He was always treated like part of the family and I think for him it was just a fun weekend with friends. About: Dogs have always been part of my family, from Beagles to Bullies and up to three in a home at a time. “Overall, I would rate Lindsay as a good pet-sitter. Prior to our vacation, she was very timely in responding to my messages and she also modified the Rover.com charges to a very reasonable rate for her visits with our 2 cats. It was while we were gone that I felt she fell short. My first issue was with her inconsistency in providing updates on the visits - there was a photo and thorough recap on the 1st day, but on subsequent days there was less detail and on one day there was no update at all. My second issue was with the timing of her visits. I had made it very clear that it was important to check in during the early afternoon, but at least twice she didn't visit until the evening. My third issue was with attention to detail - I had left very specific notes about the cats' food/water/litter and it didn't seem that she had followed them. Lastly, my greatest concern was with the well-being of our female cat and her being bullied by the male cat in our absence. We came back to find that she had a facial injury and had urinated in a chair out of fear. All-in-all our pets were reasonably cared for, but I was definitely disappointed. Lindsay is a very nice girl and I'm sure she had the best intentions. I think the issues may have been due to lack of experience or perhaps I wasn't clear enough on stressing the importance of certain things. (To those reading this review, please note that I have very high expectations for the care of my pets and I think Lindsay is absolutely capable of meeting the needs of a less demanding client.)”

About: I grew up with as many as 5 cats and two dogs at a time. I am familiar with caring for most pets including rodents and fish. I work from home so taking a break to walk or feed pets is not an issue. There is even some extra time to give them some attention too! My dog has free roaming permission in the backyard and we also have a cage for large dogs available. For visiting dogs we walk them on a leash since they are not familiar with the area.

About: I recently graduated from Harcum college In PA with a degree in veterinary nursing and it was definitely a long ride but all worth it! I had a childhood cat named Sophie since I was born. We grew up together, she was a calico and she was definitely the reason I knew I wanted to work with animals because I enjoyed helping them so much. She passed at 20 years old right before I left for college and was my motivation through all of it. I am beyond grateful for my girl and understand the amount of love and connection an owner can have with there baby. I have previously worked at a veterinary ER the last 2 summers and enjoyed it so much. About: I’ve taken care of pets, dogs of all sizes, cats. I’ve given medicine orally, and insulin shots. I have sat for pets for several years for family, friends, neighbors, and coworkers. I love spending time with all animals between long walks, hiking, and just hanging out on the couch. I work full time but I telework several times per week. Weekends completely available. When I’m at the office my partner is home 24/7 so the pets will never be alone! I have a lead going from the back deck to the shed (across my whole yard) I have two very friendly dogs and cats. I can crate if needed & there is space available if your dog needs to decompress alone without other animals. I slowly introduce animals to make sure everyone coexists well. All dogs are fed separately to avoid any food aggression. We have an over sized, fully gated and covered back deck that the dogs can also hangout on with us safely.

About: Hi paw friends 🐾 I am somewhat new to Rover but I have grown up with dogs my entire life. I have always helped my family and friends care for their animals and I always enjoyed doing it. My husband and I got married four years ago and our little girl is three. It's amazing to see her interact with the dogs because she gets more comfortable and happier each time. We will eventually get a dog when the time is right, but I love Rover because it’s give me the opportunity to still bond with pups. I truly love being around animals. Our families sometimes come to stay with us with their dogs and I get a crazy burst of happiness every time. About: I have several years of paid and volunteer experience with all animals, including dogs, cats, fish, chickens, rabbits, horses, and goats. Growing up, I had two dogs, one small and one medium. I also used to volunteer at a therapeutic horse-riding center for people with disabilities, where I groomed horses and cleaned their barns. I currently have two guinea pigs who are contained in cages, but are very curious, playful, and friendly with other animals. About: Ability to go at the dog(s) speed when it comes to playing and or walking, from cuddling on the couch with senior dogs to playing with energetic puppies, I can do it all. I have a fairly open schedule and flexibility when it comes to accommodating pet sitting/walking into my schedule, whether it's in the morning, afternoon, night, or overnight I have a fenced yard that I make sure is cleaned up and mowed low. When it comes to caring for the pets within the home, I ensure that the house is as clean as possible, and I feed them at a reasonable time. The same goes for bathroom breaks for them; I let them use the bathroom every hour to two hours. For the senior dog, I know I take her out every 45 minutes

