We very much appreciated all of the pictures she sent to us of Charlotte during her stay (it looks like she rotated between everyone's laps - her favorite thing!). When I picked Charlotte up, she was calm and happy. She got along fine with Tucker which makes us happy for him too, and Jill's daughter's were super sweet with her. It's a comfort to know that Charlotte is being loved when she stays will Jill just as she is when home with us, and now we can go away with peace of mind. About: I’ve always had pets growing up. Over the past 20 years I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes, cats, rabbits, turtles, snakes, and hamsters. I love animals more than most humans. My sister is also a vet which is super handy to have. I currently work from home so I can be present and then I have down time I can play and tend to my furry house guest. I have a room for my dogs with a very bring crate, beds and toys. When I have furry guests I can always alternate my dogs in the room or the furry guest into that room. About: I am an animal lover here to help! I grew up with animals, and have 3 dogs and 2 cats of my own. I also owned ducks and chickens for several the years. I have many years experience with a variety of medical issues pertaining to dogs and cats, including allergies and epilepsy. That same puppy is now approved and undergoing training to be a psychiatric service dog. My other 2 dogs are also well trained. Although we’re happy to take it easy, we also love to hike and would be happy to take your dog along! I work with animals full time and love it! My schedule changes based on the needs of my clients for that week, and I adjust as needed. My pets are my babies! I have a fenced in yard, with a dog door to access it. It does close, and can be kept closed during the day if needed as my dogs are extremely well trained, and also have the option to access to my home office (a separate building in the back yard) if needed. They have full range and free access to the downstairs, except we discourage them being in the kitchen. Our dogs are kept from the upstairs by a secured baby gate. They are allowed up there, just usually attended because the puppy sometimes confuses her human sisters toys for her own! We have a large property with a trail that we take our dogs up to, and also live very close to several hiking trails that we frequent. One of our dogs had to retire from long walks and hikes, so he stays home now, but he still loves a good car ride and a short easy walk!

About: Hi, my name is Marley, I am currently studying my undergraduate degree at Oregon State University. Since I was 10 years old, I have volunteered at local dog and cat shelters whenever I have a couple open hours within the day: CPR (Companion Pet Rescue, Southbury CT), Heartland Humane Society (Corvallis OR), and Safe Haven Humane Society (Tangent OR). I have been dog sitting and cat sitting for local families for over 5 years just to help out and absolutely love it. I am always responsible of a pet’s health and prioritize them always. I currently have a part-time job where I do not work longer 5 hours in a day, I am also taking classes come September 24, but will easily prioritize checking in on your animals and making the time to care for them! I think that one of the most important jobs as a pet sitter is making sure nothing is rushed, which is why I spend as much time as needed with the animals I watch. I think it is crucial to make sure the animals are happy and healthy both when I arrive and when I leave. I love to take dogs on long walks, play with them outside, and give them the care they need (from feeding to outside time). As for cats, I think they deserve the same amount of attention and I will never pass up the opportunity to give a cat some pets!
About: Since childhood, dogs have been an integral part of my life, starting with two Pomeranians, followed by an energetic Shiba Inu named Akira, and a loving lab mix German Shepherd named Stella. Over the years, I've gained extensive experience caring for these pets—whether through cuddling, playing, feeding, walks, or adventures. I've also spent time teaching them tricks and handling their grooming needs. Earlier this year, I began offering overnight and day sitting services, along with walks, for friends on Rover, and later extended my services to family and other referrals. I focus on building strong bonds and trust with the animals I care for, tailoring our time together to ensure it's both enjoyable and enriching. I've worked with dogs ranging from 4-month-old puppies to older dogs aged 13-14, and have experience with both a kitten and an adult cat. My approach is patient, compassionate, and dedicated to meeting the unique needs of every animal I care for. I'm a makeup artist who works both on location and from home. With a flexible schedule, I currently have plenty of free time to spend with your dog! **Dog Walking**: I tailor each walk to the dog’s individual energy level, adjusting the pace and distance to ensure they get the right amount of exercise. I also provide opportunities for exploration while keeping safety in mind, and I’m attentive to any health considerations or special preferences they may have. **Overnight Sitting**: When staying in a client’s home, I prioritize the pet’s comfort and security by sticking to their regular routine as much as possible. This includes consistent feeding, potty breaks, playtime, and providing companionship to ease any anxiety, particularly during the night. In everything I do, my primary goal is to build trust with each pet, providing them with a safe, loving environment where they feel cared for and valued—whether I’m working in my own home or in a client’s.
About: I grew up with as many as 5 cats and two dogs at a time. I am familiar with caring for most pets including rodents and fish. I work from home so taking a break to walk or feed pets is not an issue. There is even some extra time to give them some attention too! My dog has free roaming permission in the backyard and we also have a cage for large dogs available. For visiting dogs we walk them on a leash since they are not familiar with the area.
About: I have 2 dogs, a cat, and a turtle! They each have unique needs that I tend to in our daily lives. I am an animal lover at heart! We very much appreciated all of the pictures she sent to us of Charlotte during her stay (it looks like she rotated between everyone's laps - her favorite thing!). It's a comfort to know that Charlotte is being loved when she stays will Jill just as she is when home with us, and now we can go away with peace of mind. She has a lot of experience with larger dogs and there appeared to be just enough energy in the home that our pup adjusted to quickly even with a few other dogs there.
