About: Im comfortable working with friendly dogs of different ages, including puppies who need extra attention and older dogs who may need a slower, more gentle approach. Plus, my dog is very friendly and enjoys the company, which can help other dogs feel more comfortable and social. I’m currently in school for ultrasound, so with my full-time schedule, I’ve been looking for a flexible way to earn some extra income. I really enjoy walking my dog, and I’m interested in turning that into a small business to help others who need dog walking services while also building connections with other dogs. My dog is very friendly and would definitely enjoy the extra company. I care for pets in both my home and my client’s home, depending on the service. I make sure they have a safe, clean space, follow their feeding and walking routines, and give them plenty of attention. When I’m in a client’s home, I follow all instructions closely to keep their pet comfortable and cared for.
“Taylor is fantastic with our dog! She takes great care of her, is on time and communicates clearly about her visits! Cheez is always happy and calm when we come home from her time with Taylor and we love that we have someone we can trust to care for her while we’re away!”

About: I have provided pet sitting services to friends and family and now i'm offering my services on rover. As a pet sitter I will do the best I can to make sure your pet is safe, comfortable, and always tail waging. I currently have everyday available to spend time with your fur babies. I have two kids that I drop off and pick off from school Mon-Fri. I have a 5 year old tabby cat who likes to spend time in her room when doggies are around so it's an easy fix if your cat isn't cat friendly. I also have a fenced yard for your dogs to play in. My two kids love all animals, and are eager to help out if possible.
About: I treat every pet like they're part of my own family. I provide reliable, personalized care based on each pet's unique personality, routine, and needs. Whether it's daily walks, drop-in visits, overnight stays, or extra cuddle time, my goal is to keep pets happy, comfortable, and stress-free while you're away. I'm experienced with puppies, including reinforcing basic training and maintaining consistent routines, as well as caring for senior pets who may need a gentler pace, medication reminders, or extra patience and attention. I believe in clear communication that allows for peace of mind knowing your pet is in loving, dependable hands. I have a fully flexible schedule over the summer months July and August; Monday-Sunday. September-June, I am available Monday-Friday from 3:30 P.M. on ( I could do a drop by feeding prior to 6 A.M. only) and have full availability Saturday and Sunday’s. As a pet owner myself, I know how important it is to find someone you can trust with your furry family members. I care for every pet as if they were my own, making sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you're away. I stick closely to your pet's normal routine, whether that means feeding, walks, playtime, cuddle time, administering medications if needed, or simply providing calm companionship. I understand that every pet is different, so I take the time to learn their personality and what makes them happiest. During each visit, I'll refresh food and water, clean up after your pet, keep litter boxes clean, and make sure your home is left just as I found it. Whether your pet is energetic, shy, young, or a senior, my goal is to give them the same patience, attention, and love I give my own pets, so you can travel or work with complete peace of mind.

I love spending time with older, calmer dogs as well who need just as much love. I am very on top of it when taking care of your pets and will make sure they get the best care possible. I also have experience with cats and can make sure they are as comfortable as possible. I am also very flexible in the type of care and the times you need! i’m not really busy during the summer so I have plenty of time to watch your pets. About: Having grown up with a dog and a cat and a hamster, my love of furry friends started young! I sat for neighbors for years and then began sitting for families whose kids I taught swim lessons at the town pool. I went to college pre-vet and worked at a vet’s office for several years before getting into restaurant work. Now I’m looking to get back to my animal-loving roots and can’t wait to make your best friend’s day! Cats, dogs, horses, ferrets, guinea pigs, rabbits and many others are all creatures I’ve comfortably cared for short or long term. I can check on, feed, play with or administer medications (including injections) to all your pets. As an avid reader, I’m also happy to just sit home with your shy friends so they aren’t alone in the house, even if they’d rather not come out to play! I’m currently looking to make this my full time job so I’m completely available to you! My routine will depends mostly on your needs, but I’m completely flexible on timing. I can drop in or hang out or stay over, all depends what you need for your friend! Since leaving my restaurant work behind, I don’t have any daily commitments at the moment but I’m very used to flexible hours and happy to work with you to find the best routine!
“My schedule is very unpredictable and Steve was extremely sweet and accommodated to all the schedule changes I had. He was also nice enough to meet me and Jax so we were both comfortable with the situation! Will definitely be booking again!”

About: I have had dogs my whole life and i truly love to bond and be with animals. I want to be a vet when im older so i will take this job very seriously and work to the best of my ability. I have pet sit for other dogs before and loved to spend time with some new animal friends. I'm currently a student in high school so i have a lot of time to come and take care of any animals that need. I love to go on walks so if your dog wants to walk, we could walk for hours. I do not have a fenced yard but i am used to having to walk big dogs that i've sat on leashes and they have plenty or backyard space to walk around and do their business. If they need a crate that is also 100% doable.

“Josh was a fantastic sitter, and we had a great experience with him. He did drop-in visit and then house sat for us and took excellent care of our cat. What really stood out was how quickly he bonded with our cat who is shy and usually hides from people. Josh was reliable, communicative, and clearly very comfortable around animals. We came home to a happy, well-cared-for cat and a house that was just as we left it. Overall, Josh did a wonderful job, and we would definitely hire him again in the future!”

“Katie is a kind sweet person who I trust to be in my home and to take care of my two precious fur babies. She arrived on time stayed the duration of the expected visit time and completed the tasks of which I requested upon scheduling this visit.”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Trumbull
I had an absolutely wonderful experience with my cat sitter! I have three cats, and they all warmed up to her so quickly — which says a lot because they don’t always trust new people. She clearly has a natural way with animals and made them feel comfortable right away. She spent a lot of quality time with them during each visit, not just the basics. I could tell they were happy and relaxed in all the updates she sent. She was amazing about communication! I received regular messages, photos, and videos, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. Everything was spotless when I returned — litter boxes were cleaned, and everything was exactly as it should be. It’s such a relief knowing my cats were so well cared for. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, attentive, and genuinely caring sitter. I will absolutely be booking her again! 🐱💛

Jocelyn did a fantastic job with drop in visits for our cats Cacio and Pepe. She covered all their basic needs and favorite things on each visit. She even cleaned up when one of our cats got sick. Loved receiving photos each time she finished a check in! Would definitely book again in a heartbeat.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Trumbull. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
