About: I have owned my own animals my whole life. I currently have a Doberman who has Addison’s disease and requires daily medication and weekly injections. I worked at a rescue for 3 years when I was in college so I know a lot about dog behavior and care. My husband and I own a small masonry business. I currently assist him on the jobsite when needed but mostly take care of the administrative duties so my schedule is very customizable to your pet care needs I am comfortable working with pets of all ages and in a variety of environments. About: Dogs have always been part of my family, from Beagles to Bullies and up to three in a home at a time. Friends and family have trusted me with caring for their animals on a fairly regular basis doing anything from food/bathroom check-ins to walks and dog park visits. Experienced walking three medium sized dogs at once. Comfortable with elderly dogs and their needs, including handling seizures and the appropriate care. I'm less experienced with cats but have had and loved them all the same, my only hesitation being allergies from extended exposure to some. Currently open to just about anything. I'm recovering from health issues and have much more free time since losing my dog, they just bring me a ton of joy and caring for them is good for the soul. I'm very affectionate with animals and rely heavily on positive reinforcement/praise, they're very much part of the family and not just pets to me. I understand their physical, mental and emotional requirements and do my best to meet or exceed them. I've always been very interested in psychology and feel that knowledge has been invaluable in my approach to caring for/working with animals.
About: I've had dogs for most of my life, and also have 20+ years of experience with horses. I currently have one horse and two dogs- a smooshy-faced bulldog/mastiff mix and a boxer, both rescued! As a former vet tech of 5 years, my previous experience gives me the expertise to keep your pet healthy and safe, as well as provide medication, and know what to do if there is an emergency. I also have previously worked for a dog training company, and have experience with obedience training, including leash walking! About: Hello! My name is Kaleigh. I’m twenty one years old, and I absolutely adore every fur baby around. It doesn’t matter what animal it is, I love all. I have always been surrounded by guinea pigs, hamsters, chinchillas, birds even. I owned a lot of chickens growing up, only for eggs, and i’ve had so many pups to spend my time with. I have a chihuahua who is a certified service animal, as I am diagnosed with epilepsy. I am medicated for that and all seems well. My boyfriend lives with me and typically comes if I take care of pets, but I can make arrangements if needed, just isn’t preferred because it’s a lot easier for the ride factor. I love to write poetry, make music, I draw frequently, and I went to a technical school for culinary as well. Thank you for reading about me. I currently do not have a full time job. I have worked prior at a camp that helped disabled people and nourishes them in the ways they deserve. I’m a stay at home and I help my mom & dad with my dogs and cats, but i’m free any day of the week, as long as it’s known a day ahead, but I would also take emergencies. I have a fenced in yard, but it’s big enough to where my dogs are able to explore around the yard and look through, so they’re still living their best lives. My chihuahua loves to sit on our porch, it’s the first place she runs to in the morning to lay in the sun. She also loves going on rides and exploring the world, going on adventures.
About: I've always loved and respected animals and I've always had pets. My mom always told me I needed to have a farm when I grew up because I would bring home all sorts of animals. Currently I have a pup named Shiloh. She is a border collie mix that I rescued. We love to go on walks, hikes and car rides. I have a big yard for dogs to enjoy, but my indoor space is smaller, so I am very intentional about keeping the number of dogs low. That means I can focus on your dog’s comfort, safety, and overall experience much more closely. This is a great fit for dogs who do better with a quieter setting and for owners who value quality of care over high-volume boarding or daycare. I generally only take one to a few dogs at a time unless they are from the same household. I have a lot of experience with senior dogs. I took care of my childhood dog for 17 years of her long, beautiful life. I have experience working with small senior dogs specifically and I know all the little things that they appreciate. I also have experience with large dogs and can handle very big strong dogs. I also love hiking with dogs so if you have an energetic dog you need to burn off energy I am your guy. I have an acre yard with a fenced in front yard in a nice area. Any dog that boards with me would be treated like my own dog and let out very frequently to go to the bathroom and play outside. I would always remain home with your dog. Thank you for considering me and I hope to meet your pet soon! I’m currently a fully remote student so I am fully available. If I board a pet I will be with them full time to make sure they receive the care they deserve. I have a fenced in front yard, and a good amount of unfenced land in the back. My dog is very friendly and would keep your pet great company. He loves dogs and cats. I can easily crate your dog if needed, but would love to give your dog the pet experience and treat them like my own. I live in a nice are and have great access to the woods nearby as well.

Hey, I just wanted to give a big shout out to my new pet sitter Madeline I have an old big GreatDane named Murphy Usually, I can make it home for a little break midday to let him out, but work has been crazy lately.I always feel bad that he might be stressing about going out to the bathroom midday. So on a whim, I started researching Rover Sitter’s I really thought it was going to be a process I figured I would reach out to one or two sitters a week and do some meet and greets So I found Madeline on Rover and, she looked kind and caring, and I liked the reviews from legitimately caring pet owners So I reached out to her on Friday, she got back to me within seconds, and suggested that we meet on Saturday Wow, never thought it was going to be that quick I thought I’d have to wait and wait and wait for responses So we plan to meet and greet and I told her that my house was a little hard to find, and GPS always messes everybody up I explained to her what my house looked like Come Saturday, she arrived early, explaining that she wanted to make sure that she found my house I was impressed that somebody was very considerate of my time She came in my house and she was very calm and spoke quietly to him , which is exactly what he is used to I explained my concerns to her and how he was getting older and I worry about him. She had told me how she just recently lost her 13 year-old dachshund, and she understood how hard it is to lose a dog , I was thinking in my head , her dog must of had had a lot of love and good care if it live to be 13 years old so fast-forward to today when she did the drop in visit She sent me pictures, and she sent me a “ Report Card” She told me that she took Murphy outside and then they came inside and she just sat on the couch with him, and petted him and talk to him. Well, that’s exactly what I would’ve done with my old man. I don’t have to look any further and I don’t have to interview any more people because Madeline is the one! I appreciate her sensitivity, her promptness, her pictures, and her report card Thank you, thank you so much, Madeline, you are the best and I appreciate you so much
This was the second time Maddie took care of my Tater. The first time when she dog sat overnight, she was incredibly thorough and responsive and checked in often.
