A lifelong dog and cat owner, I've also fostered kittens and puppies for 10 yrs through the Animal Rescue League in Boston. I’m comfortable with animals of all sizes and ages. I have a Great Pyrenees mix and used to have a Bernese, and was a longtime foster of a pair of chihuahua mixes. I've bottle-fed kittens, and given senior pets their meds (and slow walks). I’m an active mom of 5 grown human kids, so patience is my middle name. Professionally, I’m a work-from-home journalist (higher ed, travel) and happy to work from yours if your animal wants more companionship than just a drop-in visit. About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats since I was 16 years old.
