About: I’ve dog sat and walked for multiple families and cared for cats for 10+ years. About: Hi! I’m Katie :) I’m a freelance environmental communications consultant with time on her hands and a love of all animals. Previously, I worked on farms caring for chickens and goats as well as two dogs. I love the outdoors and will happily take your dog on walks! I grew up with a Beagle and a Beagle-bloodhound mix and would pet-sit the next-door neighbor's Beagle as well as another neighborhood golden retriever. When walking or petsitting your dog, I'll make sure to give them lots of attention, active play, and follow your dirctions to the T! I'm more than happy to take photos or videos of your dog for you and will provide updates on how they're doing. Due to my love of animals and nature, 10% of revenue from each booking is donated to Painted Dogs Conservation, a nonprofit protecting the endangered African Painted Dogs in Zimbabwe. Given my current freelance work, I’m able to spend extended periods of time with your pets. You tell me how often you need your dog walked or checked-in on and I’ll adjust my schedule to accommodate it :) While taking care of your pet, safety is the Number 1 concern. There will be double checks of leashes, no doors opened unless the dog is secure or faraway from it, and regular communication to you to confirm what is going on with your animal.

About: I grew up taking care of dogs and cats. In the past few years I have been a regular dog sitter for a close family friend. I also have experience handling reptiles. I’m working full time but I am available primarily in the afternoon and evenings during the week. I have open availability on Saturday and Sunday I care for pets by paying attention to their needs and wants. I love to play with dogs & cats, making sure that they are completely taken care of.

About: Growing up, my household was always filled with pets. These pets ranged from fish, birds, hamsters, cats and of course, dogs. I think we might have had more dogs than any other of the pets listed. There were times when we had three dogs at once. By growing up surrounded by puppies, I learned how to manage my time around taking care and playing with multiple dogs. I still have and care for two dogs. I can tell if they want to play or if they need to go out to do their business. I have so much love for dogs and I will show your dog as much love as I show mine when I am at home. He/She will never feel neglected while in my care.... I am also on wag.