About: I’ve cared for many different animals throughout my life, including mammals, birds, reptiles/amphibians, exotics, farm animals, and wildlife. I’ve cared for pets of friends and family. I have experience with overnight sitting in the pet’s home. I also have experience caring for senior and special needs animals. I spent 6 months as a volunteer at a vet clinic assisting with exams and surgical procedures, and I am currently exploring career paths in animal sciences and wildlife rehabilitation. I have lots of availability to care for your fur babies! I work part-time as a waitress while exploring different careers in the field of animal behavior and sciences. I have the flexibility to accommodate to your schedule and needs. I can be available on most weekends and holidays. I also accept same-day bookings. I prefer to care for animals in their own home where they feel most comfortable. As well as walking in areas they are familiar with. I always make sure to maintain pet safety in the home such as keeping doors/windows/gates shut and keeping hazardous items and toxic plants out of reach or locked away.
About: I have owned my own animals my whole life. I currently have a Doberman who has Addison’s disease and requires daily medication and weekly injections. I worked at a rescue for 3 years when I was in college so I know a lot about dog behavior and care. My husband and I own a small masonry business. I currently assist him on the jobsite when needed but mostly take care of the administrative duties so my schedule is very customizable to your pet care needs I am comfortable working with pets of all ages and in a variety of environments. Wether you prefer drop in visits in your home or long walks with your dog I can accommodate many different options.
About: When I was 10 I joined a dog training program through my school, that’s where my training experience began. I provide a premium, low-volume dog care experience for owners who want their dog to have more one-on-one attention in a calm home environment. Your dog won’t be just one of many in a crowded space. I keep my care more personal so each dog gets plenty of attention, supervision, and outdoor time. I have a big yard for dogs to enjoy, but my indoor space is smaller, so I am very intentional about keeping the number of dogs low. That means I can focus on your dog’s comfort, safety, and overall experience much more closely. This is a great fit for dogs who do better with a quieter setting and for owners who value quality of care over high-volume boarding or daycare. I generally only take one to a few dogs at a time unless they are from the same household. I have a lot of experience with senior dogs. I took care of my childhood dog for 17 years of her long, beautiful life. I have experience working with small senior dogs specifically and I know all the little things that they appreciate. I also have experience with large dogs and can handle very big strong dogs. I also love hiking with dogs so if you have an energetic dog you need to burn off energy I am your guy. I have an acre yard with a fenced in front yard in a nice area. Any dog that boards with me would be treated like my own dog and let out very frequently to go to the bathroom and play outside. I would always remain home with your dog. Thank you for considering me and I hope to meet your pet soon! I’m currently a fully remote student so I am fully available. If I board a pet I will be with them full time to make sure they receive the care they deserve. I have a fenced in front yard, and a good amount of unfenced land in the back. My dog is very friendly and would keep your pet great company. He loves dogs and cats. I can easily crate your dog if needed, but would love to give your dog the pet experience and treat them like my own. I live in a nice are and have great access to the woods nearby as well.
About: I have over 30 years working with dogs ranging from Alaskan Malamutes to Golden Retrievers and a few cats in between, and I love them all. I currently volunteer at ARF (American Rescue Foundation). Any animal under my care will be treated like my own at all times. I work for myself part-time and have plenty of time to care for animals. The days I work my primary job are random so please check my calendar or message me. My dogs get a healthy balance of outdoor and indoor time. I don’t like to crate animals unless absolutely necessary. Rewards are given more with love and affection and less with tasty treats. Absolutely no table food unless it is prepared specifically for our 4 legged friends. Overall just try to keep them happy without spoiling them too much:)
