We also have three cats including a frail 15 yo; and 9 hens. We live in an old farmhouse that is in various stages of renovation - for sure, not the easiest for house sitting. Thankfully Claire was undaunted by the challenge. During our time away, she was terrific providing updates and was super quick with replies when I had the additional need to check in- super reassuring, especially give that this was our first time with Rover, and having a combined housesitter/animal sitter at this house. We returned home to a very content crew - the truest sign of being well cared for in our absence, and the house in perfect order- seemingly better than we left it. About: I have cared for and loved animals world wide- from pet sitting locally, providing food and water and kindness to strays along my travels, to volunteering at Australia Zoo. Since I was younger, animals have always held a huge place in my heart- rescuing farm kittens, dog walking for neighbors, and swerving to avoid hitting a frog with my bike. My love goes beyond our domesticated pets - I have volunteered at a wildlife rehab so I also do what I can for our local wildlife. And I’ve seen the good the bad and the ugly when I shadowed along side my best friend in Australia during her overnight emergency vet shifts. Providing comfort and love to animal, domesticated or wild, is a true honor. I am self employed as a Massage Therapist located in New Milford. I work Mondays-Fridays and typically start between 2/3:00pm and work until 8(ish). I work one Saturday a month and those hours vary- usually a 4 hour day. With owning my own business I can set my hours- when I have notice I can always schedule accordingly to the pet’s needs. When caring for my/your pet, I focus on maintaining their normal routine so they feel safe, comfortable, and secure. I take the time to learn each pet’s personality, preferences, and needs—whether that means playful engagement, gentle companionship, or giving them space. I ensure pets are fed on schedule, have fresh water, receive medication as directed, and get plenty of attention and affection. I keep litter boxes and living areas clean, monitor for any changes in behavior or health, and communicate updates and photos to owners for peace of mind. I treat every pet as if they were my own, with patience, respect, and lots and lots of love.

He followed any/all directions we had left for our dog and kept us in the loop daily when we checked in. We trust him to stay in our home and take great care of our dog. About: I have been called Dr. Dolittle my entire life. I have a knack for connecting with animals of all kinds. My very first job was working at a local farm with all different types of animals like horses, goats, pigs, chickens, ducks, etc. It was one of my favorite jobs, I got lucky! I also worked at a dog boarding facility which gave me experience working with multiple dogs at once. I always give animals the space to have their specific personality and the respect they deserve, as I would treat a human. Animals are often misunderstood, I’ve always tried to meet them where they stand. If there is one thing I am confident in, it’s making an animal feel safe and comfortable. And they do the same for me :) I would love to meet your faithful friend and see if they find me worthy of a tail wag or a belly pet! I currently work a very flexible part-time job. I have a lot of availability and can be very flexible. Working with animals is more than a job to me, I very much enjoy it. I will find ways to work with you and your pets personal needs. I will travel to your home so your pet can be where they are most comfortable. I work around you and your pets comfort. About: I currently own two dogs a mini Australian Shepard and a cocker spaniel. But, my family is a huge dog loving family and I have also owned labs, retrievers, and collies. I have a fenced backyard with a doggy door that holds about an acre of land and I live on a very quiet road with hiking trails across from my house that I bring my dogs into all the time! I’m work 3 times a week at Ridgewood Country Club in Danbury. I can leave during my breaks to tend to your pets. If they are staying at my home I have a doggy door and fenced in backyard. And then the remainder of the week I am free! I have a doggy door inside my home with a fenced in backyard for the 3 days I can’t be at home all day long. All other days I would love to take the dogs hiking and make sure they have a great time! I do own two dogs that are very friendly. But they can also be seperated into my basement if other dog is not friends with them. I also have a lot of experience with cat sitting my neighbors cats.

About: I have taken care of cats/dogs throughout my entire life. Between families, neighbors, and friends, I've always had a positive, happy experience with animals and great feedback! I've worked as a dog walker for 9 months now and loved every minute of it! Currently I am free Monday-Sunday, any hours! I am committed to getting at least an hour of outside time every day, which works out great for the pups! My puppy is fenced in and I can easily put him in his crate without worries. I am good with leash control, when needed for walks.

About: Ever since I was young, I have had a strong love for animals, especially dogs. I grew up surrounded by dogs and currently have two of my own. Over the years, I have pet-sat for neighbors and friends, and I always enjoy caring for and spending time with their pets. At college I am part of a club where we work with and volunteer at the local animal shelters. There are photos on my profile that highlight some of the events on campus I have volunteered at to raise money for the puppies at the local animal shelter. I do also have experience with horses.
