About: I love to walk and hike and I love dogs so I’m a perfect Dog Walker! Ive had dogs for 60 years. I’ve had big, small, young, old dogs and puppies. They love me. I have a gentle alpha energy that makes them feel safe. Consider me your pets grandmama who likes to get out and explore the neighborhood! I’m retired but active. I am a woodworker and always have a hobby going. I lost my sweet old puppy, Savannah about a year ago. Not ready for a new dog, but I want dog energy in my life! Im hyper vigilant on walks, especially with new dogs. I like long walks so the pup can get a little tired and get into that pack travel state of mind. While house sitting I’m kind of a minimalist in other people’s houses. I don’t travel with much stuff. I read, knit and watch too much YouTube. I do come and go so I can continue to walk other dogs.

About: When I was 10 I joined a dog training program through my school, that’s where my training experience began. I provide a premium, low-volume dog care experience for owners who want their dog to have more one-on-one attention in a calm home environment. Your dog won’t be just one of many in a crowded space. I keep my care more personal so each dog gets plenty of attention, supervision, and outdoor time. I have a big yard for dogs to enjoy, but my indoor space is smaller, so I am very intentional about keeping the number of dogs low. That means I can focus on your dog’s comfort, safety, and overall experience much more closely. This is a great fit for dogs who do better with a quieter setting and for owners who value quality of care over high-volume boarding or daycare. I generally only take one to a few dogs at a time unless they are from the same household. I have a lot of experience with senior dogs. I took care of my childhood dog for 17 years of her long, beautiful life. I have experience working with small senior dogs specifically and I know all the little things that they appreciate. I also have experience with large dogs and can handle very big strong dogs. I also love hiking with dogs so if you have an energetic dog you need to burn off energy I am your guy. I have an acre yard with a fenced in front yard in a nice area. Any dog that boards with me would be treated like my own dog and let out very frequently to go to the bathroom and play outside. She spent a lot of time with him, changed his litter more often than I asked, and even figured out tricky eyedrops that he got prescribed at the last minute. She was very patient and careful in getting to know him, and as a result he quickly became very comfortable with her and trusted her. She was very communicative and responsive the whole 9 days I was gone, she sent messages and pictures at the same time every day and asked questions when she was unsure about something. She definitely went the extra mile to make sure Al was really well taken care of. I felt really confident the whole time because it was clear she really cared about making sure he was taken care of and doing a good job. I'd definitely recommend using her as a pet sitter!”

About: I've been taking care of dogs since I was 8 years old and got my very first dog. I love all types of dogs, I can even handle aggressive dogs with ease! I always love to spend my free time with animals. Any availability I have is used to to go towards my pets and hopefully yours!
