About: I cared for the family dog for 5 years, she was 7 when we rescued her after a breeder no longer wanted her. We wanted to give her the best years for her retirement. I then opened my home to fostering dogs a year later, to give another pup the chance to learn and experience the joys of being a family dog. I have since fostered a handful of different dogs ranging from a 3 month old puppy to a prospective agility dog, as well as a 65lb gentle giant. Whether it’s taking it slow with your senior pup or multiple daily walks/enrichment for your high drive bestie, I can do it all! Available day and night. Your pup, if crate trained, would be alone for a maximum of 3-hours, when needed. If not crate trained a secure room will be utilized in emergencies for a maximum of 1-hour. I have multiple sized crates both soft and metal. If your pup is house trained free roaming will always be allowed. If your dog has trouble acclimating and/or is not house trained, a play pen or crate may be utilized to minimize clean up from accidents. Sleeping on the bed is preferred for me, but I respect boundaries and/or crate training if needed. Dogs are never allowed off leash when outdoors, for their security and mine. Located on a quiet street with a backyard. Access to parks and trails within 20 minutes for more active dogs.
“Kevin was amazing. My dog, Scruffy is very shy, but he got comfortable with Kevin and his dog very quickly. It was evident that Scruffy had a pleasant stay with Kevin, and he’ll be back soon 👍 Bonus: Scruffy also smelled nice (like himself) when he got home. When Scruffy stays with other sitters, he usually comes home smelling like other dogs for a few days. It was definitely a bonus (for me) that it didn’t take a few days for Scruffy to smell like himself again, haha.”

About: I’ve trained multiple dogs for obedience & hunting, which I’ve dedicated several months to do for each pup. I have a 10 year old Chesapeake Bay Retriever that’s very well trained and well behaved. I work from home, so I’m here all day unless I go out for something at the store or gym. If gone, I always let the dog roam free and keep the tv on for him. Naturally I play with the pup several times a day. My office is connected to the backyard, so I can throw the ball or play often. I have no issues letting the dog outside whenever they’d like.

We’re SO happy we found Ashley! We needed someone last minute to watch our Yorkie, Maverick, while we were on vacation, and man, we really lucked out. From the start, she made us feel so comfortable leaving him with her and sent us tons of pictures and updates while we were away. Each one melting our hearts more than the last. She took such amazing care of Maverick and really made him part of the family. Her son and Maverick became the best little buddies, which was honestly so sweet to see. It made us so happy knowing he was having fun, getting lots of love, and feeling right at home while we were gone. We came home to a VERY happy pup, and we couldn’t be more thankful.
