Our 3 year old Vizsla has always vacationed with us, but this time we couldn't take her with us, we found Luis and Alan on Dog Vacay and messaged them, they were quick to accommodate, their home with a very large fenced in yard was plenty for our V to run around! Their house was spacious and very clean! We received updates every day with pictures and humor which put our mind at ease! They were way above and beyond what we were hoping for! It is so great to know that we have a wonderful home to bring our fur baby to, incase we should travel again and cannot bring her! Luis and Alan couldn't have been anymore amazing! She is such a sweet, caring, knowledgeable woman that I knew would take wonderful care of my dog. This was the first time using Rover as I was not comfortable leaving her in a kennel again for this long as my dog gets very anxious and sad when we are away and my usual in house dog sitter was with us on vacation. Mary Ann lives just 10 minutes from my house with a lovely fenced in side yard for her to go to the bathroom outside and just run around not being on a leash, which is just like home. Also being able to jump on the furniture and the beds was a plus too, again just like home. And she did not have any issues getting too anxious which is what I was hoping for. About: Grew up on a farm caring for animals since my youth. now enjoy the company of visiting dogs, just like I had with my own. I currently work part-time and many situations able to bring a boarding dog with me; as I work with mostly older folks who would love the sweetness of a dog visit; considered therapy. I have a side fenced yard, safe from the road, and only do private walks in a comfortable grass field near my home, leashed and one at a time for individual attention.

About: When I was 10 I joined a dog training program through my school, that’s where my training experience began. I provide a premium, low-volume dog care experience for owners who want their dog to have more one-on-one attention in a calm home environment. Your dog won’t be just one of many in a crowded space. I keep my care more personal so each dog gets plenty of attention, supervision, and outdoor time. I have a big yard for dogs to enjoy, but my indoor space is smaller, so I am very intentional about keeping the number of dogs low. That means I can focus on your dog’s comfort, safety, and overall experience much more closely. This is a great fit for dogs who do better with a quieter setting and for owners who value quality of care over high-volume boarding or daycare. I generally only take one to a few dogs at a time unless they are from the same household. I have a lot of experience with senior dogs. I took care of my childhood dog for 17 years of her long, beautiful life. I have experience working with small senior dogs specifically and I know all the little things that they appreciate. I also have experience with large dogs and can handle very big strong dogs. I also love hiking with dogs so if you have an energetic dog you need to burn off energy I am your guy. I have an acre yard with a fenced in front yard in a nice area. Any dog that boards with me would be treated like my own dog and let out very frequently to go to the bathroom and play outside. About: Ability to go at the dog(s) speed when it comes to playing and or walking, from cuddling on the couch with senior dogs to playing with energetic puppies, I can do it all. I have a fairly open schedule and flexibility when it comes to accommodating pet sitting/walking into my schedule, whether it's in the morning, afternoon, night, or overnight I have a fenced yard that I make sure is cleaned up and mowed low. When it comes to caring for the pets within the home, I ensure that the house is as clean as possible, and I feed them at a reasonable time. The same goes for bathroom breaks for them; I let them use the bathroom every hour to two hours. For the senior dog, I know I take her out every 45 minutes

I'm experienced with taking care of cats, I had a cat for 4 years so i'm familiar with cleaning the litter box, feeding, washing, and playing with cats. As for dogs i'm familiar with them in the sense of being around them through friends/family and I adore dogs. When I was really young i would go to a pet store where you could see or play with puppies and I loved it. I'm aware also with dogs that if I were to pet sit I would have to make sure they're taken care of like: fed, played with, and in their cage whenever the client says they're suppose to be. About: I’ve always had a passion for animals which brought me into the veterinary field 12 years ago as a kennel attendant, I loved the job however I didn’t feel all the animals boarding were always getting one on one attention. Over the last 12 years I’ve gone to school and graduated as a Veterinary Assistant/Veterinary Technician, currently in school for my B.A in Veterinary Technology. Taking care of animals is truly my passion whether it be in my hospital, at home or for family and friends, all pets truly get treated as if they were my own. It truly gives me joy knowing I’ve made a small difference. With all that has been stated above I do have a full time job as a ER/ICU Veterinary Nurse. Our 3 year old Vizsla has always vacationed with us, but this time we couldn't take her with us, we found Luis and Alan on Dog Vacay and messaged them, they were quick to accommodate, their home with a very large fenced in yard was plenty for our V to run around! Their house was spacious and very clean! We received updates every day with pictures and humor which put our mind at ease! They were way above and beyond what we were hoping for! It is so great to know that we have a wonderful home to bring our fur baby to, incase we should travel again and cannot bring her! Luis and Alan couldn't have been anymore amazing! They truly love dogs!!! We are so pleased, and highly recommend them!”

“Amber was absolutely amazing with our larger lab puppy, Duke! This was his first time away from us, and he stayed with her from Wednesday to Sunday (4 nights and 5 days). She was incredibly attentive and patient with his puppy energy. We loved getting the regular photos and updates, which really put our minds at ease. Amber took him on plenty of walks and even set up a pool for him on the hot days to keep him cool. Duke had a blast, and we will definitely be booking with Amber again. Highly recommend!”

About: I’ve been dog sitting for people my whole life. From shitzu’s, to lab mixes. I also have two rescues of my own who I’ve worked very hard with to make comfortable and feel loved after there trauma. I am currently a full time teacher so I’m available mostly weekends. Come summer time, other than a part time job I’ll be available often. I have two high energy dogs who love to play. We do not have a fenced in yard, but it is large with woods all around. We also have a lead set up for dogs who are a flight risk.
