I have a soft spot for snuggly pups and love long walks. I am currently an online college student with a very light course-load! So I have lots of flexibly and time to care for your pup! I have a fully fenced( with the exception of the driveway entrance- which can be fenced off while your pup plays outside) two acre property with 8ft deer fencing. I have two 60ish pound dogs who are very friendly and low key. Our dogs free roam the house yours can as well or can be in a crate if your prefer. About: I adore cats and take any chance I can to hang out with them. My sister has three (my nieces and nephew) whom I love to watch frequently when she travels for work. About: I've cared for Samoyeds my whole life, including litters from several of my own dogs. I've also looked after neighborhood dogs of all sizes, from chihuahuas to German shepherds, so I'm comfortable with pets big and small. Since my main career is remote, I'm home to keep an eye on dogs throughout the day. My own pets get a morning and evening walk plus feeding, so there's a consistent routine your dog can settle into. Your dog's safety is always the top priority. If everyone in the house needs to step out and there aren't enough eyes to keep watch, I use a crate to keep things calm and secure until someone's back. And if you'd prefer I stay with your dog the whole time instead, that's absolutely fine too — happy to work with whatever makes you most comfortable.

About: Ive been a professional dog walker for 7 years in my neighborhood. Everywhere I go they ask where are the dogs?? Ive had many satisfied clients. I have slots for more dogs daily. Small dogs are my preference since I have in a small area for them to play in. Overnights are fine too. I have a main play room in my space for smaller dogs. Large dogs may need an overnight pen to rest in overnight for dogs over 30 pounds.
About: I've taken care of dogs since I was a child. I owned two Miniature Pinschers growing up and I adopted one Australian Shepherd mix that has special needs as an adult. I trained all of my dogs from the time they were puppies until they passed away as seniors. I also volunteered at the Humane Society of Westchester. I've always enjoyed being around animals since I was young and animals tend to feel the same way about me. Animals who are usually timid around strangers are comfortable around me right away and they seem to trust me right away. I feel like connecting with animals (dogs specifically) is a gift that I have. Being a sitter is a great way for me to use that gift in everyday life. New clients get a free 2027 desk calendar that has photos of my clients and my dog as well (check my photos for a preview). I'm able to adapt to the normal routine of the pets that I'm sitting in order to make the process as smooth as possible. I don't have a lot of room in my studio apartment so I'm only able to watch either 1-2 small dogs or one medium sized dog. Large dogs are too big for my apartment. If I'm at a client's home, I'll change my schedule to meet the needs of the pet. I believe all animals are unique and all have different needs in order to thrive in the environment that they're in. I'm willing to meet those needs by building my schedule around the animals that I'm sitting.

About: When I was a kid, I would literally take my stuffed animals on walks. Now, I walk real pets. For years I dreamed of having my own dog to walk. After 7 years of walking my plush toy puppy, I finally got my own real live dog. Since then, I’ve taught him many tricks (even entering him in contests). Since we rarely leave her for any length of time, we were so relieved that her stay worked out so well. “We were worried that our Laima would have a hard time with separation anxiety, (first time away from us in the 2 yrs since we rescued her) but Rene and her pups made her feel right at home. The pictures she posted spoke volume on how well Laima enjoyed her stay! We hope to use Rene again soon!”
