About: I've taken care of dogs of every kind since I was a kid. Neighbors, friends and family have relied on me to walk, feed and bathe their pets while they were away or needed time out. I also have experience in the medical side of things as well! I currently have goats and chickens that I take care of mornings and evenings on weekdays. I am available between 10am- 4pm on weekdays and all day on weekends! I have a small studio with just me in it! A huge yard and a lot of walking trails near by! I will also send pictures and videos to keep your mind at ease.

About: My name is Alicen. I have been around animals all of my life. I naturally love dogs. It's always been easy for them and I to get along and training is like second nature. Me and the dogs I care for have a great time in and out. I have access to several dog parks and walking trails for the best dog walking experience. I currently have three well behaved dogs in my household. I do well bringing them places I go, and if they can't come for the ride, then they have a comfortable place to be. I know what it takes to love a pup! I will make sure your furry family member has been well taken care of and follow all instructions given in regards to their care. I care for your doggies diet, I’m experienced with elder dogs and am able to accommodate dogs with disabilities. I also may provide pictures to help promote my dog walking business. Lots of fun, snuggles included! I have a nice, flexible schedule and alert to my phone. I recently have had a gap open up in my schedule and looking to fill that with productive walks and lots of attention for your pup. I have a fenced in yard and three friendly dogs to keep your companion company. I can easily crate your dog if needed. In my home I have certain rules to reinforce and your pets will be safely exposed to new things.
About: There are multiple reasons why I would be the perfect person to take care of your pet! I worked at Guiding eyes for the Blind where I helped train and care for labs and German shepherds. I have worked at a dog kennel and a veterinary center where I provide top care to the client's pets. I aid dogs ranging from puppies to seniors, healthy to unwell, teacup to gigantic. I have also dog sat for multiple friends for days on end. I currently have a 14 year old lab mix that I have taken care of since I was a teenager. I also have a 2 year old lab pup with tons of energy. I prefer to hike my dogs in the woods and let them explore and chase the squirrels. We play fetch and tug of war. I could do the same with your dog! With this experience, I know that dogs need lots of care and love with some fun and snuggles! I am currently going to school to be an ultrasound technician and would love some extra work on the side. My schedule changes with each semester but the best type of study breaks are outside and playing with fur babies. I will follow your instructions closely on how to properly care for your pet. I will make sure that safety is the number one concern to make sure that everyone is well taken care of.

About: I’ve always been comfortable with dogs of all types. I grew up with dogs and have spent my whole life around animals, so caring for them feels natural to me. I’m calm, confident, and make sure to adjust to each dog’s individual needs so they feel safe, understood, and well cared for. I work full‑time during the day, but I’m available in the early mornings and evenings to take care of your pet. That gives me plenty of time for feeding, walks, playtime, or whatever they need before and after work. Mondays are my completely open day, so I’m available all day then for longer visits or extra care. My goal is to ensure your pet feels genuinely cared for. I pay close attention to their routine and what they need, and I make sure they stay comfortable, happy, and relaxed the whole time they’re with me.

“So glad that Anna was available for drop in visits. She did a very good job of taking care of the needs of my two cats over a span of several weeks. Anna is pleasant and conscientious. and the kittens miss her. I look forward to calling on her again when needed.”

“We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter than Kaylee for our dog Nikko while we were away for two weeks. From the very beginning, she went above and beyond to make sure he was not only cared for, but truly loved and engaged. Kaylee spent extra time with Nikko, took him on car rides (which he loves!), and made sure he had both fun and comfort while we were gone. It was clear from the photos and updates—and even more so when we returned—that he really enjoyed his time with her. She treated Nikko like her own, and that kind of care is priceless. We felt completely at ease knowing he was in such good hands. We highly recommend Kaylee and would absolutely book with her again!”

About: Coming from an agricultural background, I have cared for many types of animals; cows, pigs, chicken, cats, fish and of course dogs! I am a reliable and flexible worker who genuinely likes to spend time with animals. From big to small, I love all dogs and would be honored to get to know yours. I would treat your dog as if it were my own; with the love and respect that it deserves. Thank you for taking the time to look at my profile when making this important decision on who will take care of your canine! I am trying to start a side hustle that is more flexible for my schedule! Thank you! About: I’ve had dogs as pets my whole life and I currently have three. My responsibility’s with my dogs are to take them out and on walks, feed them, give them water, play with them, and give them lots of love! I’m looking for a job opportunity to help me pay college expenses and to get work experience. I just graduated high school so I have a lot more free time. A few days during the week I go over to my dads to take the dogs out in the afternoons, to give them water, and to let them out and to play as well. I’m available for walks and for drop in visits starting in the late morning and also afternoons. I can stay for as long as you need me to stay so that your dog has enough time to play and be properly cared for. In my home, I provide and encourage dog safe toys and put away things that could cause harm or get damaged. I provide time for play and also rest. I also provide fresh water and to take them out when needed. If your dog goes in a crate then I am more than capable of handling that as I have done that with my dogs in the past and currently.

“Katie is absolutely amazing! She went above and beyond in caring for my dog. From the moment we connected, her communication was outstanding—she kept me updated with regular messages and photos, which gave me complete peace of mind while I was away. It was clear that she genuinely cared about my dog’s well-being and happiness. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I will 100% be using her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, compassionate, and attentive pet caregiver!”

About: I am a mom to three human children, six dogs, two cats, and three horses. When my kids were younger, my "me time" was spent volunteering for various rescues and shelters. I love taking care of animals and found so much satisfaction helping out those poor little creatures who had no home to call their own! I loved it so much that I decided to start my own 501c3 nonprofit animal rescue! I figured that in doing so, I could help on a way bigger scale! Additionally, I could put more efforts in to helping people through the love of animals in need! Making the adoption process easy and fun, and making sure the humans and the pets are a wonderful match have made my rescue quite successful! Over the past 11 years I have rescued thousands of dogs, hundreds of cats, and three horses from shelters and other high risk situations! Throughout my years of taking care of pets, I have care for basically every age, breed, size, and temperament! I have also provided care on just about every level...from administering meds, IV treatments, vaccines, basic grooming, and basic training/behavior modifications. I joined Rover because I want to continue helping animals and support pet owners who need someone they can truly trust. I understand how important it is to know your pet is safe, comfortable, and cared for like family while you’re away. Being able to provide that peace of mind is something I take seriously. Every pet has unique needs, routines, and personalities. My goal is to provide consistent, attentive care while maintaining the structure and comfort your pet is used to. I also prioritize clear communication so you always feel confident and informed while your pet is in my care. My schedule has a lot of flexibility, and I am a full-time caregiver for these sweet babies! I will always do my best to be available for you and your furry family members! Pets in my home have my full supervision, and when I am unable to have my eye on them, they are either crated or in their own safe space! Our yard is fully fenced!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking.
