I am available for ongoing long-term set schedules as well as flexible schedules for pet sitting. My schedule allows me to check in morning, midday, and/or late afternoons/evenings. About: Hello! My name is Nita, and I’m a lifelong animal lover who would be delighted to care for your pets as if they were my own. Over the years, I’ve had experience caring for dogs, cats, birds, fish, guinea pigs, and even mice. Our beloved Border Collie, Jasmine, was part of our family for 12 wonderful years, and she gave us countless happy memories. I also regularly cared for my grand dog a sweet Lab mix, Benny. I currently share my home with our spirited lovebird, Gourdon Loveblossom, who is 3½ years old. We even had a goldfish named Goldie who recently passed away amazingly at 23 years old! I’m also a proud “grand-cat” sitter for HB and Kenny in Monroe. They especially enjoy being pushed around the neighborhood in their stroller on beautiful days. I walk a minimum of 10,000 steps every day and would truly enjoy having furry companions join me for walks and outdoor time. I look forward to meeting you and your wonderful pets! I have a part time voiceover and photo businesses that I run from my home in Roxbury. I frequently care for my children's pets. I am reliable and punctual, I prefer to live in the same area nearby to my clients. I like to keep my pet care visits in a 10-ish mile radius of my home. This enables me to get to them fast without worrying about traffic, distance or delays.

About: I am a mom to three human children, three dogs, and three horses. When my kids were younger, my "me time" was spent volunteering for various rescues and shelters. I love taking care of animals and found so much satisfaction helping out those poor little creatures who had no home to call their own! I loved it so much that I decided to start my own 501c3 nonprofit animal rescue! I figured that in doing so, I could help on a way bigger scale! Additionally, I could put more efforts in to helping people through the love of animals in need! Making the adoption process easy and fun, and making sure the humans and the pets are a wonderful match have made my rescue quite successful! Over the past 11 years I have rescued thousands of dogs, hundreds of cats, and three horses from shelters and other high risk situations! Throughout my years of taking care of pets, I have care for basically every age, breed, size, and temperament! I have also provided care on just about every level...from administering meds, IV treatments, vaccines, basic grooming, and basic training/behavior modifications. I joined Rover because I want to continue helping animals and support pet owners who need someone they can truly trust. I understand how important it is to know your pet is safe, comfortable, and cared for like family while you’re away. Being able to provide that peace of mind is something I take seriously. Every pet has unique needs, routines, and personalities. My goal is to provide consistent, attentive care while maintaining the structure and comfort your pet is used to. My schedule has a lot of flexibility, and I am a full-time caregiver for these sweet babies! I will always do my best to be available for you and your furry family members! Pets in my home have my full supervision, and when I am unable to have my eye on them, they are either crated or in their own safe space! Our yard is fully fenced!

About: I am a semi retired veterinary assistant with nearly 20 years professional experience and a passion for caring for animals. As a life long pet owner myself, I know how hard and stressful it can be to leave your pets at home. I appreciate and respect the trust that every owner puts in me when they contact me to care for their animal. I can give medications if needed, including injections. Also have worked in shelters and volunteer at rescues. I have taken care of senior dogs and cats. Feeding, walking, playing or if they have any special needs is not a problem. I have a flexible schedule and open to working with you to arrange drop in visits. Mid morning through later afternoons are open for me. If you need another time, just let me know. I'm happy to do whatever your pets need, whether they want to play, walk or just hang out. If they are a little shy and need time to get used to me is totally understandable, I will follow their cues. I will take my time to learn what they need and adapt to them. The goal is always to keep them as stress free as possible.

About: I have several years of experience with all types of animals. I have spent a lot of timing researching and helping animals who need it, and I have even taken classes on animal care and behavior. I love animals and they always have, and will be, a big part of my life. My schedule does vary, but it is flexible. Monday evenings, tuesdays, Friday evenings, Saturday, and Sunday especially, I am generally available. I will always try to fit your pets in! Although I can not offer boarding, your pets safety and happiness is of the upmost importance. I will work based off of what your pet is expressing to me and what you tell me, combined with my own experience to keep everybody safe and happy!

