About: I've owned and cared for 9 dogs throughout my life, ranging from tiny Maltese and other small breeds to large Saint Bernard's. Every dog I've had has been treated like family, and I bring that same level of love, patience, and care to every pet I look after. Whether it's playtime, walks, feeding, or cuddles, I'll care for your pet as if they were my own. I work from home and have a very flexible schedule, which allows me to provide plenty of attention, playtime, and supervision throughout the day. I have a pup of my own, and we stay active with daily walks, outdoor time, and enrichment activities. Whether your pet needs a quick check-in or regular walks, I can adjust my schedule to meet their needs and keep them comfortable, happy, and well cared for. How I care for your pet depends entirely on how you'd like me to support them and what makes them most comfortable. In my home, pets are treated like family and receive lots of attention, exercise, and affection. While I do not have a fenced-in yard, all outdoor time is supervised, and dogs will be leash-walked unless they have a proven, reliable recall. I am also happy to follow your pet's existing routines, feeding schedules, training preferences, and any special care instructions in either my home or yours.

About: I am a veterinary technician, I take care of dogs, and cats. I have 3 dogs, 2 cats, a guinea pig, fish and 2 pet pigs myself. I have been in the vet field for about 10 years I work part time currently, I work 2 days a week, so I will have plenty of time with your pets, they will get a lot of attention while staying with me I don’t have a fenced in yard, but I will take your pets out on leash. I have 3 dogs to keep your pets company while you’re away. I will crate in the event that I have to leave my house during the day. I will crate at night if the owner prefers that

About: 4 years of experience working at a veterinarian office and lifetime pet owner with no current pets. Let me care for your pet like I cared for mine. Work from home, single adult with no children or pets(yet🤣) able to walk local with lots of parks and trails if longer walks are desired. Two level condominium so stairs are required unless smaller and I can pick up to go out, able to give medications, baths, nails and lots and lots of love.

About: Hi! My name is Haley and I am 26 years old. I grew up in New Milford, CT and moved to NC for school. I just recently moved back to New Milford after completing my Master’s at UNCW. North Carolina was where I joined Rover and fell in love with the opportunity to help the local area with pet care! I love all animals! I have an 8 year old boxer mix named Koby and a 5 year old golden retriever named Miloh. We spend our days at the beach, park, eating treats, playing tug of war, speaking the doggy language, and cuddling of course! I have grown up around pets my entire life and could not imagine a life without them. I will follow your daily routine the closest I can and apply the discipline you enforce with your dog on a daily basis. I will make sure the experience your dog has is fun, targeted to their specific needs, and give your dog the love and affection you would to make them as comfortable as possible. My goal is to make your dog feel loved and make sure they are happy the entire time they spend with me. I love all dogs, big or small, and enjoy creating relationships with them. I would love to meet your furry best friend and if they are good with other dogs, I would love to bring my little fur babies around for some good fun and exercise. About: I am a mom to three human children, six dogs, two cats, and three horses. When my kids were younger, my "me time" was spent volunteering for various rescues and shelters. I love taking care of animals and found so much satisfaction helping out those poor little creatures who had no home to call their own! I loved it so much that I decided to start my own 501c3 nonprofit animal rescue! I figured that in doing so, I could help on a way bigger scale! Additionally, I could put more efforts in to helping people through the love of animals in need! Making the adoption process easy and fun, and making sure the humans and the pets are a wonderful match have made my rescue quite successful! Over the past 11 years I have rescued thousands of dogs, hundreds of cats, and three horses from shelters and other high risk situations! Throughout my years of taking care of pets, I have care for basically every age, breed, size, and temperament! I have also provided care on just about every level...from administering meds, IV treatments, vaccines, basic grooming, and basic training/behavior modifications. I joined Rover because I want to continue helping animals and support pet owners who need someone they can truly trust. I understand how important it is to know your pet is safe, comfortable, and cared for like family while you’re away. Being able to provide that peace of mind is something I take seriously. Every pet has unique needs, routines, and personalities. My goal is to provide consistent, attentive care while maintaining the structure and comfort your pet is used to. About: I have had dogs since I was born. I have taken care of them throughout their life, from puppy to senior. I have dog sat for many family friends and family throughout my life. I went to an ag high school and was enrolled in the vet tech program. I have handled many different animals, as well as many different ages and needs. This includes senior massages and bathing, administering medicine, feeding, exercising various animals from horses to rats. If you have any questions, please reach out. About: I've been working at an animal hospital for 20+ years and have been managing the grooming and boarding facility there for 15+ years. I have worked with cats and all ages, temperaments, and breeds of dogs. Besides the professional experience, I have always loved animals, lived with family dogs and cats my entire life, and am well suited for caring for your pets, too! My husband has been a dog dad for 15+ years (and a bird dad as well) and has over a decade of professional experience with dogs in the boarding and grooming section of an animal hospital. Between the two of us, at least one of us is home every day - we would love to provide a home away from home for your pet! Our goal is to provide the most compassionate, safe, and responsible care for your pet. Our house is set back from the road on 100+ acres of conservation land where we can hike and explore with your dog. Our house is roomy and comfortable, and we strive to provide whatever your dog needs. We also value enrichment for pets - we hope your dog will learn, grow, and be stimulated while with us. We also live right next door to my father, who is a veterinarian and available for any questions we might have. We have a new addition to our family and welcomed in a baby boy in June 2025. Since then, we are accepting new clients with smaller dogs and sometimes larger dogs if they are older or laid back. We do have a soft spot for our older guests and love to keep them comfortable and pampered. We live in a one story house, so there are minimal steps. We try to mimic your own schedule at home. And one of us is home every day so we're able to provide the best care possible. We have a small fenced in area outside our front door, mostly for safety in coming in and out of the house. Outside of that area, I leash walk your dogs (until we have a larger fenced in area). We have gates inside to give dogs their own space if/when they want it. If you pet is more comfortable in a crate during bedtimes or short times alone, we can provide that as well. We are diligent regarding medication, feeding instructions, and medical concerns. We also will keep you up to date on how the stay is going and welcome you to reach out anytime.

Since that time, in addition to raising our human family, we have added many furry, finned, and feathered members to our home. While my ten-year-old Havanese is my "Best Boy;" I am "House Mom" to the other pets in our family. I’m a sitter with formal training in dog behavior, and I’m currently continuing my education through an accredited, science based training program. My approach goes beyond basic pet sitting, I focus on structure, clear boundaries, and reading behavior to prevent issues before they start. I specialize in dogs that need structure and guidance, whether that’s anxious dogs, easily overstimulated dogs, or dogs adjusting to a new environment. My focus is helping dogs stay calm, regulated, and comfortable, not just physically tired. Every dog is handled intentionally and with clear structure, not as part of a chaotic group setting. Pet care is my full-time work, so your dog’s routine becomes part of my routine. Meals, walks, rest, enrichment, and any training cues you already use are followed as consistently as possible. I keep things structured and predictable so dogs, especially anxious, reactive, or easily overstimulated ones, can settle in and feel secure. My home is structured, supervised, and calm, not a chaotic group setup or a free for all. Dogs are introduced thoughtfully, given clear boundaries, and supported with a predictable routine so they feel safe and secure. I tailor the environment to each dog, including decompression time, quiet space, and supervised social time only when appropriate. My focus is always on behavior, safety, and preventing overstimulation or unsafe situations. My approach is best suited for dogs who can follow structure and benefit from a calm, well-managed environment. I am not a good fit for dogs that rely on constant high energy group play or a completely unstructured routine.
