About: I have taken care of Samoyeds my whole life. Many of my own dogs have had litters that I’ve taken care of. I’ve also taken care of my neighbors dogs which range in size from chihuahuas to German shepherds. My main career is mainly remote so I’m able to stay at home and take care of dogs. My own pets are taken out twice a day and fed twice a day. Once in the morning and once at night. In my house we usually cage our dogs until everyone is home so we have enough eyes to watch them. If you need me to stay with your dog the entire time that shouldn’t be a problem.

About: When I was a kid, I would literally take my stuffed animals on walks. Now, I walk real pets. For years I dreamed of having my own dog to walk. After 7 years of walking my plush toy puppy, I finally got my own real live dog. Since then, I’ve taught him many tricks (even entering him in contests). Although I'm most comfortable with dogs and cats, I love being around all animals and have always cared for my pets as if they were my children (even if at times they were just stuffed animals 😭). I am post-grad freelance publicist with a flexible schedule. I miss my own dog a lot (who recently passed) and would love to get the chance to spend time with dogs and animals in general. As long as I have ample notice, I can fit stays and walks into my schedule without a problem as my schedule is flexible. I can guarantee that your pets safety will be my top priority -- I will adjust my care routine based on your specific pets’ needs and am extremely detail-oriented. While I am excellent with following specific directions, I can take initiative when needed. With many leadership roles at my college, I am confident that I can think quick on my feet. Lastly, I can adapt to any home and pet depending on their needs. Not only can I play with them and teach them tricks, I am also skilled at providing the highest-quality care through practice taking care of my own dog, who requires medication, regular exercise, and careful attention.

About: I've taken care of dogs since I was a child. I owned two Miniature Pinschers growing up and I adopted one Australian Shepherd mix that has special needs as an adult. I trained all of my dogs from the time they were puppies until they passed away as seniors. I also volunteered at the Humane Society of Westchester. I've always enjoyed being around animals since I was young and animals tend to feel the same way about me. Animals who are usually timid around strangers are comfortable around me right away and they seem to trust me right away. I feel like connecting with animals (dogs specifically) is a gift that I have. Being a sitter is a great way for me to use that gift in everyday life. I'm able to adapt to the normal routine of the pets that I'm sitting in order to make the process as smooth as possible. I don't have a lot of room in my studio apartment so I'm only able to watch either 1-2 small dogs or one medium sized dog. Large dogs are too big for my apartment. If I'm at a client's home, I'll change my schedule to meet the needs of the pet. I believe all animals are unique and all have different needs in order to thrive in the environment that they're in. I'm willing to meet those needs by building my schedule around the animals that I'm sitting.

Kerry immediately put my fears to rest -- asked all the right questions, was wonderful with my dog, and communicated well and often during the visit. About: What sets me apart is that I’ve cared for dogs through every stage of life. I grew up with three dogs starting when I was 12, so I have experience with everything from managing puppy energy to giving older dogs the patience, gentleness, and attention they need. I’ve also helped friends and family with their dogs over the years, whether that meant walks, drop-ins, or caring for them while they were away. This is the first time since childhood that I’m living without dogs, and I’d love the chance to help care for yours like they’re my own. I work full-time during the week, so weekends are the best fit for me right now. That’s when I have the most flexibility and can give dogs more of my time and attention without feeling rushed. I live in a house with a front and backyard, giving dogs plenty of room to relax, play, and get fresh air. There are also several parks nearby, so walks and outdoor time are easy to work into the day. I know every dog is different, so I’ll make sure to follow their normal routine and keep them comfortable, safe, and cared for like they’re my own.

About: I have had experience with dogs of all breeds since I was 16 years old when I worked as a kennel tech! I was also a volunteer at the Human Society and mostly worked in the cat room - spending time and cuddles and cleaning their living area. I know that the care of your pet is the most important thing to feel secure about when going on vacation or out of town. In addition to years of care sitting for both cats and dogs, I volunteered in South Africa and cared for baby baboons! I know your pet is unique and I will follow all instructions given to ensure your peace of mind, your pet’s safety, and will send pictures daily! I transitioned from the corporate world to and now do this full time, so I am flexible and available at all times to keep your pet’s schedule on track! I care and respect your home just as much as I love animals. If I am in your home, I will follow all instructions as given and am happy to send as many pictures as you request during my stay.

I have worked with a multitude of clients and their pets, including elderly dogs and dogs that require oral medication administration. About: I’ve taken care of animals most of my life and take pride in making sure that any animal I encounter is well cared for. I have experience with cats, dogs of all sizes including large dogs (150+ lbs). I currently work full time but from home half the week. I am able to do drop in visits and walks mid-day as well as before and after work hours. As a cat/dog Walker and sitter I treat every home I visit with the same care and respect I have for the animals. I will only ever follow instructions the owners have provided as it relates to their pets and home.
