I have 25+ years pet care experience. I am looking to build my business once I move to Torrington in August 2026. I am returning to pet care full-time after spending some years in the human services field. I am also a groomer with Groom and Vroom mobile pet grooming! I truly believe that pets are a part of the family. So, they would be treated as such while in my care. In addition to caring for cats and dogs, I am also able to care for rabbits, hamsters, chickens and other small animals. About this sitter: I am willing to pet sit in your home or just stop in for a short visit/walk. As I am trying to grow a positive relationship with clients, I am flexible. Why I love dog sitting I have been a dog lover since I was a small child. I lived with dogs my entire life, and began working with them at fourteen. Dogs are my passion, and as an adult I have still continued to work with animals. Meet my pets My cat, Chauncey, passed in 2024. We adopted Marigold, another tuxedo, in January 2025, and Artemis, a gray and white tabby, in December 2025. About my yard I do not have a fenced yard and cannot board at my home. My experience administering medication Yes, I am comfortable administering medication. I have also taken a class at a local veterinarian to learn the basics about CPR, first aid and medication administration.

Ashley is amazing. She took great care of the dogs. She is very attentive to details, stays in touch, and is very flexible. When we needed a bit of extra help she rallied to help us. She went above and beyond. We hope to be one of her repeat customers for a long time.
This is the first time I’ve used Rover and I couldn’t be more pleased with Ashley E., who recently cared for our 2 male doggies, while we threw a wedding for our daughter. We have a 6 yr old Belgian Shepherd and a 13 yr old Westie. Ashley was wonderful with each of them giving equal love and attention according to their energy and needs level and all the while keeping me calm by sending texts and photos each time she visited. When she came to meet our dogs, our Belgian actually kissed her, which he rarely does with us! Our Westie requires much medication which she made sure to clearly understand and administer, that was one of my biggest worries about hiring a pet sitter and she did it with ease. Most impressive to me was the morning of the wedding my husband was alone to get ready and needed help with his bowtie, cufflinks and button covers of his shirt. Ashley rescued all of us by helping him, THANK YOU!!! That was above and beyond the call of duty, ha ha. I will definitely be using Rover again and definitely Ashley E!
Ashley was great- communicative, extremely helpful, and managed all the cat care throughout blizzard conditions! My cat was totally relaxed and happy when we came home. Thank you Ashley!

Schedule
I work as a mobile groom T-F and every other Saturday, but have some flexibility in my schedule. I am available early morning, in the evening and late night as well.
