About: Our family has had cats for years, and we have fostered many, many more. I have a deep love and understanding of cats, and know that they are commonly mislabeled as mean or aggressive. About: I do love dogs but. I am a cat person. I travel for work so I haven't gotten another since my last three years ago. My best friend told me she still can't believe I haven't because "Jill" and "cats" are like "peanut butter and jelly" in her head. I got my last two cats, a brother and sister, as kittens in high school and loved them so hard for 12 and 15 years. Max had three urinary blockages and after the last, he just couldn't bounce back. And Jinx had kidney disease that progressed to failure. So I have some experience with prescription food and medications as well as giving subcutaneous fluids. Definitely wasn't my favorite but I would have done anything for my kitties and would do the same for another's.

And a lot of years I've had a cat named Luna I adopted and had her for 12 years, and another cat I fostered and fell in love with and I kept her. Cats are beautiful,b lovable and just as much fun as dogs. They too become your family. Our house is set back from the road on 100+ acres of conservation land where we can hike and explore with your dog. Our house is roomy and comfortable, and we strive to provide whatever your dog needs. We also value enrichment for pets - we hope your dog will learn, grow, and be stimulated while with us. We also live right next door to my father, who is a veterinarian and available for any questions we might have. We have a new addition to our family and welcomed in a baby boy in June 2025. Since then, we are accepting new clients with smaller dogs and sometimes larger dogs if they are older or laid back. We do have a soft spot for our older guests and love to keep them comfortable and pampered. We live in a one story house, so there are minimal steps. We try to mimic your own schedule at home. About: I'm currently volunteering at Whiskers Cat Rescue cleaning cages and socializing cats. I am comfortable administering medications to cats. I have owned a small dog in the past. My current cats are a wobbly boy with Cerebellar Hypoplasia and a super senior (21yrs!) old lady cat. My schedule is really flexible right now. There's a very large unfenced grass area behind my apartment building that would be perfect for walks or for play. And there are multiple parks in the area too. At yours, it depends what you need. We could take walks, throw the ball or just sit and chill and scratch butts. Their butts of course!
About: I have always had a dog, cat or parrot in my life. My experience is not only with my own pets but with family, friends and neighbors' beloved ones as well. I trained parrots in NYC for many years and have years of experience training dogs. I am available most weekdays and weekends as needed. My schedule is very flexible and can't imagine a better way to spend my time than taking care of your beloved pet. I love animals more than anything. So much so that I am a vegetarian out of respect for all living beings. I will walk, pet, play with any animal large or small and am very compassionate and intuitive to the needs of dogs, cats, and parrots.

About: I grew up with dogs and cats. So caring for pets has always been a natural part of my life. I believe they truly are your family. I've cared for dogs and cats for friends and more recently focusef on pet sitting in the home for their owners while they are way. I'm semi retired which gives me more flexibility to care for your sweet loved one. I'm currently working part time which gives me more flexibility to walk the dog during the day and or evening and avail on weekends as well as pet sitting for long trips. If it's a medium just small dog I can take care of your pet at my home It's a condo but we have plenty of yard to walk it and walk around the neighborhood. Although has to be on a lease.
