About: I have experience caring for a variety of pets including dogs, cats, and birds. While it has been quite a few years, I was a veterinary technician in high school and college. I love all animals and feel comfortable around dogs of all sizes. I am a second grade teacher looking to share my love of animals while earning extra income during the summer. I am a second-grade teacher with two high school children. I can be available most days during the summer due to my career. I am also available most afternoons/evenings during the school year. My schedule is very flexible and I'm available for couch snuggles, energetic playdates, and walkies. I’m a full-time teacher so I get out of school at four so I can walk your dog then. I work in Hartford so I can also let your fur baby out on my break. Let me know if you need me watch or sit any of your pets over the weekend. Blessings! I live in a large condo association with lots of paved areas to walk. Some elevation and other friendly dogs around here. There’s a large vacant parking lot if they want to throw a ball or frisbee. There is a trail nearby if they want to walk in the woods or on rocks and dirt.

When caring for pets in their own home, I do my best to maintain their normal routine to reduce stress and keep them comfortable. This includes feeding, fresh water, walks, playtime, litter box or yard cleanup, medication administration if needed, and plenty of attention and companionship. I also keep owners updated with messages and photos so they know their pets are doing well. If pets stay in my home, they will be treated like family in a safe, clean, and supervised environment. I'll follow their feeding schedule, exercise needs, and any special instructions provided by the owner. My goal is to ensure every pet feels comfortable, secure, and cared for whether they're staying with me or I'm caring for them in their own home.
