Our cat likes to be outdoors, and Amanda often returns outside of our agreed-upon check-ins to make sure he's back home and settled inside for the night. I never worry about him when Amanda is in charge, but I appreciate her text updates! I would not hesitate to recommend Amanda as a pet caregiver - your pet couldn't be in better hands.”

About: I’ve been dogsitting for almost four years now, and have a great relationship with all the dogs I have sat for, I am willing to take day-of jobs. I’m in college, with mondays off, so I’ve got a long weekend every weekend, and very work to do. I can help out at any time during this weekend, and some times during the week as well! I have no pets of my own, so all my love would go to the one I’m watching. As a college student, I’m always walking out and about and would love to take your dog on long walks.

About: Your pet will be treated like the king or queen that they are when staying with me. Having grown up with a dog and cat, it was only a matter of time before I had pets with my family. We started with a very personable cat, then brought a service dog into our home for my son’s special needs, and most recently adopted a sweet, energetic senior dog to give them a forever home. When a person tells me that their dog is not very affectionate, I usually have no problem giving them some attention. I have previous experience as a dog sitter in client’s homes for many years as well. For the past 22 years, taking care of a pet has been part of my daily routine. Feeding, giving medications, potty breaks, exercise, stimulation, and cuddle time. My goal is to keep to your pet’s schedule and routine as much as possible. I work from home and have 2 adult children in my home who will love spending time with your pet as well. Your dog will always be on leash when outdoors for potty breaks, walks or exploring the wonderful grassy areas in my condo complex, which is very pet friendly. My last dog was an escape artist, so all family members are very conscious of having the door always closed. Crates are available if needed, as well.
20. Callahan M.
“Callahan has had at least two dogs in her life since she was born. She fed, walked and cared for 6 labs (3 have passed), a blue tic coon hound, a mini Yorkie, and a puggle. When she was about 8, she was walking our (big) male Iab who saw a squirrel and took off, but Callahan wouldn’t let go of the leash because she was afraid for our dog - so he pulled her across our gravel road. She was all scraped up, both legs and knees bleeding but she was so proud she hung on to Jax and kept him safe. Anyone would be very lucky to have her caring for their dog!”
