I am post-grad freelance publicist with a flexible schedule. I miss my own dog a lot (who recently passed) and would love to get the chance to spend time with dogs and animals in general. As long as I have ample notice, I can fit stays and walks into my schedule without a problem as my schedule is flexible.

While I am excellent with following specific directions, I can take initiative when needed. With many leadership roles at my college, I am confident that I can think quick on my feet. Lastly, I can adapt to any home and pet depending on their needs. Not only can I play with them and teach them tricks, I am also skilled at providing the highest-quality care through practice taking care of my own dog, who requires medication, regular exercise, and careful attention.

Let me know if your pet has any special requests or needs ahead of time so I can properly accommodate them (i.e. medication, minimum exercise, health condition, allergies, etc.). My preference for breeds is for calmer dogs who are not aggressive or violent. I am happy to take care of high-energy dogs as long as they are friendly.
A typical day
When caring for your pets, I take a holistic approach, taking into account both their physical and mental needs. A typical day with me includes long walks in the early morning sunshine, stretching and grounding in the grass in nature with your pets favorite toys, and cuddling together at the end of the night. One of my favorite things to do with dogs is to teach them tricks, so if there is anything you have been wanting your dog to learn, I would love to spend time teaching them fun tricks through delicious treats and creative games.

Pet care experience
When I was a kid, I would literally take my stuffed animals on walks. Now, I walk real pets. For years I dreamed of having my own dog to walk. After 7 years of walking my plush toy puppy, I finally got my own real live dog. Since then, I’ve taught him many tricks (even entering him in contests). Although I'm most comfortable with dogs and cats, I love being around all animals and have always cared for my pets as if they were my children (even if at times they were just stuffed animals 😭).
