We very much appreciated all of the pictures she sent to us of Charlotte during her stay (it looks like she rotated between everyone's laps - her favorite thing!). When I picked Charlotte up, she was calm and happy. She got along fine with Tucker which makes us happy for him too, and Jill's daughter's were super sweet with her. It's a comfort to know that Charlotte is being loved when she stays will Jill just as she is when home with us, and now we can go away with peace of mind. About: I genuinely enjoy caring for cats of all ages from kittens to seniors. I have been a cat mom for almost 30 years now, learning from the diversity of cat experiences and personalities. I love their quirkiness and companionship. I would care for your cats as I care for my own, with kindness, respect, and common sense. I will read and follow instructions. I will not leave doors open. I will make sure they eat what they’re supposed to be eating and observe for any signs of distress. I will spend quality time with your kitties so they feel loved while you are away! I have a somewhat flexible schedule with remote work days. Weekends are flexible. In most cases, I would be able to make morning and evening cat care visits. I prefer to care for cats in their own home environment. However, we do have the option of several private, closed off areas in our home to host a cat traveler, if needed.
“Overall, I would rate Lindsay as a good pet-sitter. Prior to our vacation, she was very timely in responding to my messages and she also modified the Rover.com charges to a very reasonable rate for her visits with our 2 cats. It was while we were gone that I felt she fell short. My first issue was with her inconsistency in providing updates on the visits - there was a photo and thorough recap on the 1st day, but on subsequent days there was less detail and on one day there was no update at all. My second issue was with the timing of her visits. I had made it very clear that it was important to check in during the early afternoon, but at least twice she didn't visit until the evening. My third issue was with attention to detail - I had left very specific notes about the cats' food/water/litter and it didn't seem that she had followed them. Lastly, my greatest concern was with the well-being of our female cat and her being bullied by the male cat in our absence. We came back to find that she had a facial injury and had urinated in a chair out of fear. All-in-all our pets were reasonably cared for, but I was definitely disappointed. Lindsay is a very nice girl and I'm sure she had the best intentions. I think the issues may have been due to lack of experience or perhaps I wasn't clear enough on stressing the importance of certain things. (To those reading this review, please note that I have very high expectations for the care of my pets and I think Lindsay is absolutely capable of meeting the needs of a less demanding client.)”

About: There are multiple reasons why I would be the perfect person to take care of your pet! I worked at Guiding eyes for the Blind where I helped train and care for labs and German shepherds. I have worked at a dog kennel and a veterinary center where I provide top care to the client's pets. I aid dogs ranging from puppies to seniors, healthy to unwell, teacup to gigantic. About: I am a mom to three human children, six dogs, two cats, and three horses. When my kids were younger, my "me time" was spent volunteering for various rescues and shelters. I love taking care of animals and found so much satisfaction helping out those poor little creatures who had no home to call their own! I’m able to house sit if you are traveling, as well as available for dog walks and check-ins as needed! My animals each have unique needs when it comes to the attention they need and their diet. I carve out time in the day to give the special attention to each animal, that they deserve. I have a special relationship with each of my animals and couldn’t imagine life without them!
About: I've taken care of dogs of every kind since I was a kid. Neighbors, friends and family have relied on me to walk, feed and bathe their pets while they were away or needed time out. I also have experience in the medical side of things as well! I currently have goats and chickens that I take care of mornings and evenings on weekdays. I am available between 10am- 4pm on weekdays and all day on weekends! I have a small studio with just me in it! A huge yard and a lot of walking trails near by! About: Hi, my name is Marley, I am currently studying my undergraduate degree at Oregon State University. Since I was 10 years old, I have volunteered at local dog and cat shelters whenever I have a couple open hours within the day: CPR (Companion Pet Rescue, Southbury CT), Heartland Humane Society (Corvallis OR), and Safe Haven Humane Society (Tangent OR). I have been dog sitting and cat sitting for local families for over 5 years just to help out and absolutely love it. I am always responsible of a pet’s health and prioritize them always. I currently have a part-time job where I do not work longer 5 hours in a day, I am also taking classes come September 24, but will easily prioritize checking in on your animals and making the time to care for them! I think that one of the most important jobs as a pet sitter is making sure nothing is rushed, which is why I spend as much time as needed with the animals I watch. I think it is crucial to make sure the animals are happy and healthy both when I arrive and when I leave. I love to take dogs on long walks, play with them outside, and give them the care they need (from feeding to outside time). As for cats, I think they deserve the same amount of attention and I will never pass up the opportunity to give a cat some pets!
About: I have had cats since I was a baby and had chow chow dogs since I was 13 years old. I also worked at a kennel off and on for 12.5 years. I learned a little training but not a lot. I have worked with all different breeds of dogs. I love snuggling with cats as I grew up with having them in my household. I currently work full time however, full time is 30 hours for me so it allows me to have 3 to 4 days off towards the end of the week depending on the week. We have a large back yard with a dog run and as far as my cat. He is an indoor cat and gets spoiled indoors.

About: Ability to go at the dog(s) speed when it comes to playing and or walking, from cuddling on the couch with senior dogs to playing with energetic puppies, I can do it all. I have a fairly open schedule and flexibility when it comes to accommodating pet sitting/walking into my schedule, whether it's in the morning, afternoon, night, or overnight I have a fenced yard that I make sure is cleaned up and mowed low. When it comes to caring for the pets within the home, I ensure that the house is as clean as possible, and I feed them at a reasonable time. The same goes for bathroom breaks for them; I let them use the bathroom every hour to two hours. For the senior dog, I know I take her out every 45 minutes

We very much appreciated all of the pictures she sent to us of Charlotte during her stay (it looks like she rotated between everyone's laps - her favorite thing!).
