By volunteering with service dogs, I discovered my passion for all kinds of dogs, big and small. Now, I bring that same warmth and dedication to caring for your pet. My Schedule is Flexible, Reliable, and Full of Love for Your Fur Babies! I work part-time, so I have plenty of time to dedicate to your pets. Most weekdays are wide open for visits, playtime, or overnight stays. Whatever your furry family member needs to feel happy, safe, and loved-i'm your sitter! Anxious or rambunctious, I'm patient and caring. Let’s make sure your pet gets the attention and care they deserve!

About: IMPORTANT— I will be in Connecticut from 12/20-1/3. All other dates I will be in Indiana. Unfortunately there is no way to specify location for specific dates in Rover. If you have any questions please let me know! I have taken care of pets my whole life (my own and others). I have two of my own dogs currently — at 70 lb Shepherd x Dalmatian and a 25 lb Jack Russel x Aussie, both of which can get rowdy so I am no stranger to high energy pets! I am happy to help work on basic commands and will make sure your pet gets plenty of physical and mental exercise! I am a graduate student so my schedule is very flexible when it comes to checking in on pets and I typically like to spend >1 hour with them a day. I can provide medications and/or any specific care that your dog might require. I am a graduate student and my schedule can be flexible! For boarding— my own dogs wake me up at 6 am to eat and then often like to go outside around 8 after some more snoozing. As a student I can be gone from 9-5 occasionally, but more often it is 11-4 or something similar. On average I am gone between 4-8 hours at a time depending on my schedule. During the day we usually play and I give them different enrichment toys. When I am home I let the dogs out frequently to romp in the yard! Dinner is around 5 and then usually a calm evening. My weekends I am usually home for the entire day. For at home visits or walks— I am happy to fit your pets needs into my schedule! I can offer up to 3 visits per day and can spend various amounts of time with your pet based on their needs. For boarding—I have a fenced in yard with plenty of room to run and play. I have two dogs who are friendly (albeit loud) and would love to run around with your dog! I do have a crate in the house for your dog if needed. When I am gone my own dogs are closed in my bedroom and I would likely close your pet(s) in a separate room as well— your pet does not need to be crate trained if they are non destructive! Because I do have pets of my own any boarded dogs need to be dog and cat friendly. For home visits and walks— I am slow to introduce myself with each visit to make sure your pet is comfortable with me in their home as it can be stressful!! I typically sit with pets before immediately going for the leash to make sure they feel safe. I am happy to spend time with your pets beyond walking/feeding! In am able to stay for longer periods of time in the evenings to play or sit and just spend time with them. I am comfortable with reactive dogs and will prioritize your pets comfort.

“Hunter was prompt and attentive to my needs for my cats! One day a bear got into my trash and she even offered to clean it up! I have one cat that is very difficult to find and she went out of her way to find him and take a picture! I am used to detailed updates about how the check in went, but she did take pictures and text me throughout the visit so that was great! Definitely recommend!”

About: I grew up with as many as 5 cats and two dogs at a time. I am familiar with caring for most pets including rodents and fish. I work from home so taking a break to walk or feed pets is not an issue. There is even some extra time to give them some attention too! My dog has free roaming permission in the backyard and we also have a cage for large dogs available. For visiting dogs we walk them on a leash since they are not familiar with the area.

About: When I was 10 I joined a dog training program through my school, that’s where my training experience began. I provide a premium, low-volume dog care experience for owners who want their dog to have more one-on-one attention in a calm home environment. Your dog won’t be just one of many in a crowded space. I keep my care more personal so each dog gets plenty of attention, supervision, and outdoor time. I have a big yard for dogs to enjoy, but my indoor space is smaller, so I am very intentional about keeping the number of dogs low. That means I can focus on your dog’s comfort, safety, and overall experience much more closely. This is a great fit for dogs who do better with a quieter setting and for owners who value quality of care over high-volume boarding or daycare. I generally only take one to a few dogs at a time unless they are from the same household. I have a lot of experience with senior dogs. I took care of my childhood dog for 17 years of her long, beautiful life. I have experience working with small senior dogs specifically and I know all the little things that they appreciate. I also have experience with large dogs and can handle very big strong dogs. I also love hiking with dogs so if you have an energetic dog you need to burn off energy I am your guy. I have an acre yard with a fenced in front yard in a nice area. Any dog that boards with me would be treated like my own dog and let out very frequently to go to the bathroom and play outside. I would always remain home with your dog. Thank you for considering me and I hope to meet your pet soon! I’m currently a fully remote student so I am fully available. If I board a pet I will be with them full time to make sure they receive the care they deserve. I have a fenced in front yard, and a good amount of unfenced land in the back. My dog is very friendly and would keep your pet great company. He loves dogs and cats. I can easily crate your dog if needed, but would love to give your dog the pet experience and treat them like my own. I live in a nice are and have great access to the woods nearby as well.

