“Nicole did a great job with Sticky while we were away. She sent many photos in addition to responding quickly with updates when I checked in. Her dog, Bailey, seemed very relaxed with another dog in the house, and no signs of stress for either dog, even with a baby in the house. Very inpressed!”

“Lynsey was incredibly accommodating and made sure that Zora was coming into a friendly environment. Her pup Stan got along great with mine, and she had an ample, secure space that the pups could run around in.”

“This was Rae's third stay with Tina and Jordan, and once again they were absolutely wonderful. As repeat clients, we already knew Rae would be in great hands, but they still exceeded our expectations. They sent plenty of photos and videos throughout her stay, which we always appreciate, and it was clear from every update that Rae was happy, comfortable, and treated like part of the family. Seeing how excited she is to be with them gives us so much peace of mind when we're away. Tina and Jordan are kind, communicative, and genuinely care about the dogs they watch. It's not easy leaving your dog behind, but knowing Rae is with people who love and care for her as much as they do makes all the difference. We wouldn't hesitate to book with them again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for exceptional pet care.”

“My dogs were with Nell for the first time for 2 nights, they came home very happy and tired! I can tell they were very comfortable in her home and we’d definitely book with her again!”

About: I’ve been dog sitting for people my whole life. From shitzu’s, to lab mixes. I also have two rescues of my own who I’ve worked very hard with to make comfortable and feel loved after there trauma. I am currently a full time teacher so I’m available mostly weekends. Come summer time, other than a part time job I’ll be available often. I have two high energy dogs who love to play. We do not have a fenced in yard, but it is large with woods all around. We also have a lead set up for dogs who are a flight risk.
“Jesse was amazing with my pup and sent the best pictures. He was extremely communicative and made sure my fur baby was loved. He is always my first go to as a sitter I have to leave town.”

“Robin is always so wonderful with our dog, Adelaide. She does regular drop in visits with her so when we need boarding services, Robin is always our first choice! She shows our dog so much care, attention and love.”

“Mary Ann boarded/took into her home my Daizy, a 12-year-old toy poodle, while I had surgery. The best recommendation comes from Daizy who kept looking for Mary Ann after Daizy came home! My little was pampered, cared for and spoiled and I couldn’t have been more pleased. Highly recommend!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs on and off for years and I’ve had a couple of my own. Would be happy to host your pet for a day or a few days, whatever your need is. I am fully retired at this time and will have plenty of time to play with and care for your pet. I am available weekdays and nights as well as some weekends. I am also available to watch them at your house as well if you’d prefer. I am happy to follow your feeding schedule and to take your pet for a daily walk. There are no young children or anyone else living in the house except me.
“Chloe's place was so much fun for my dog because he was surrounded by good caring people who have their own dogs each with a different energy level, all very chill and easy going. My dog made a best friend to play with all day. I'm sure they must have slept well at some point.”

“We had a great experience with Kate! Our dog, Sampson, stayed in her home and was very well cared for. Communication was easy and consistent, and we felt completely comfortable knowing our pup was in good hands. Sampson is pretty easygoing, but it was clear he was treated with attention and kindness. We will definitely book with them again.”

“We had never used Rover before, and we couldn’t have asked for a better first experience! Thank you so much, Angela and Tommy, for taking such great care of Lisbon. It was clear from the moment we met you that she was in good hands. We’re so grateful for your kindness and professionalism. Lisbon seemed so happy and well cared for when we picked her up. We’ll definitely be reaching out to you again in the future. Thank you!”

“We feel so lucky to have found Katie! She watched Mac for 3 nights and was incredibly flexible and communicative. She was accommodating of our rather last minute request and returned Mac happy and exhausted. Her house is clean and so well-equipped for a big mischievous puppy like Mac. We will absolutely be booking with her again!”

“Anna was very attentive, kind and obviously portrayed that she wanted to care for our fur baby. Our dog can be a little difficult with strangers and it seemed that she felt very comfortable there! Definitely recommend.”

“Thank you for taking care of Hershey while I was on a trip out of the country. This was her first time boarding with someone privately, and I could tell her had a good time and was happy.”

“Estelle looked after our pug Henry for a weekend, and the entire time we were able to relax and feel confident that he was happy and in good hands. Her home is beautiful and set up really nicely for the dogs, with a large clean fenced-in yard to play in, and lots of toys and beds for them to occupy themselves. Her dogs are sweet and made Henry right at home. Estelle regularly sent photos and updates to let us know how he was doing. He was always treated like part of the family and I think for him it was just a fun weekend with friends. I will absolutely be boarding Henry with Estelle again and I couldn't recommend her highly enough.”

“Karina is my new go to boarder for Flash. My dog stayed for a week and he was very well taken care of. I received multiple daily updates with pictures and videos so I always knew he was in good hands. I can’t thank you enough!! 5 Star service! We couldn’t be happier with Karinas services!”

“Poppy had a wonderful time with Jennifer. She is very caring and attentive. She sent me multiple pictures each day and kept me informed. This is my second time using Jennifer to care for Poppy, and I couldn’t be more pleased. Thank you Jennifer.”

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
