Information Julie B. would like to know about your pet
Creating the continuity they are accustomed to in your absence is my ultimate goal. The more information you can provide me about your pet’s personality and preferences will help me cater my care to their individual needs. ence. It’s my goal to make your dog as comfortable and calm as possible. It’s important that your pet be able to endure short periods of time alone. (90 min max) If your pet experiences separation anxiety we can discuss availability based on the duration of stay required and my schedule. Note: I require proof of current vaccinations before your departure. A picture of your pet’s vaccination paperwork from your veterinarian is sufficient.
A typical day
For my drop-in or dog walking customers I will spend quality time with them indoors and a quick potty break (drop-in) and outdoors (dog walking) to maximize their enjoyment and sensory enrichment during my visit. For my house sitting customers I will research suitable walks in your area that will allow optimum exposure to all that nature offers. New smells and environs will be explored daily for one long walk a day and a minimum of two shorter walks in the morning and evening depending on their exercise requirements and stamina.

Calm & Dependable Animal Lover!
Pet care experience
Nothing makes me happier than to be in the presence of an animal. I will care for your fur baby with the utmost attention and sensitivity they require. I raised my chocolate lab and trained him as a therapy dog to come with me as a hospice volunteer. As he aged, I administered Adequan on a monthly basis to help ease his joint pain. Your pets will be in the best of hands while you are away.

Reviews

Leaving my sweet dog Lulu in someone else’s care is never easy, but from the moment we met Julie, I knew she was in the best hands. Julie treated Lulu with such patience, kindness, and respect for her pace and needs—it was clear this was not “just a job,” but genuine care. Lulu was comfortable, calm, and clearly adored. I received thoughtful updates and photos that showed not just that she was safe, but that she was happy. Every detail mattered, from her routine to her quirks, and that level of attentiveness gave me complete peace of mind. Coming home to a relaxed, content Lulu meant everything to me. Finding someone I trust for my fur baby is invaluable, and I am so grateful to have found a sitter who truly understands and honors the bond we have with our pets. I would recommend Julie without hesitation to anyone—especially those who treat their pets like a true family member.
Julie is the most reliable, pleasant and accommodating pet sitter I've ever had. I have a dog (Sweet Pea) and cat (Sumo Bear) and have had Julie visit them for feeding and loving on multiple occasions. It's hard for me to leave them when I travel for work, and Julie makes it so much easier by staying in consistent touch with pictures to let me know they're ok. She hasn't missed a single scheduled visit. I've never seen Sweet Pea and Sumo Bear warm up to anyone faster. I'm convinced she's a fury friend whisperer! I trust Julie 100% and feel safe knowing she will love them and take care of them while I'm away.
Run! Don't walk to choose Julie for pet care. No words exist to express how much I trust Julie to care for my pets or anyone's pets. She's the first person I call to help take care of my cat and dog because she's so attentive and tuned into their needs. I almost feel like she knows what they need before they do. She's gentle, extremely conscientious, loving, has consistently sound judgement, and adapts her care to what pets need. I'd also trust her impeccably if something out of the ordinary happened while I was away to keep my pets safe and cared for. She communicates with me regularly to let me know they're ok and sends pictures and videos. Sometimes I think my pets would rather stay with her when I pick them up! Any four-legged friend (and person for that matter) is very lucky to cross her path.
Julie has taken care of both of my dogs over the last 15 years. I would highly recommend her as a pet sitter for anyone lucky enough to use her! She showed them all the love and care that I do as their owner and was attentive to all of their needs. She fed them, she walked them, and she loved them as her own. I cannot say enough, good things about Julie and the care she gave for my pets.
