“I am constantly amazed by my wife’s deep love for dogs. Though we don’t have one of our own yet, she is always eagerly waiting for the day we can bring a dog into our home. Her compassion and affection for every dog she meets is truly remarkable. Whether it’s a dog we pass on a walk or one she meets at a friend’s house, her nurturing spirit shines through. She has an incredible ability to connect with dogs, understanding their needs and offering them love and comfort. Watching her interact with them is heartwarming—her gentle touch and kind words always make them feel safe and loved. “Can’t recommend Midori enough! I was nervous not only leaving my dog alone for the first time but this was my first time using Rover, and she went above and beyond to make my dog (and me) so comfortable while I was away! She met us in advance to make sure it was a fit, sent me updates every day, brought him a toy, played with him and made sure he was as happy as he could be while I was gone. Very professional, and followed my instructions without any issues. Thank you so much, we will be using you again in the future!”

“Elizabeth did a fantastic job in her visits with my cat Star. She did everything I asked of her including a couple of last minute instructions I had while away. She also sent messages with pictures which gave me plenty of piece of mind knowing my little buddy was okay. I highly recommend to anyone looking for someone to watch their pet. Superb job!”

“Veronica took such good care of Reese’s and we will definitely use her again. She sent us pictures and videos while we were on vacation. Reese’s loved her and she also took such good care of him. We will definitely recommend you to other people ☺️”

About: Your custom care is here. I’ve taken care of German Shepherds and small teacup poodles. Let me know what you need and I will do my best! I’m a full-time teacher so I get out of school at four so I can walk your dog then. I work in Hartford so I can also let your fur baby out on my break. Let me know if you need me watch or sit any of your pets over the weekend. Blessings! I live in a large condo association with lots of paved areas to walk. Some elevation and other friendly dogs around here. There’s a large vacant parking lot if they want to throw a ball or frisbee. There is a trail nearby if they want to walk in the woods or on rocks and dirt.

About: I’ve had animals since I can remember. I currently has 3 golden doodles and a Great Dane so my experience covers all sizes! I love to take my dogs out hiking and get their noses working and their legs tired out so they can curl up by the fire when we get home. I’m focused on calm assertive energy and like to figure out how the dog is feeling - it’s so much more than just walking with a leash. I have a flex schedule and enjoy getting my walks in throughout the day and early evening. This is great to establish a routine for your dog My pets are with me throughout the day and crate trained when unsupervised. We love to play ball in the yard when not out walking.

“Mecheal is very accommodating and has taken great care of my 16 year old beagle going for strolls in the neighborhood and keeping her company while I’m away.”

About: Having grown up with dogs, I have always loved having a 4 legged creature around! I have fostered dogs for the last couple of years. I also frequently dog sit for friends, family and neighbors! I have watched and fostered all types of dogs from 5lb papillons to 80lb pitties! I work full-time from home and have quick access to a yard right off my back deck making it easy to take the dogs out during the day. There are also many trails in my complex for long walks! I have access to a yard for quick potty breaks and trails for longer walks. I can crate your dog or provide them with a penned in area, if needed! I have a crate and pen available here.

About: I’ve been a pet owner since I was around 10 years old. Dogs, cats, parakeets, bunnies, guinea pigs and even ducks!. Currently have one dog living with me in my apartment. My dream is to own a house with a big backyard for my dog to enjoy. I’d also like to open a dog shelter in Peru and rescue as many dogs and cats as I can with the financial help of friends and family members. I’ve taken care of a couple dogs from the families I used to nanny for. I have excellent references. I work part time (roughly 25 hours) so my schedule is somewhat flexible. If booked in advanced (3 weeks or more) I can work around your pet’ s needs. I will treat your fur baby as if it was mine. The same way I’d like someone to watch my baby for when I’m away. I don’t mind the shedding hair, drool or even poop. It’s Pretty simple. I currently have the summer off. I live close to Meadow road and love going to the trails for long walks. I like to keep a routine when it comes to feeding and walk times. I also can rent in advanced a fenced in backyard for your pup to run off leash and no other dogs on site. Not every dog is the same, some love to sleep, play or keep it to themselves. I usually go for walks first, then play time. I will bring my computer if I need to work on my website or watch a show.

“Kelsey is wonderful. We knew Kelsey was a good match BUT we were 100% in when our two dogs were instantly relaxed with her . This is not the case more often than not for our Chi mix . Kelsey provides updates when she arrives and based on pictures she sends Milo and Lili are on totally board with their new friend. Even with current higher than normal temps, she is aware of the heat , pavement temp and keeping Lili and Milo in the shade so they do not overheat. Thank you Kelsey! This has been a huge help to us and we appreciate you taking good care of our furbabies. PS our cat, Waffles, seems to be passing on his overly rambunctious love to Kelsey also!!”

“Melissa is absolutely awesome! She is very kind, compassionate, and reliable. My lab Bear is an energetic 3 year old, and I wouldn't trust him with anyone else. Melissa is 100% my go to for pet sitting. Bear is always happy and relaxed when we return. You can tell she takes great care f him!”

“Destini is a special pet friendly person I can speak to this she loves all animals especially dogs from big to small Destini has taken care of my dogs Sadie and Blaze two amazing pit bulls she kind friendly caring loving and even has conversations with them she would be great”

“Lee was wonderful with communication and did a great job walking out dog. We'll definitely use him again. Thanks Lee!”

“Dez was the first person I trusted to watch my dog while I was out of town, and to be honest, she ruined all other dog sitters for me. Dez was the most amazing dog sitter we have ever had. She is very knowledgeable about animals and was excellent at managing the dogs. She genuinely loves animals and loves working with them, and you can tell. My greyhound had separation anxiety at the time and was unsure about other dogs, but Dez took him in like he was her own, and by the end of the week my dog was cuddling up with hers. She sent regular updates and photos as well. I cannot recommend her enough!”