About: I previously co-founded a dog training business, managing client relationships and operations, but I have since stepped away from it. Prior to that, I worked for Coaching for Paws, a renowned dog training business in northern Connecticut. I have been working with dogs for around five years and have experience with training basic obedience, dog walking, dog sitting, and overall care. I currently have most weekdays free to dedicate to your pups’ needs, which allows me to provide consistent attention, care, and companionship throughout the day. Pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine, and I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals, whether that means going on walks, playing, feeding, or simply keeping them company. Because of my flexible schedule, I am able to accommodate different care needs and maintain reliable routines for pets, helping them feel comfortable, safe, and well cared for while their owners are away. About: I love all kinds of dogs; big and sporty (love those), gentle giants, puppies, goofy, old and slow, small and mighty. I just love them all. I've been working with animals for 11 years now. I've done it all Between dog sitting, bathing, grooming,walking and just having my own pets. It's been both an amazing and very fulfilling experience. I've always loved working with and being surrounded by animals. I'll make your pet feel right at home in mine. Fur on the furniture is a okay and expected! All day cuddles are my favorite even if the lap dog doesn't exactly fit in your lap haha. I'm available all day for booking requests even last minute. I lead a very active lifestyle so walking is always fun but can also take it slow with the older ones. I have a huge fenced in backyard and I’m home all day with your pup. I offer custom rates for extended stays and weekly daycare/walks. I also can care for other pets in your home as well with experience in; chinchillas, rabbit, ferrets, sugar glider, hedgehogs, hamsters, rat/mice, guinea pigs and various reptile. I also keep those plant babies alive as well! I’m available all day. I can work from anywhere because I have a pretty flexible schedule. My whole day revolves around caring for all kinds animals. I have a huge fenced in yard parking for lounging and tiring out the active pup. In your home I will treat them like my own and leave your home better than I found it.

About: I have 2 labs (1 lab German Shepard mix and 1 lab), who love to play and romp around, as well as the finer things in life like relaxation.My working schedule allows me to work from home full time, huge plus for the pups and kiddos. We travel about once a year for 2 weeks, and mostly spend our time in town as our boys do sports. I was a dog walker and sitter for 2 years in college, had a dog growing up as a child and I’ve rescued and adopted 5 pups with my husband. Since I'm use to the early mornings, walking the fur babies early is not a problem. I believe a tired dog is a happy dog and I try to make sure they get as much play time and attention as needed. Treating the fur babies as family members, means they have their beds, own couch, toys and free range in our house.

About: Hi, I’m Steph and I am a senior Veterinary Nursing major currently working in practice at as vet assistant in Shelton. Most of our classes have hands-on training and scenarios which translate into real world veterinary skills. I have been in the field for about 6 years now, I started volunteering at a local SPCA and immediately fell in love and knew that I wanted to work with animals forever! During my time as a vet nursing student I have completed courses such as Animal Disease & Nutrition, Anatomy & Physiology, Pharmacology, Parasitology, Radiology, Surgical Nursing and more! I have been able to worked in multiple animal care environments including veterinary hospitals, daycares, and shelters. Caring for animals and being able to help and care for them when other people can’t is truly my passion and what keeps me going in my field of work! All bookings can easily fit around my school schedule. Right now I am only taking a couple courses, so I am very flexible! I prefer to not stay at a clients home full time for days in a row, however again I can be flexible with the circumstances :) I live in an apartment complex that is animal friendly, I am a little OCD so my place is kept pretty tidy. I have a terrier/mix Cooper and a cat Reid who free roam the apartment at all times we have never had to crate either of them, but can if necessary(Also can separate cat if your pet isn’t cat friendly). Both are fed and cooper is walked relatively at the same times everyday, and are up to date on their exams & vaccinations (paperwork available). In other clients home I make it my priority to respect the wishes of the client. I understand everyone has their own way of doings things and that’s completely okay! I always keep my front door locked at home so I am very good at remembering to lock up after I leave.
