About: I have been around dogs my entire life and understand that every dog has their own unique personality, needs, and routine. As a current dog owner to my energetic 1½-year-old dog, I have hands-on experience with daily walks, exercise, training reinforcement, feeding schedules, and providing lots of love and attention. Growing up with dogs taught me the importance of patience, consistency, and creating a safe, comfortable environment where pets can thrive. I understand how much trust it takes to leave your pet in someone else’s care, and I treat every dog as if they were my own. In addition to my experience with dogs, I have spent years caring for animals through my equestrian background, which has helped me develop strong animal-handling skills, attention to detail, and a calm, responsible approach to animal care. I have spent the last 5 years riding and training horses professionally am really passionate about all things animals ! Whether your dog needs a walk, drop-in visit, or companionship while you’re away, I’ll make sure they receive attentive care, plenty of affection, and regular updates so you can feel confident they’re in good hands. 🐾 I work as a professional rider and spend much of my day caring for and working with horses, which has given me extensive experience handling animals and maintaining consistent care routines. My schedule can vary depending on training and horse show commitments, but I do my best to keep my Rover calendar up to date and am often available for dog walks, drop-in visits, and pet sitting throughout the week. I always make safety and comfort my top priority when caring for pets. I pay close attention to each dog’s personality and routine so they feel relaxed and secure while I’m with them. I’ve grown up around animals and currently work around horses, so I’m very used to reading animal behavior and staying calm and responsible in different situations. I bring that same mindset to every dog I care for.

“Tara is wonderful. I recently needed someone to help walk my anxious and excitable rescue dog ( a 6-year-old Labrador-Golden Retriever mix). She bonded with my pet right away and was masterful and patient in keeping her calm and controlled. It was my first time using Rover and my first time leaving my dog with a stranger. Tara made me feel comfortable leaving my dog and she sent me multiple photos and updates of her visit. I look forward to working with her in the future.”

About: I’ve had dogs since I was 12 and have experience with all kinds of personalities and ages, from puppies to senior dogs with medical needs. I currently have a senior dog myself, so I’m very patient, attentive, and comfortable with extra care routines. Friends and family always count on me first for pet sitting because I genuinely love animals and treat every pet like my own. I also have experience caring for cats and always make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. About: I’ve had multiple pets since I was young and always had a great love for all animals. I have had my dog since I was 6 years old and been taking care of her since then. Neighbors and family members have always trusted me taking care of their cats, dogs, bunnies, and birds and I love meeting and forming a connection with them all! I also have experience with senior and special needs as my dog had some behavioral issues in the last few years of her life and she has taught me a lot about having compassion for everyone. 🩷 My school year is over so I am currently home for the summer and will have plenty of time to take care of your pets! I also am available on breaks as well and would love to walk your dog during those times! I am majoring in animal studies with a minor in environmental studies in college and have a very strong love and passion for all animals. I have a big fenced yard for your dog to run around and play in! My both love all types of pets and are super welcoming.
