“Claire was *fantastic*! She took incredible care of our menagerie for five nights/6 days: three mid size dogs (50-60lb); two older, each on a number of medications, and a very spunky 5yo. We also have three cats including a frail 15 yo; and 9 hens. We live in an old farmhouse that is in various stages of renovation - for sure, not the easiest for house sitting. Thankfully Claire was undaunted by the challenge. During our time away, she was terrific providing updates and was super quick with replies when I had the additional need to check in- super reassuring, especially give that this was our first time with Rover, and having a combined housesitter/animal sitter at this house. We returned home to a very content crew - the truest sign of being well cared for in our absence, and the house in perfect order- seemingly better than we left it. We highly recommend Claire, without reservation. She was truly outstanding.”

About: I have several years of paid and volunteer experience with all animals, including dogs, cats, fish, chickens, rabbits, horses, and goats. Growing up, I had two dogs, one small and one medium. I also used to volunteer at a therapeutic horse-riding center for people with disabilities, where I groomed horses and cleaned their barns. I currently have two guinea pigs who are contained in cages, but are very curious, playful, and friendly with other animals. I'm an incoming Master's student who is currently working part-time this summer. I have a highly flexible schedule and short commute times, which gives me more time to care for your pets! I have spacious front and back yards where your pet can roam. I also have a doggy gate to block off the upstairs of my house if necessary, but our downstairs and upstairs are very dog-proof from years of caring for our previous pets. I live in a 3-bedroom home, providing ample room for your pet to explore and wander inside if they prefer the indoors. I also have dog bowls, leashes, toys, and food, ready for use.

About: I’ve always been comfortable with dogs of all types. I grew up with dogs and have spent my whole life around animals, so caring for them feels natural to me. I’m calm, confident, and make sure to adjust to each dog’s individual needs so they feel safe, understood, and well cared for. I work full‑time during the day, but I’m available in the early mornings and evenings to take care of your pet. That gives me plenty of time for feeding, walks, playtime, or whatever they need before and after work. Mondays are my completely open day, so I’m available all day then for longer visits or extra care. My goal is to ensure your pet feels genuinely cared for. I pay close attention to their routine and what they need, and I make sure they stay comfortable, happy, and relaxed the whole time they’re with me.

She offered two visits before the actual sitting just to get to know our Pep and us. She always showed up the time she said she would. Pep warmed up to her quickly. About: I have taken care of dogs all sizes and different temperaments. We have 4 cats in my home currently! I love working with animals of all kinds- I’m hoping to go back to school for my vet tech certification soon! I have a flexible schedule and am available weekdays until the sun goes down! I am also available on weekends with advance notice. Boarding requests are preferred to be made at least 5 days before the start date! I am not able to host pets at my home but I will always be respectful in yours. If you request I can help with other task during boarding stays such as plant watering, retrieving the mail, or any other small household tasks!
