I’ve been around and caring for dogs for most of my life, including my own dog Max, who I got when I was 14 and truly consider my soul dog. He passed away in July 2025 from complications related to megaesophagus, but for a year and a half before that, I helped manage his condition after we were initially told he only had 30 days to live. That experience taught me so much about patience, consistency, and providing attentive, specialized care. Because of these experiences, I’m especially comfortable with dogs who may need extra patience, have medical needs, or experience anxiety. I work full-time during the week, but I’m always available for morning and evening visits, including feeding, walks, playtime, and general care. I’m off every other weekend, as well as some Mondays and Fridays, which gives me extra flexibility for longer visits or overnight stays. I’m also happy to accommodate overnight care when needed, so your pet can stick to their normal routine and feel comfortable while you’re away. About: I'm currently volunteering at Whiskers Cat Rescue cleaning cages and socializing cats. I am comfortable administering medications to cats. I have owned a small dog in the past. My current cats are a wobbly boy with Cerebellar Hypoplasia and a super senior (21yrs!) old lady cat. My schedule is really flexible right now. I'm not free a few times through the week and weekend but for no longer than a few hours. I'm very patient with animals, especially more skittish ones. You need to work with them even if it takes time to develop a relationship or trust.

About: I am a mom to three human children, six dogs, two cats, and three horses. When my kids were younger, my "me time" was spent volunteering for various rescues and shelters. I love taking care of animals and found so much satisfaction helping out those poor little creatures who had no home to call their own! I am never gone for longer than 2 hours at a time, and I am yet to leave my dogs outside in the yard when away with all the wildlife around… I adjust to whatever your pet is most used to when they are in their own home. Fenced in and wire lined 1+ acre grass manicured yard and over two acres of manicured grass outside the fenced yard for those pups once they bond with me and will reliably come when called. Your dog can sleep on my bed or in one of the plush dog beds I have around my home. Each door has an alarm system that sounds when the door is opened, and cameras surrounding the property... I always have eyes even when I am out running errands.

About: Avid animal lover with 15 years experience with all sorts of pets. I've been around dogs and cats most of my life. I have a special soft spot for big dogs, I'm 6 feet tall and strong so I know how to gently let them know who's in charge. I live in a big house with a couple roommates who have been around animals their whole lives as well. One of my roommates also dog sits. I have a big yard and live a 2 minute walk away from fields and walking trails that I jog at every evening. I love running around and exercising with animals, if they can fetch, even better!! I have availability for walks in the evening on weekdays and full days and nights on weekends. Multiple day stays are possible on weekends starting Friday night. I have a large house with an unfenced yard. Have a long lead on an anchor in the ground so we can chill outside without worrying about being off leash in an unfenced yard. I also live very close to many walking trails and fields that I can bring them too.
