I have a gentle alpha energy that makes them feel safe. Consider me your pets grandmama who likes to get out and explore the neighborhood! I’m retired but active. I am a woodworker and always have a hobby going. I lost my sweet old puppy, Savannah about a year ago. Not ready for a new dog, but I want dog energy in my life! Im hyper vigilant on walks, especially with new dogs. I like long walks so the pup can get a little tired and get into that pack travel state of mind. While house sitting I’m kind of a minimalist in other people’s houses. I don’t travel with much stuff. I read, knit and watch too much YouTube. I do come and go so I can continue to walk other dogs.

About: I’ve had pets since I was six years old. I started with a cat named Sherlock and ever since I’ve had pets in my life. I’ve been a humane society foster for the past five years. I’ve cared for playful kittens, crabby cats, puppies with endless energy, senior dogs that slept 23 hours a day, and everything in between. I work part time from home as a photo editor. That leaves me with a lot of free time. I love to go for long walks. Pet sitting combines two of my loves together. Being outside, getting exercise, while caring for people’s pets. I live downtown, so when I care for a pet it’s very easy to go for nice long walks by the beach to get our exercise and do lots of sniffing. My apartment has plenty of room for a crate if your pet prefers to sleep in their little den with all the smells from home. We have a great screened in porch so kitties can safely lay in the sun and watch the world go by.

About: I've been taking care of dogs since I was 8 years old and got my very first dog. I love all types of dogs, I can even handle aggressive dogs with ease! I always love to spend my free time with animals. Any availability I have is used to to go towards my pets and hopefully yours! I never let animals I don't know very well be off leash outside without my supervision, it is dangerous to me to be careless like that. About: I have always had a pet dog and ever since I was a teenager, I’d dog-sit for family and neighbors. Since college, I’ve been pet-sitting ajd dog walking on a more professional level. I’ve babysat for a few hours, simply for a walk, but have also watched multiple high energy dogs for up to two weeks. I’ve cared for dogs under a year old and up to 13 years old. I’ve always loved dogs and find them very easy to get along with and care for no matter their size, age, or personality. I have also cared for kittens a few weeks old, senior cats, administering medication orally, grooming them if they have long hair etc. Cats have a very different energy than dogs but I enjoy taking care of them just as much as dogs. I am currently in between jobs so I have a lot of free time to care for other dogs, whether it is a short walk or a multi-hour play date, etc. I always follow whatever guidance I am provided by pet parents. This means if you are only comfortable with your dog on a leash or lead while in your yard, I strictly follow that.
