About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats since I was 16 years old. I am now 22 with three cats of my own and a love for taking care of furry friends!!🐈‍⬛🐕 I am currently a college student available from 1-6:30 every weekday. After 4 pm on Saturday I am available and all day Sunday! My whole life I have been called an animal whisperer, as I get along with any animal I interact with. It brings me a lot of joy to care for pets and make owners feel secure in their decision to hire me. I am very detail oriented when it comes to their routine and will ask questions to confirm I am taking care of your pet correctly.

About: I have been around dogs my entire life and understand that every dog has their own unique personality, needs, and routine. As a current dog owner to my energetic 1½-year-old dog, I have hands-on experience with daily walks, exercise, training reinforcement, feeding schedules, and providing lots of love and attention. Growing up with dogs taught me the importance of patience, consistency, and creating a safe, comfortable environment where pets can thrive. I understand how much trust it takes to leave your pet in someone else’s care, and I treat every dog as if they were my own. In addition to my experience with dogs, I have spent years caring for animals through my equestrian background, which has helped me develop strong animal-handling skills, attention to detail, and a calm, responsible approach to animal care. I have spent the last 5 years riding and training horses professionally am really passionate about all things animals ! Whether your dog needs a walk, drop-in visit, or companionship while you’re away, I’ll make sure they receive attentive care, plenty of affection, and regular updates so you can feel confident they’re in good hands. 🐾 I work as a professional rider and spend much of my day caring for and working with horses, which has given me extensive experience handling animals and maintaining consistent care routines. My schedule can vary depending on training and horse show commitments, but I do my best to keep my Rover calendar up to date and am often available for dog walks, drop-in visits, and pet sitting throughout the week. I always make safety and comfort my top priority when caring for pets. I pay close attention to each dog’s personality and routine so they feel relaxed and secure while I’m with them. I’ve grown up around animals and currently work around horses, so I’m very used to reading animal behavior and staying calm and responsible in different situations. I bring that same mindset to every dog I care for.

About: Nice to meet you. My name is Amy. I am a high school Spanish teacher on summer vacation, and I am available every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday this summer to walk your dog or check in on your pets while you are away. I have experience with cats, dogs, horses, and chickens. Yo hablo español (et un peux de français!) I am available mornings and afternoons on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday throughout the summer, from late June to mid August. Check my schedule on Rover to see my availability ! I am happy to feed and brush your pet; play with them; take them for walks. I can administer medication, clean up messes. If you have a cat, I can also feed them, brush them, and clean their litter box.

About: I’ve had dogs for most of my life and have been pet sitting on the side for over 2 and a half years now! I mostly do overnights, making sure dogs are well taken care of and attended to. I am currently pet sitting full time, so I will be available almost every day, at any given time! Whether that’s a drop in visit or an overnight stay! I try to spend as much time as much time as I have with your dog to make sure they have been let out to go to the bathroom and exercise if needed!

About: I’ve taken care of dogs, cats, and chickens for over 10 years. I started by taking care of a friend’s Bernese mountain dog when I was 18, and it’s taken off since then. Over the course of 11 years, I’ve predominantly cared for larger dogs (Bernese, Greyhounds, and New Foundlands). What sets me apart from other sitters is that I treat the home like my own space and leave it just the same as when I arrived. I’m currently unemployed after being laid off. Right now I’m able to be in your home all day and night while caring for your pets. When I’m back to working full-time, I arrange with the owner for a neighbor etc to visit during the day while I’m at work. I typically care for pets in the client’s home because the pet is more comfortable in their typical environment. I ask ahead of time what the pet’s schedule is so I’m familiar with their routine.

My 1 1/2 year old pup is 75 lbs and very strong, and I had no worries that she could handle him even if they ran in to other people and dogs on their walk. About: I have had dogs and cats my entire life growing up. I have experience both taking care of dogs and cats of all ages. Since October 2025 I have been a puppy nanny for the cutest Wheaton as well as watching his senior siblings. In this position I was responsible for training, sitting, and walking the puppy and have recently ended this position due to moving to West Hartford to attend graduate school at UHart. I have also gained experience cat sitting for a coworker when she is away on vacation. I am currently starting my first summer semester at the University of Hartford so I am looking for opportunities mainly on the weekends but I am also available most Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays later in the day. I will be able to provide care in any living situation/setting based on your instructions to provide the best care possible for your pets.

About: I have had dogs my whole life. My job has been to feed them, give them water, clean up after them, take them for walks, and give them medication. I also currently have a senior dog, so I have some experience with them! I have experience with small and big dogs alike. I am a college student who is home for the summer, so I have full availability. During the school year, I will work around my class schedule. Evenings and weekends will be free for sure. We have a fenced yard at home. Still, I watch my dogs just in case. In spring/summer I check for ticks every time they go out. When we go on walks, I am always diligent when we pass another dog. If my dogs aren't up for walks, especially my senior dog, we go out into the backyard and play fetch or run around.
