About: I have several years of paid and volunteer experience with all animals, including dogs, cats, fish, chickens, rabbits, horses, and goats. Growing up, I had two dogs, one small and one medium. I also used to volunteer at a therapeutic horse-riding center for people with disabilities, where I groomed horses and cleaned their barns. I currently have two guinea pigs who are contained in cages, but are very curious, playful, and friendly with other animals. I'm an incoming Master's student who is currently working part-time this summer. I have a highly flexible schedule and short commute times, which gives me more time to care for your pets! I have spacious front and back yards where your pet can roam. I also have a doggy gate to block off the upstairs of my house if necessary, but our downstairs and upstairs are very dog-proof from years of caring for our previous pets. I live in a 3-bedroom home, providing ample room for your pet to explore and wander inside if they prefer the indoors. I also have dog bowls, leashes, toys, and food, ready for use.

“Ian's first housesitting with Carson went very well. He was dedicated to Carson's health and safety especially since there were unexpected thunderstorms. Ian comforted Carson throughout the day and night with lots of care, hugs and belly rubs. Ian was in communication each day and sent pictures as well. Carson had an added play date with Hailey too. Ian was respectful in our home and left it clean. All great qualities when someone is caring for your pet and staying in your home.”

About: I’ve spent several summers caring for both cats and dogs as well as having them in my house growing up! I absolutely love giving them the attention they deserve, whether that’s playtime, walks, or cuddle time. As a 20 year old college student, I bring lots of energy, patience, and genuine love for animals. I enjoy making pets feel safe, happy, and cared for like they’re part of my own family I currently am a college student with mostly early morning classes, so I am up pretty early. I also am a soccer coach for Wilmington hammer heads which is about 2 hours Monday, Wednesday, Thursday nights. Other than that I am extremely flexible and am never busy for long periods of time! Whether I’m in my home or a client’s, safety and comfort always come first. About: I have cared for and loved animals world wide- from pet sitting locally, providing food and water and kindness to strays along my travels, to volunteering at Australia Zoo. Since I was younger, animals have always held a huge place in my heart- rescuing farm kittens, dog walking for neighbors, and swerving to avoid hitting a frog with my bike. My love goes beyond our domesticated pets - I have volunteered at a wildlife rehab so I also do what I can for our local wildlife. And I’ve seen the good the bad and the ugly when I shadowed along side my best friend in Australia during her overnight emergency vet shifts. Providing comfort and love to animal, domesticated or wild, is a true honor. I am self employed as a Massage Therapist located in New Milford. I work Mondays-Fridays and typically start between 2/3:00pm and work until 8(ish). I work one Saturday a month and those hours vary- usually a 4 hour day. With owning my own business I can set my hours- when I have notice I can always schedule accordingly to the pet’s needs. When caring for my/your pet, I focus on maintaining their normal routine so they feel safe, comfortable, and secure. I take the time to learn each pet’s personality, preferences, and needs—whether that means playful engagement, gentle companionship, or giving them space. I ensure pets are fed on schedule, have fresh water, receive medication as directed, and get plenty of attention and affection. I keep litter boxes and living areas clean, monitor for any changes in behavior or health, and communicate updates and photos to owners for peace of mind. I treat every pet as if they were my own, with patience, respect, and lots and lots of love.

About: I have both professional and personal pet care experience as I have worked at a kennel in the past and have owned pets my entire life. I can confidently care for pets of all ages, training levels and health conditions and love doing so! I am currently working part time leaving my weekdays free! However my weekend availability is flexible and varies weekly so I will always be able to make time for your pet! I can happily care for your pet in any way they require wether that is on leash walks, supervise exercise off leash, crating or anything else necessary to ensure you and your pet are happy.