About: I’ve been around animals my entire life and have hands-on experience caring for a variety of pets, including dogs, bunnies, and birds. Growing up with different types of animals taught me how to adapt to each pet’s unique personality, needs, and routines. I’m comfortable with everything from energetic dogs who need structured walks and play, to smaller animals that require gentle handling and consistency. I pay close attention to behavior, appetite, and mood to make sure every pet is happy, healthy, and comfortable. I currently have open availability, which allows me to be flexible and fully accommodate your pet’s routine. Whether your pet needs early morning visits, midday check-ins, or evening care, I can adjust my schedule to fit their needs. Because I’m not rushing between commitments, I’m able to give each pet focused, unhurried attention during every visit. I care for pets in their own home, where they feel most safe and comfortable. About: My name is Kristina Leigh. I recently turned 42 years old ( in human years) I have spent the majority of these years sharing my life with dogs. I have experience working as a groomer, working at a pet store, and I also have Emergency 24hr Veterinary Hospital Clinic experience. I took classes at Northwestern CT Community College in the Vet Tech program. I have loved 3 amazing senior sweet rescue pitbulls throughout my adult life, and countless four-pawed friends in between. I am not a stranger to exotic reptiles, amphibians, and small rodents of all varieties. This includes my lifetime passion for fresh and salt water fish care. I am very calm, gentle, and patient when it comes to caring for senior dogs and nervous pups. I have basic first aid pet knowledge, but most importantly I have common sense. The most important thing to me personally, is to completely put your mind at ease. Your pets are in great hands. I know and understand as a pet parent the worry that often comes with being away from your pet. That being said, I can guarentee that proper care, respect, and instructions will be shown and followed with your animal and within your home. But I am certain that you will feel at ease by how your pet behaves in my presence. I love animals, and they know it. Trust and respect are incredibly important for me when I am choosing who cares for my pet, my dog is my little chubby dumpling princess. The absolute best is what I ask and expect, and that is what I give to your own little buddies. I have my own transportation, and can accommodate new changes in schedule in a reasonable amount of time. My schedule is flexible, and so is my character. I am more than willing to help create a solution when one feels impossible. All you need do is ask. I take the safety of your furry family member very seriously I have training experience walking bouncy puppies, "pully" pooches, and slow older doggos. I am patient, calm, and know my surroundings at all times during the walks. I can help teach your dog proper leash etiquette if it is wanted I absolutely love spending time around dogs and animals. This is my passion, and if I could do this for free everyday, I would. I have plenty of time to put towards the care of animals. I have a detailed schedule that I follow, and everything is organized and on track. I understand that while caring for animals, extreme care must be taken. I have been called over-protective when it comes to my own pets. But it is for their own protection. Unfortunately, they lack the legal rights that humans have. I am very careful when other animals are around (especially leash-less wildcards coming in hot towards myself and the dog I'm walking ) therefore, it is my choice to not allow strangers to pet any animal I am caring for. Similar to working dogs. There are too many negative examples of pets becoming unfairly removed from their homes because of some untrue accusation. An example is this: You've definitely seen dogs " smiling" to their owners. Some dogs just learn that behavior, and it is far from aggressive behaviour in their minds. Now say someone asks to pet your dog on a walk. The dog smiles, and it is misinterpreted as aggression, person is scared, maybe they act in a way that is embarrassing once they realize they aren't in danger. Maybe they create a scenario in their minds where they were bitten and then they want the " violent" dog put down. and then that is where the mess begins. Safety first!

About: I have grown up with pets in my house all my life! Whether it be cats, dogs, chickens, goats, you name it! We rescued all of our fur babies so I have seen and experienced a lot in the animal world. I am currently a full time college student and I work part time. I can drop in before school, before I go to work, and when I am out of work! I can also do other times as long as we stay in communication. As I will be doing drop in and walks I will keep your animals leashed at all times unless specified differently so there are no escapees. I love giving my fur babies treats so if you provide me with the certain kind your babies can have I will gladly give them a treat for being adorable!

About: I absolutely love dogs all shapes and sizes, when you book with me your dog will be in a safe and loving environment with me. it’s important to me that any dog i’m with at the time will have a fun and enriching environment with me and the time we’re spending together. I have experience training puppies and pet sitting puppies. I’ve done extended petting sitting stays and have done petting sitting with multiple animals, i’ve done week long stays with 6+ animals, so I can handle a big crew if you have it. I have experience with farm animals and horses as well if that’s ever needed as well! I’m currently working part time at a doggie daycare and boarding facility, I absolutely love working with the dogs and am just looking to do some more in my free time. I am a teacher during the day. I'm usually home by 3. I'm home every afternoon and every night and every weekend. I do have flexibility in my work schedule should they need arise. I have a dog lead hooked up to the house and it goes all the way back to the maple tree on the back of the property. 20 ft in either direction gives Fido plenty of room to go to the bathroom. Otherwise, your pup is in the house with me and my family. I am offering dog boarding services. This is a friendly Christian home. Lots of love to share.
