About: I grew up with dogs. I had a Great Dane that lived to be 12. I currently have a mini bernedoodle that is almost 5 years old. I also have a bunny. I currently work full-time and am available on Saturday and Sunday for boarding and dog walking. From late June through August, my schedule is more flexible. I will be available daily. I live in a quiet neighborhood in a cul-de-sac with a fenced-in yard. I have a very friendly mini Bernedoodle. I love dogs that play and lazy dogs that just like to chill.

About: I have been around dogs my entire life and understand that every dog has their own unique personality, needs, and routine. As a current dog owner to my energetic 1½-year-old dog, I have hands-on experience with daily walks, exercise, training reinforcement, feeding schedules, and providing lots of love and attention. Growing up with dogs taught me the importance of patience, consistency, and creating a safe, comfortable environment where pets can thrive. I understand how much trust it takes to leave your pet in someone else’s care, and I treat every dog as if they were my own. In addition to my experience with dogs, I have spent years caring for animals through my equestrian background, which has helped me develop strong animal-handling skills, attention to detail, and a calm, responsible approach to animal care. I have spent the last 5 years riding and training horses professionally am really passionate about all things animals ! Whether your dog needs a walk, drop-in visit, or companionship while you’re away, I’ll make sure they receive attentive care, plenty of affection, and regular updates so you can feel confident they’re in good hands. 🐾 I work as a professional rider and spend much of my day caring for and working with horses, which has given me extensive experience handling animals and maintaining consistent care routines. My schedule can vary depending on training and horse show commitments, but I do my best to keep my Rover calendar up to date and am often available for dog walks, drop-in visits, and pet sitting throughout the week. I always make safety and comfort my top priority when caring for pets. I pay close attention to each dog’s personality and routine so they feel relaxed and secure while I’m with them. I’ve grown up around animals and currently work around horses, so I’m very used to reading animal behavior and staying calm and responsible in different situations. I bring that same mindset to every dog I care for.

About: Experience with all dog types and ages. Also experience sitting cats for a month at a time. Excellent litter box cleaner and all around lover of animals. I have fostered several cats in addition to having my own. I have not personally had a dog, but walked a yellow lab puppy while in graduate school and have the energy and patience to care for animals of all personalities. Dependability is a quality I pride myself on and I will respect your home and pet as if he or she is my own. I have flexibility in my schedule and am at home during the work week. About: As a stay-at-home mom, caring for others is a big part of my daily life, and that includes animals. I grew up with dogs and cats, so I’m very comfortable with their different personalities, energy levels, and care needs. I provide a calm, safe, and pet-friendly home environment. As a stay-at-home mom, I’m home most of the day, so pets receive lots of attention and supervision. I focus on making animals feel comfortable by keeping a relaxed environment and following their normal routines as closely as possible. I’m attentive to each pet’s personality and needs, whether they enjoy playtime, relaxing nearby, or having their own quiet space. “Tara is wonderful. I recently needed someone to help walk my anxious and excitable rescue dog ( a 6-year-old Labrador-Golden Retriever mix). She bonded with my pet right away and was masterful and patient in keeping her calm and controlled. It was my first time using Rover and my first time leaving my dog with a stranger. About: I’ve taken care of multiple dogs since I was 14. I was a free-lance dog walker for my neighborhood so I’ve had plenty of experience with many kinds of dogs! I go to school part-time so I’ll be able to take care of your pups as long as I’m not in school. I enjoy taking dogs on walks as I enjoy being active. I have plenty of toys to keep your pups busy as well as my own dog, Tucker, to keep them company! I will play with them and give them as much attention and love as I can.

About: I have been surrounded by animals since I was little, and not just family pets. While I grew up in a golden retriever family (on golden 4 now), I also currently have a cat, have had fish, guinea pigs, and bunnies. I have worked and volunteered at local farms, and bathed, groomed, fed, and played with all sorts of animals, and am equipped for a variety of animal care services. I also have lots of experience with pets of friends and family, and dog sitting, and get along well with all! I am recently graduated and back home in CT for the foreseeable future. I have a very flexible schedule, so please reach out with any requests and I am sure I can make it work. I am very good at tending to animals needs, but also going beyond. I know how to play with animals and help even the shyest feel comfortable, whether with treats, playtime, cuddles, or even my dog’s personal favorite - classical music! I am good with animals who are fearful as much as I am good with animals bursting with energy. I am able to feed dogs and cats and any pet, make sure they always have water available, give them potty breaks and walks, and playtime and rest time as needed. And of course, I am always happy to just sit and keep animals company - they need it as much as we do!

About: Hello! I have 30 years of experience caring for pets. I own an 80lb lover-girl named Lobster and a 10lb rascal-cat named Trinity (from The Matrix!) My schedule is very flexible and I'm available for couch snuggles, energetic playdates, and walkies. My furry companions have other members of the family to care for them at home if I'm pet-sitting overnight. About: I grew up taking care of my dog Waggles for 15 years. Have had other dogs and have taken care of friends dogs as well. Could help during the week and on weekends anytime. Happy to walk, care for and house pets overnight. Lots of love for cats and dogs. Our last cat was an indoor cat, but we have had outdoor ones as well.
