“Dileidy and her husband were so kind and took such great care of our dog Lucy! We were nervous about leaving her close to the 4th of July, but they put us at ease and checked in and sent photos, and we’re accommodating when we had to pick her up a little later. Thank you both!”

“Rose and Michael took great care of our 10 month old cavapoo. They sent lots of pictures and updates during his 3 day stay. We will definitely be using them again.”

“Amber was great with Ollie while I had to do something during the day. Took photos and kept a good eye on Ollie while I was gone. She was flexible and communicative. Highly recommend and would use again if in the are”

About: Our family loves our pets, and I'll love yours too while you are away. My husband and I adopted our first black Lab in 2001, when she was eight years old. She was our first baby. Since that time, in addition to raising our human family, we have added many furry, finned, and feathered members to our home. While my ten-year-old Havanese is my "Best Boy;" I am "House Mom" to the other pets in our family. I love the time in the day I spend with my pets and look forward to spreading that love to other animals as I have more free time now that my kids are growing up. Having my own pets, I know it is hard to leave town. It's essential to find someone who is responsible, thoughtful, honest, and gentle to watch over them. I look forward to meeting with you and your pets to help alleviate your concerns. I am a stay-at-home parent, to older children, so my schedule is very flexible. I look forward to working with you to create a schedule that supports everyone! I believe in the Golden Rule. I will care for your pet(s) just as I would expect someone to care for mine. Before scheduling our first pet sitting appointment, I would like to meet with you and your pet in order to understand your pets' schedules and needs. If I am visiting your pets at your home, is there anything small I can help you with? Maybe you want your trash bins brought in, or your mail picked up?
About: I’ve been taking care of dogs for the past 8 years. Friends, family, and neighbors can rely on me to take care of their pets I am currently available any day and time during the week that works best for your busy schedule. I have plenty of time to play. I have a decent sized yard with two friendly dogs to help keep your pup company. I can crate and leash if needed for safety
About: As an avid animal lover it is my duty to make sure all dogs in my care are treated as part of the family. I have owned dogs and cats my whole life and know how stressful it can be to leave them with a stranger. I take great pride and joy in caring for others. I am a mom to my sweet daughter who absolutely loves having furry companions to run around with. I provide daily walks, leads, and a fenced in area for outside play. Toys, treats, water/food bowls and tons of TLC. Inside, my home is their home. I treat all my furry guests as they would be treated by you! Is your dog use to sleeping in your bed? Not a problem, I love snuggles! Don't let your dog on the furniture? Not a problem, I will be sure to enforce any rules you have set as to not confuse them once they arrive back home. I have a wonderful cat named Peanut. Who stays to herself for the most part. I do ask that your dog is friendly or non-reactive to cats. I want everyone's stay to be as pleasant as possible for all parties involved. I look forward to meeting you and your pup :) I’ve also created an Instagram page if you would like to see more pictures and follow your pups stay at Justlikehome_ct Pet care if my full time job. All dogs in my care are let out frequently. At least every 4 hours. Can be sooner if needed. All pets in my home are treated as part of the family. With the same amount of love and care that I give to my own.

About: Hi! My name is Haley and I am 26 years old. I grew up in New Milford, CT and moved to NC for school. I just recently moved back to New Milford after completing my Master’s at UNCW. North Carolina was where I joined Rover and fell in love with the opportunity to help the local area with pet care! I love all animals! I have an 8 year old boxer mix named Koby and a 5 year old golden retriever named Miloh. We spend our days at the beach, park, eating treats, playing tug of war, speaking the doggy language, and cuddling of course! I have grown up around pets my entire life and could not imagine a life without them. I will follow your daily routine the closest I can and apply the discipline you enforce with your dog on a daily basis. I will make sure the experience your dog has is fun, targeted to their specific needs, and give your dog the love and affection you would to make them as comfortable as possible. My goal is to make your dog feel loved and make sure they are happy the entire time they spend with me. I love all dogs, big or small, and enjoy creating relationships with them. I would love to meet your furry best friend and if they are good with other dogs, I would love to bring my little fur babies around for some good fun and exercise. Whatever you need I am there and willing to work around not only the needs of your pet but you as well! I currently am working full time at my home. I have a flexible work schedule and would be able to step out multiple times a day to take care of your pet! I will follow whatever routine you feel is best for your pet / pets while you are away! I have been doing this a long time and have seen it all when it comes to the preferences people have on the care of their pets. No request is too much when it comes to our pets! I currently work from home and have plenty of free time on my hands. I am very flexible and open to helping however I can! I have grown up around pets and have had both of my dogs since they were puppies. They have been up and down the east coast with me during every trip home, move, etc. They are my best friends. Your best friend will be treated exactly how I would want someone to treat mine if I was away!

“Ziggy had a great time spending the day with Jaylese for doggy daycare! They went on a nice walk and Ziggy came back happy and sleepy. She accepted my request last minute and was a breeze to work with - highly reccomend!”

“Excellent sitter! My 4 month old puppy had a blast and Isabel was super about sending multiple pictures throughout the day. Awesome environment and home for a doggy day care. Definitely recommend.”
About: Dogs thrive on calm structure, and that’s exactly what I provide. I’m a certified sitter with 30+ years of hands-on experience and currently enrolled in an accredited, science based dog training program. I specialize in dogs who need a little extra help...anxious pups, first time boarders, high energy dogs, and dogs who get overwhelmed in new environments. I’m patient, observant, and focused on helping them feel safe, understood, and supported instead of just “tired out.” Your dog won’t be lost in a crowded, chaotic “yard free-for-all.” I host a low number of dogs at once so I can actually watch body language, manage energy, and keep routines consistent. Each dog gets individualized attention and a calm environment where they can settle and feel at home. Pet care is my full-time work, so your dog’s routine becomes my routine. Meals, walks, enrichment, rest, and any training cues you already use are followed consistently. Keeping things predictable helps dogs...especially anxious or reactive ones settle in fast and stay comfortable. My home is structured, supervised, and calm...never a pack play setup or unsupervised backyard chaos. Dogs get proper intros, clear boundaries, and a predictable routine so they feel secure. I tailor the environment to each dog: decompression time, quiet areas, supervised social time only when appropriate, and no forced interactions. Safety comes first. No smoke, no crowds, no off-leash yards, and no situations where dogs can get overstimulated or escape. Every dog is treated like a family member, not part of a random pack.
“Laura couldn't have been sweeter and more attentive to our little Havanese, Cleo. Shy as she is, she clearly picked up on Laura's very gentle nature and warmed right up to her. We live in NYC but had Cleo stay with her while my daughter and I were in the area to spend some time on Candlewood Lake. I only wished we lived closer so we could take advantage of having Laura watch Cleo more often!”

“Zarah has been great! She's been very flexible with my drop off and pick up times for Loki and Loki always comes back happy! He gets plenty of exercise there so he's nice and calm when I get him in the evenings. Would definitely recommend!”

About: Grew up on a farm caring for animals since my youth. now enjoy the company of visiting dogs, just like I had with my own. I currently work part-time and many situations able to bring a boarding dog with me; as I work with mostly older folks who would love the sweetness of a dog visit; considered therapy. I have a side fenced yard, safe from the road, and only do private walks in a comfortable grass field near my home, leashed and one at a time for individual attention.
