on leash behavior with reactive dogs or administering medication at the correct times. I believe in being upfront and honest with expectations. In addition, while in my care I like to send update videos and photos of pets to owners to reassure them that their animals are safe with me.
Information Caitlin N. would like to know about your pet
It’s important to know your pet's personality and favorite things to do, how much to feed them and when, if they are friendly with other dogs/or people. In addition, if I need to administer medication other than orally, I would like to see it first hand, over video, or if possible practice it with the owner present. If there are precautions I should take like not petting them in specific places, if they are aggressive during dinner time or are possessive with toys. These are the types of things I like knowing ahead of time.
A typical day
When I am watching a dog or dogs I like to plan my time carefully to include them in as many of my daily activities as possible. For instance I love going for hikes and walking paths. I would also love to bring them along to pet friendly outings like at lunch or dinner. While at home, I love cuddles and playing their favorite games. If the owner has taught behaviors to the dog I’m more than happy to practice. For Cats I try to keep it as consistent to the owners schedule as I find it makes them feel more at ease.

I’m a cat person at heart!
Cat care experience
I have experience with almost every type of cat both domestic and exotic. I have 3 myself and have experience giving oral, injectable and inhaler medication. I am comfortable working with cats that might not trust me and those that don’t always enjoy people. I believe every cat must be respected.
Reviews

Nadira had a blast on her snowy walk! Can't wait to have her go on more adventures! Thank you, Caitlin!

Caitlin was a perfect sitter! Pictures, movies, reports, all I needed to be sure my girl was safe and happy. Caitlin was very accommodating, doing little extras I needed done for the impending snowstorm. She was also very flexible about changing dates. Highly recommend!!

Caitlin was great with my cat, Grey. She provided excellent updates and videos from each visit. I highly recommend her to anyone needing cat sitting assistance.

Thanks for taking good care of P! I love how excited she gets to see you.
