About: Our family loves our pets, and I'll love yours too while you are away. My husband and I adopted our first black Lab in 2001, when she was eight years old. She was our first baby. Since that time, in addition to raising our human family, we have added many furry, finned, and feathered members to our home. While my ten-year-old Havanese is my "Best Boy;" I am "House Mom" to the other pets in our family. I love the time in the day I spend with my pets and look forward to spreading that love to other animals as I have more free time now that my kids are growing up. Having my own pets, I know it is hard to leave town. It's essential to find someone who is responsible, thoughtful, honest, and gentle to watch over them. I look forward to meeting with you and your pets to help alleviate your concerns. I am a stay-at-home parent, to older children, so my schedule is very flexible. I look forward to working with you to create a schedule that supports everyone! I believe in the Golden Rule. I will care for your pet(s) just as I would expect someone to care for mine. Before scheduling our first pet sitting appointment, I would like to meet with you and your pet in order to understand your pets' schedules and needs. If I am visiting your pets at your home, is there anything small I can help you with? Maybe you want your trash bins brought in, or your mail picked up?

Work from home, single adult with no children or pets(yet🤣) able to walk local with lots of parks and trails if longer walks are desired. Two level condominium so stairs are required unless smaller and I can pick up to go out, able to give medications, baths, nails and lots and lots of love.

About: Hi! My name is Haley and I am 26 years old. I grew up in New Milford, CT and moved to NC for school. I just recently moved back to New Milford after completing my Master’s at UNCW. North Carolina was where I joined Rover and fell in love with the opportunity to help the local area with pet care! I love all animals! I have an 8 year old boxer mix named Koby and a 5 year old golden retriever named Miloh. We spend our days at the beach, park, eating treats, playing tug of war, speaking the doggy language, and cuddling of course! I have grown up around pets my entire life and could not imagine a life without them. I will follow your daily routine the closest I can and apply the discipline you enforce with your dog on a daily basis. I will make sure the experience your dog has is fun, targeted to their specific needs, and give your dog the love and affection you would to make them as comfortable as possible. My goal is to make your dog feel loved and make sure they are happy the entire time they spend with me. I love all dogs, big or small, and enjoy creating relationships with them. I’m a certified sitter with 30+ years of hands-on experience and currently enrolled in an accredited, science based dog training program. I specialize in dogs who need a little extra help...anxious pups, first time boarders, high energy dogs, and dogs who get overwhelmed in new environments. I’m patient, observant, and focused on helping them feel safe, understood, and supported instead of just “tired out.” Your dog won’t be lost in a crowded, chaotic “yard free-for-all.” I host a low number of dogs at once so I can actually watch body language, manage energy, and keep routines consistent. Each dog gets individualized attention and a calm environment where they can settle and feel at home. Pet care is my full-time work, so your dog’s routine becomes my routine. Meals, walks, enrichment, rest, and any training cues you already use are followed consistently. Keeping things predictable helps dogs...especially anxious or reactive ones settle in fast and stay comfortable. My home is structured, supervised, and calm...not a pack play setup or unsupervised backyard chaos. Dogs get proper introductions, clear boundaries, and a predictable routine so they feel secure. I tailor the environment to each dog: decompression time, quiet areas, supervised social time only when appropriate, and no forced interactions. Dogs are always supervised, with thoughtful structure designed to prevent overstimulation or unsafe situations. Every dog is treated like a family member, not part of a random pack.

About: I've been working at an animal hospital for 20+ years and have been managing the grooming and boarding facility there for 15+ years. I have worked with cats and all ages, temperaments, and breeds of dogs. Besides the professional experience, I have always loved animals, lived with family dogs and cats my entire life, and am well suited for caring for your pets, too! My husband has been a dog dad for 15+ years (and a bird dad as well) and has over a decade of professional experience with dogs in the boarding and grooming section of an animal hospital. Between the two of us, at least one of us is home every day - we would love to provide a home away from home for your pet! Our goal is to provide the most compassionate, safe, and responsible care for your pet. Our house is set back from the road on 100+ acres of conservation land where we can hike and explore with your dog. Our house is roomy and comfortable, and we strive to provide whatever your dog needs. We also value enrichment for pets - we hope your dog will learn, grow, and be stimulated while with us. We also live right next door to my father, who is a veterinarian and available for any questions we might have. We have a new addition to our family and welcomed in a baby boy in June 2025. Since then, we are accepting new clients with smaller dogs and sometimes larger dogs if they are older or laid back. We do have a soft spot for our older guests and love to keep them comfortable and pampered. We live in a one story house, so there are minimal steps. We try to mimic your own schedule at home. And one of us is home every day so we're able to provide the best care possible. We have a small fenced in area outside our front door, mostly for safety in coming in and out of the house. Outside of that area, I leash walk your dogs (until we have a larger fenced in area). We have gates inside to give dogs their own space if/when they want it. If you pet is more comfortable in a crate during bedtimes or short times alone, we can provide that as well. We are diligent regarding medication, feeding instructions, and medical concerns. We also will keep you up to date on how the stay is going and welcome you to reach out anytime.

Not a problem, I love snuggles! Don't let your dog on the furniture? Not a problem, I will be sure to enforce any rules you have set as to not confuse them once they arrive back home. I have a wonderful cat named Peanut. Who stays to herself for the most part. I do ask that your dog is friendly or non-reactive to cats. I want everyone's stay to be as pleasant as possible for all parties involved.
