About: I do love dogs but. I am a cat person. I travel for work so I haven't gotten another since my last three years ago. My best friend told me she still can't believe I haven't because "Jill" and "cats" are like "peanut butter and jelly" in her head. I got my last two cats, a brother and sister, as kittens in high school and loved them so hard for 12 and 15 years. Max had three urinary blockages and after the last, he just couldn't bounce back. And Jinx had kidney disease that progressed to failure. So I have some experience with prescription food and medications as well as giving subcutaneous fluids. Definitely wasn't my favorite but I would have done anything for my kitties and would do the same for another's.

We also live right next door to my father, who is a veterinarian and available for any questions we might have. We have a new addition to our family and welcomed in a baby boy in June 2025. We do have a soft spot for our older guests and love to keep them comfortable and pampered. We live in a one story house, so there are minimal steps. We try to mimic your own schedule at home. About: I've had pets since I was a kid. Most recent we've had our current dog for a little over 2 years since he was 8 weeks old. Our kids love dogs and would love a second but we just don't have room full time for another dog so pet sitting is another great way to have an extra pet for a short period. I currently work part-time so I'm home throughout the day so pets are not alone for long. Just for trips to the store or dr. appts. I have a home with an unfenced yard. we do have a runner for our dog when he likes to be outside. We have a quiet street so can do easy walks when needed. We do prefer dogs that are not too hyper as we do have kids. Our dog is crate trained when needed but has free roam in our home so he can come up and get cuddles while watching TV or chill out on his bed. If dogs are not house trained we would prefer a crate. If they are small enough we do have our crate that our dog does not use on a consistent basis. Our dog is super exitable and crazy at first but is loveable and friendly to other dogs and cats.

About: I'm currently volunteering at Whiskers Cat Rescue cleaning cages and socializing cats. I am comfortable administering medications to cats. I have owned a small dog in the past. My current cats are a wobbly boy with Cerebellar Hypoplasia and a super senior (21yrs!) old lady cat. My schedule is really flexible right now. I'm not free a few times through the week and weekend but for no longer than a few hours. I'm very patient with animals, especially more skittish ones. About: I am a mom to three human children, six dogs, two cats, and three horses. When my kids were younger, my "me time" was spent volunteering for various rescues and shelters. I love taking care of animals and found so much satisfaction helping out those poor little creatures who had no home to call their own! Throughout my years of taking care of pets, I have care for basically every age, breed, size, and temperament! I have also provided care on just about every level...from administering meds, IV treatments, vaccines, basic grooming, and basic training/behavior modifications. I joined Rover because I want to continue helping animals and support pet owners who need someone they can truly trust. I understand how important it is to know your pet is safe, comfortable, and cared for like family while you’re away. Being able to provide that peace of mind is something I take seriously. Every pet has unique needs, routines, and personalities. My goal is to provide consistent, attentive care while maintaining the structure and comfort your pet is used to. I also prioritize clear communication so you always feel confident and informed while your pet is in my care. My schedule has a lot of flexibility, and I am a full-time caregiver for these sweet babies! I will always do my best to be available for you and your furry family members! Pets in my home have my full supervision, and when I am unable to have my eye on them, they are either crated or in their own safe space! Our yard is fully fenced!

About: Growing up, I had a Lab and then a Boxer and two cats. I've also helped my aunt at the doggie daycare she runs out of her home where she often has more than 10 dogs at a time. Everything from a Great Pyrenees to German Shepherds to Doodles to Yorkies. And it's always so much fun! The care I'll give your pets will really depend on them and their needs. About: I grew up with dogs and cats. So caring for pets has always been a natural part of my life. I believe they truly are your family. I've cared for dogs and cats for friends and more recently focusef on pet sitting in the home for their owners while they are way. I'm semi retired which gives me more flexibility to care for your sweet loved one. I'm currently working part time which gives me more flexibility to walk the dog during the day and or evening and avail on weekends as well as pet sitting for long trips. If it's a medium just small dog I can take care of your pet at my home It's a condo but we have plenty of yard to walk it and walk around the neighborhood. Although has to be on a lease. Or I can come pet sit in your house if you would prefer.

About: I am a semi retired veterinary assistant with nearly 20 years professional experience and a passion for caring for animals. As a life long pet owner myself, I know how hard and stressful it can be to leave your pets at home. I appreciate and respect the trust that every owner puts in me when they contact me to care for their animal. I can give medications if needed, including injections. Also have worked in shelters and volunteer at rescues. I have taken care of senior dogs and cats. Feeding, walking, playing or if they have any special needs is not a problem. I have a flexible schedule and open to working with you to arrange drop in visits. Mid morning through later afternoons are open for me. If you need another time, just let me know. I'm happy to do whatever your pets need, whether they want to play, walk or just hang out. If they are a little shy and need time to get used to me is totally understandable, I will follow their cues. I will take my time to learn what they need and adapt to them. The goal is always to keep them as stress free as possible.

Fenced in and wire lined 1+ acre grass manicured yard and over two acres of manicured grass outside the fenced yard for those pups once they bond with me and will reliably come when called. Your dog can sleep on my bed or in one of the plush dog beds I have around my home. Each door has an alarm system that sounds when the door is opened, and cameras surrounding the property... I always have eyes even when I am out running errands.
About: Avid animal lover with 15 years experience with all sorts of pets. I've been around dogs and cats most of my life. I have a special soft spot for big dogs, I'm 6 feet tall and strong so I know how to gently let them know who's in charge. I live in a big house with a couple roommates who have been around animals their whole lives as well. One of my roommates also dog sits. I have a big yard and live a 2 minute walk away from fields and walking trails that I jog at every evening. I love running around and exercising with animals, if they can fetch, even better!! I have availability for walks in the evening on weekdays and full days and nights on weekends. Multiple day stays are possible on weekends starting Friday night. I have a large house with an unfenced yard. Have a long lead on an anchor in the ground so we can chill outside without worrying about being off leash in an unfenced yard. I also live very close to many walking trails and fields that I can bring them too.
