“Saori has been so patient and caring with our Pomsky puppy. Since we work from home, I was concerned he wasn’t socializing enough and of course he has lots of energy. Daycare with Saori will be a big help in our journey together. We got really lucky finding her right from the start.”

“Pam was great. She posted a lot of pictures to let us know Luna was having fun and communicated daily. You could tell she had a lot of experience with dogs and with petting sitting/boarding. We would definitely use Pam again for the next time we go out of town.”
“Jessica was great! Willow seemed like she loved staying there, was well taken care of and met some new friends. Very responsive to any questions that we had. We would love to have Jessica watch her again. Overall this was great as this is our first time using Rover.”

“Wow, Valerie was amazing. I knew my dogs and cat were in good care. She sent us photos throughout the ENTIRE stay and it made me feel so comfortable. My family was worried about leaving our pets with a 'stranger' but Valerie didnt feel like that to us. Her property was GORGEOUS! and had so much room for the puppies to run around and play. They were all tired out and we could tell by the photos she sent us of our dogs sleeping. My cat was also welcomed and had a nice time too. 11/10”
“Our second time leaving our dog with Elizabeth and everything went so smooth. It is a great comfort knowing he is being taken such good care of. We will be leaving him again soon! Thank you Elizabeth!”

“Cassandra & Nolan took excellent care of my Rosie girl while I was on a day trip to NYC. Frequent walks, cuddles, playtime, and plenty of photo updates. She enjoyed taking part in their holiday celebration! I will definitely book them again next time I'm in CT.”

“Our Bérneise Mountain dog-Otto had a wonderful visit with Jen & her family. It was wonderful to go away knowing he's happy and so welled cared for. Thanks again Jen!”

“Bruce took great care of Rory! She got lots of time to walk and play in the snow and also plenty of time to laze around inside and take naps, perfect for her needs.”

“We had a great experience with Kate! Our dog, Sampson, stayed in her home and was very well cared for. Communication was easy and consistent, and we felt completely comfortable knowing our pup was in good hands. Sampson is pretty easygoing, but it was clear he was treated with attention and kindness. We will definitely book with them again.”

“Communication was awesome prior to drop off. Nice fenced in yard. Very easygoing caretaker. My dog felt comfortable upon meeting her snd 1 of her dogs. Would DEF utilize again & refer”

“Such a great, loving family. They were very sweet and accommodating of my pups needs. They updated me with pictures daily and let me know how he was settling in. Overall, a really great experience and will definitely use them again in the future ❤️!”

“Sue was great. Really patient and accommodating. My pup was returned to me happy and healthy. Her husband was also very nice and they both seemed very confident and comfortable with my pup who’s a 48lb pittie. Thank you Sue and Franky. We appreciated your care and attention to our fur baby. Sue also sent regular selfies of the pup and was quick to reply to messages.”

“Great guy!! Amazing with dogs. Our dog had a blast. He sent us lots of pics and videos to see how much fun they were having. Will be using him to watch our dog every time we go on vacation. Thanks Rich!”
About: I’ve loved dogs for as long as I can remember and grew up in a family that always had dogs. Caring for animals has always been a natural part of my life. We currently have Bailey, our sweet and gentle Bernese Mountain Dog, as well as a Ragdoll cat, Jades who is also very much part of our family. I love spending time with animals, whether it’s going for walks, visiting the dog park, playing outside, or simply giving them plenty of attention and affection at home. I’m comfortable around dogs of different sizes and personalities and generally connect with them very easily. Our pets are treated like family, and I would care for your pet with the same patience, attention, and kindness I give my own. I work from home most days, which gives me plenty of flexibility to care for your pet throughout the day. I’m available for walks, playtime, feeding, and lots of attention and companionship. I’m also available on weekends and can be flexible based on your pet’s normal routine and needs. Your pet’s safety and comfort are very important to me. We have a gentle and friendly Bernese Mountain Dog named Bailey and a Ragdoll cat at home, and our pets are truly part of our family. I always take the time to learn each pet’s personality, routine, feeding schedule, and individual needs. I provide plenty of supervision, attention, walks, playtime, and a loving, comfortable environment so your pet can feel at home while in my care.
“They accomdated us last minute when a previous booking didn't work out. 3 small dogs including a very senior dog with strong seperation anxiety. Managed it all so well; very patient, gentle and kind with all of them. Very grateful!”

“Hazard took amazing care of my two cats. She sent daily photos and videos and even cute report cards. You can tell the cats were well cared for because they did not appear scared or anxious, she even had a whole room full of toys and scratches for them to feel at home.”

“Kara did a great job taking care of my babies. She not only babysat them, she took them on a field trip (literally) and played with them. One of my dogs got dirty from playing in the field, and she took the time to bath him. I appreciate her so much and will be using her again.”

Another excellent booking with Tierna. She is amazing with my elderly, crazy, dog-reactive dogs. Also, I can tell that she loves them and appreciates their specialness, which is so nice and comforting when I'm missing them. Her photos and updates are wonderful. She's just excellent. I feel so so good leaving them with her. Thank you so much, Tierna!
TLDR: Definitely book Tierna to watch your dog(s). She is EXCELLENT. I have two old, yappy, other dog-hating maltese mixes. I've never left them before. Tierna made sure they were her only client for my 11 day trip. Also, she doesn't have her own dog which is KEY and hard to find. She was loving, funny, communicative, and made me feel like my dogs were valued and loved and taken care of. Her updates were hilarious and touching. My dogs felt safe and WE felt safe on their behalf. She's wonderful. I can't say enough good things and I would use her again in a heartbeat.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
