About: Hi! I’m Stef, nice to meet you. A little bit about me.. I’ve been caring for animals pretty much my whole life. I actually grew up on a farm, so I was surrounded by dogs, cats, horses, cows… you name it. Being around animals has always been my happy place. I’m active, responsible, and super reliable. I’ve worked with all kinds of pets, even little reptiles like geckos and bearded dragons. I love giving each one the attention they need. I can handle feeding, walks, playtime, follow medicine schedule. Your fur baby will truly be in loving hands with me. I care for every pet like they’re my own, and I’m excited to hopefully meet yours soon. I’m a grad student and spend most of my time studying from home and wfh, so my schedule is flexible. I’m usually around throughout the day and can easily plan my routine around walks, feedings, and playtime. I do step out for my workout classes, but they’re short and scheduled, so your pet still gets steady attention and care. Overall, I’m home often and fully available to give them a reliable, loving routine. I have a warm cottage, with a big backyard. They are allowed to run in the yard and I’ll take them on walks around it. They will have a lot of space to play and walk.

About: For almost all of my life I have had either beloved cats or dogs. I can do long walks or cat playtime. I am also an animal advocate. My small dog with a big friendly personality, who recently passed at age 14, was epileptic and I kept her close. We were besties. I got to spend a lot of time with other dogs with her. Before that I always had cats, I get them, and I find them all cute and hilarious. I have a flexible schedule, mornings are best, right now Mon-wed.. Can take a long walk or just hang out with your animal. Weekends are great. I live in Somers and work part time in Pleasantville. So anywhere in between is great. Will not be caring for dogs in my home at this time, unless very small/tiny and quiet. I can come to your house happy to travel if for a longer stay.

About: I grew up in a big family with lots of pets including dogs, cats, rodents, and birds. I have been successful in self-taught basic training of dogs. I am a graduate student who plans to have pet care be a source of income that fits around my schedule. I have classes during the week and currently live on campus which is why I cannot provide care in my home. I have owned many pets in my life and have cared for different ages from puppies and kittens to seniors. I enjoy promoting enrichment activities and physical exercise.

I have a fully fenced( with the exception of the driveway entrance- which can be fenced off while your pup plays outside) two acre property with 8ft deer fencing. I have two 60ish pound dogs who are very friendly and low key. Our dogs free roam the house yours can as well or can be in a crate if your prefer. We are pretty active and love to go on long sniffari walks!

About: I've cared for Samoyeds my whole life, including litters from several of my own dogs. I've also looked after neighborhood dogs of all sizes, from chihuahuas to German shepherds, so I'm comfortable with pets big and small. Since my main career is remote, I'm home to keep an eye on dogs throughout the day. My own pets get a morning and evening walk plus feeding, so there's a consistent routine your dog can settle into. Your dog's safety is always the top priority. If everyone in the house needs to step out and there aren't enough eyes to keep watch, I use a crate to keep things calm and secure until someone's back. And if you'd prefer I stay with your dog the whole time instead, that's absolutely fine too — happy to work with whatever makes you most comfortable.

About: I’ve had experience with larger breeds. I had an Airedale terrier growing up and had a large golden doodle who was almost 100 pounds so I’m a big fan of big dogs! I’m able to walk larger dogs with ease and have experience with food sensitive dogs as my doodle was allergic to just about everything. I’m available to do dog sitting pretty much whenever. I work from home full time so I am able to provide a lot of attention to any of my dog guests who stay with me and my husband. For house sitting I keep your pet on their normal routine, same feeding times, walks, and bedtime, and I send photo and text updates throughout so you can relax while you're away. I follow feeding and medication instructions exactly (I give my own senior dog her meds on a strict schedule, so I take it seriously). Every booking starts with a free meet & greet so your pet and I are comfortable before anything is confirmed. Since I come to you, your pet stays in their own home, familiar surroundings, their own bed and yard, which keeps them calmest, especially seniors and anxious pets. I treat your home with respect: doors locked, mail brought in, plants watered if you'd like, everything left as I found it. I have two dogs of my own, John, a Yorkie, and Lucy, a senior Chihuahua, so I'm comfortable with everything from high-energy pups to gentle senior care.

About: My family is proud to have adopted several dogs from local shelters and make them a part of our family. When our Ziggy (Golden Retriever) passed away in 2017 after 9 years, we picked up Loki (a black lab mix) and he's bringing us joy on a daily basis. Since I moved away to start medical school, I have been looking for ways to connect with animals, and this has included going to visit friends with dogs and cats, and is also the reason I've signed up with Rover! I look forward to meeting your lovely pets, and to working with you! The best options for me will be dog-walking or house-sitting considering my school schedule, but mornings/evenings would probably work best for me. However, I don't have a set schedule, so there is possible availability at any time during the day, depending on what mandatory events I need to attend. I am unable to care for pets in my home but I am happy to house-sit. I can ensure that your pet is getting the proper amount of water, food, exercise, rest, and attention for the entire time I am booked.
