About: I love all animals, but I am a cat person. I believe that people who say “cats are just fine on their own. Leave out food and they won’t even notice that you’re gone for two weeks“ just fundamentally don’t understand cats. I have lived with shy cats, grumpy cats, sweet dumb cats, aggressive cats, sometimes all at once. They are all individuals and that’s how I approach each one. I don’t believe that any cat wants to be taken out of the place where it feels most comfortable, its home, and therefore I do not offer boarding. I would love to meet your cat in your home and take care of both its basic needs (clean litter boxes, food and water) and its need for companionship and enrichment. Some cats don’t mind a stranger and they’ll be happy to play with me. If your cats are anything like my boys Moose and SquirreI, I won’t even see them because they will hide the moment I walk in the house. That’s fine. I have no problem sitting quietly and allowing them to get used to my presence. Either way, your cats will get the benefit of the full amount of contracted time. I will never just feed, scoop, and run. I have given medications to cats and if your cat needs that, we can discuss it. As we both know, sometimes it is easier said than done so any special requirements are something that we would need to talk about before the booking.

About: I enjoy the outdoors and taking a walk. Your dog will have lots of play time, as well as fun, treats, food and water. I just like having a dog around to keep each other company so they are not home alone for long time period, you know getting into mischief we can do that together and have more fun haha. I currently do not have any dogs but will get one when the time is right. I have enjoyed and attended dog shows showing for obedience and agility(Dalmatians). I also attended and passed the canine good citizenship test with my first dog. My second dog was adopted and we did agility and was a lot of fun. A dog is a companion in which you meet other dog friendly people. I'm currently working full time but would have time to care for your fur kid/s before and after work, get mail, water plants, check house. I do not have a fenced yard so would take your fur kids out on a leash at your home or if fenced and you chose for them to be loose at your home.

I always love to spend my free time with animals. Any availability I have is used to to go towards my pets and hopefully yours! I never let animals I don't know very well be off leash outside without my supervision, it is dangerous to me to be careless like that. About: When I was 10 I joined a dog training program through my school, that’s where my training experience began. I provide a premium, low-volume dog care experience for owners who want their dog to have more one-on-one attention in a calm home environment. Your dog won’t be just one of many in a crowded space. I keep my care more personal so each dog gets plenty of attention, supervision, and outdoor time. I have a big yard for dogs to enjoy, but my indoor space is smaller, so I am very intentional about keeping the number of dogs low. That means I can focus on your dog’s comfort, safety, and overall experience much more closely. This is a great fit for dogs who do better with a quieter setting and for owners who value quality of care over high-volume boarding or daycare. I generally only take one to a few dogs at a time unless they are from the same household. I have a lot of experience with senior dogs. I took care of my childhood dog for 17 years of her long, beautiful life. I have experience working with small senior dogs specifically and I know all the little things that they appreciate. I also have experience with large dogs and can handle very big strong dogs. I also love hiking with dogs so if you have an energetic dog you need to burn off energy I am your guy. I have an acre yard with a fenced in front yard in a nice area. Any dog that boards with me would be treated like my own dog and let out very frequently to go to the bathroom and play outside. About: I grew up with as many as 5 cats and two dogs at a time. I am familiar with caring for most pets including rodents and fish. I work from home so taking a break to walk or feed pets is not an issue. There is even some extra time to give them some attention too! My dog has free roaming permission in the backyard and we also have a cage for large dogs available. For visiting dogs we walk them on a leash since they are not familiar with the area.
About: My name is Kristina Leigh. I recently turned 42 years old ( in human years) I have spent the majority of these years sharing my life with dogs. I have experience working as a groomer, working at a pet store, and I also have Emergency 24hr Veterinary Hospital Clinic experience. I took classes at Northwestern CT Community College in the Vet Tech program. I have loved 3 amazing senior sweet rescue pitbulls throughout my adult life, and countless four-pawed friends in between. I am not a stranger to exotic reptiles, amphibians, and small rodents of all varieties. This includes my lifetime passion for fresh and salt water fish care. I am very calm, gentle, and patient when it comes to caring for senior dogs and nervous pups. I have basic first aid pet knowledge, but most importantly I have common sense. The most important thing to me personally, is to completely put your mind at ease. Your pets are in great hands. I know and understand as a pet parent the worry that often comes with being away from your pet. That being said, I can guarentee that proper care, respect, and instructions will be shown and followed with your animal and within your home. But I am certain that you will feel at ease by how your pet behaves in my presence. I love animals, and they know it. Trust and respect are incredibly important for me when I am choosing who cares for my pet, my dog is my little chubby dumpling princess. The absolute best is what I ask and expect, and that is what I give to your own little buddies. I have my own transportation, and can accommodate new changes in schedule in a reasonable amount of time. My schedule is flexible, and so is my character. I am more than willing to help create a solution when one feels impossible. All you need do is ask. Things happen; life happens, and hopefully you will feel that choosing me as your pet's Auntie makes things much easier for you. I take the safety of your furry family member very seriously I have training experience walking bouncy puppies, "pully" pooches, and slow older doggos. I am patient, calm, and know my surroundings at all times during the walks. I can help teach your dog proper leash etiquette if it is wanted I absolutely love spending time around dogs and animals. This is my passion, and if I could do this for free everyday, I would. I have plenty of time to put towards the care of animals. I have a detailed schedule that I follow, and everything is organized and on track. I understand that while caring for animals, extreme care must be taken. I have been called over-protective when it comes to my own pets. But it is for their own protection. Unfortunately, they lack the legal rights that humans have. I am very careful when other animals are around (especially leash-less wildcards coming in hot towards myself and the dog I'm walking ) therefore, it is my choice to not allow strangers to pet any animal I am caring for. Similar to working dogs. There are too many negative examples of pets becoming unfairly removed from their homes because of some untrue accusation. An example is this: You've definitely seen dogs " smiling" to their owners. Some dogs just learn that behavior, and it is far from aggressive behaviour in their minds. Now say someone asks to pet your dog on a walk. The dog smiles, and it is misinterpreted as aggression, person is scared, maybe they act in a way that is embarrassing once they realize they aren't in danger. Maybe they create a scenario in their minds where they were bitten and then they want the " violent" dog put down. and then that is where the mess begins. Safety first!
About: I’ve taken care of multiple dogs since I was 14. I was a free-lance dog walker for my neighborhood so I’ve had plenty of experience with many kinds of dogs! I go to school part-time so I’ll be able to take care of your pups as long as I’m not in school. I enjoy taking dogs on walks as I enjoy being active. I have plenty of toys to keep your pups busy as well as my own dog, Tucker, to keep them company! I will play with them and give them as much attention and love as I can.
About: I’ve had and taken care of cats my whole life. Friends and community members have relied on me for all of their pet care needs. I currently work a part time job with non-consistent hours. My best availability is on the weekends but I can make any weekday hours work. I do not offer any doggy daycare or boarding services, however I can effectively offer all pet care services from staying at your house to keep your pets happy to stoping by and walking, feeding, and having play time with your pet.
