“Saori took fantastic care of our large doodle Toby for two weeks while we were traveling. We received daily updates with pictures and videos, which was really great. Toby had so much fun and will be going back next time we travel. I highly recommend Saori to anyone who needs a skilled and kind person to care of their pet.”

“I was caught in a bind as I was moving and my current place had to cancel due to the weather. This is my first time using Rover and I needed to find someone to watch my pup. River is a bit reserved and can be very nervous. Pam is a life saver. She sent pictures throughout her visit and I was completely at ease during a very stressful move. I will definitely recommend Pam and will reach out to her again whenever I need a sitter for my girl. Thanks a million. You are the best!!!”

“Our dogs had a wonderful stay with Jessica and Ian. They were well cared for and we will definitely use them in the future when we have to board our dogs.”

“Annette is wonderful with my old girl Kota , and I have also seen how well she treats all her furry guests , Kota gets a toy and treats when she comes home , i do not have the anxiety I use to when we went on a trip ,,, highly recommended ,, Jane”
“Rich was very communicative throughout the entire process. Shared lots of photos and videos of our two dogs who always seemed to be having fun playing with all the other dogs. This was our first time boarding with him and will definitely return the next time we need boarding.”

“Jillian was the best, so patient and great with Bella. I ended up running late to pick her up and got caught in a thunderstorm. Bella is terrified by thunder, but Jillian was chill and stuck with her. Wouldn’t hesitate to ask Jillian to watch Bella again!”

“Nicole is fantastic! We were nervous about boarding my dog at someone else’s house for the first time and she was reassuring, patient, and attentive to all of Jack’s needs. Great with medication administration and provided daily photos and updates on how Jack was doing. Certainly gave us peace of mind on our trip. We will definitely be using Nicole for our next trip and would recommend her to anyone!”

“Nothing more to say but “Amazing!!!” Erika is so communicative and she sends updates via photos! Love her and my dog, Tofu, also loved staying with her and Nugget! Thank you so much, Erika!”

“Ryan EXCEEDED my expectations! He has an intuitive way with dogs. He is very knowledgable about dogs & dog behavior. Ryan is the real deal-- a true animal lover & kind, decent human being. He communicated well with pics and updates during my dog's visit. During our initial meeting I felt an instant rapport he had with my dog that put me at ease. His home is VERY dog-centric! The visiting dogs are not confined and are free to mingle and find their own place to relax. There are ample dog beds, couches, human beds and floor space for lounging and sleeping. I especially appreciate that Ryan limits the number of dogs he boards at one time to a very small group, & makes sure they vibe well together beforehand. The living space Ryan and his boarders occupy is all on one level, which is great for my dog with arthritis. There is a wooded trail for walks adjoining the yard, and a guest bedroom if a dog needs some quiet alone time. I would HIGHLY recommend Ryan and I plan to use him again!”

“We had a great experience with Kate! Our dog, Sampson, stayed in her home and was very well cared for. Communication was easy and consistent, and we felt completely comfortable knowing our pup was in good hands. Sampson is pretty easygoing, but it was clear he was treated with attention and kindness. We will definitely book with them again.”

“We had such a great experience with Jennifer who care of our dog, Daisy, for almost a week. Jennifer was very communicative throughout the week - keeping us updated throughout our trip with thoughtful messages and plenty of photos showing Daisy relaxed, happy, and clearly enjoying her time with Jennifer and her family. It gave us real peace of mind knowing Daisy was in such caring and capable hands. We wouldn’t hesitate to book with Jennifer again—highly recommended!”

“Another great visit with Lily and her family! She continues to take great care of our senior pup, making him feel like part of the family and meeting him at his level. So communicative and helpful!”

“First time using Rachel C’s services and could not be more pleased. Rachel was helpful on the drop off and pick of our lab and she communicates everyday with great updates. Our lab Milo made some friends and seemed to really enjoy his time visiting at Rachel’s. Strong recommendation for your furry friends.”

“Laura and her family took great care of my 3 yo beagle mix. He’s got an autoimmune disorder with extreme food sensitivity and takes meds 3x daily. They were attentive to his needs, sent photos everyday, were super responsive and patient, and allowed me to show them how to administer the medicine. Both of us felt right at home, lol! We’ll be back thank you so much!!”

“Emily is sweet and loving. She clearly loves animals and our two pups love her. Emily is dependable and prompt and quickly responds. We are planning to have her back on regular schedule.”

About: I do love dogs but. I am a cat person. I travel for work so I haven't gotten another since my last three years ago. My best friend told me she still can't believe I haven't because "Jill" and "cats" are like "peanut butter and jelly" in her head. I got my last two cats, a brother and sister, as kittens in high school and loved them so hard for 12 and 15 years. Max had three urinary blockages and after the last, he just couldn't bounce back. And Jinx had kidney disease that progressed to failure. So I have some experience with prescription food and medications as well as giving subcutaneous fluids. Definitely wasn't my favorite but I would have done anything for my kitties and would do the same for another's.

“Aliya provided sweet, loving and responsible care for my cat and home. She is a very kind animal lover and person with a great attention to detail. Would highly recommend her services.”

About: I have had cats my entire life and have cared for my friends cats as well. I have given my cats medicine before, I am good at cleaning the litter box and I give good pets.

About: I’ve always loved spending time with cats and understand that each one has their own unique personality. I’ve had two cats of my own, so I’m experienced with daily care, including feeding, cleaning litter boxes, grooming, and cleaning up the occasional hairball. I enjoy playing with cats, giving them attention at their own pace, and making sure they feel comfortable and safe. Whether your cat is outgoing and playful or shy and independent, I’m happy to adapt to their temperament and provide patient, loving care.

“Jamie was great with my dogs and helped me out when I was stuck working a double at work. She is very sweet with my dogs and went above and beyond what I asked her to do! I will definitely be asking her back again!!!”

“Isabelle is so sweet and she was great with our boy Boone! We didnt have enough time for her to meet Boone prior to booking so our boy was nervous when she first got there, but she made sure to give him his space and time to warm up to her. It paid off because they spent the evening on the couch together 😊 She followed the schedule we provided and she sent photo and picture updates throughout their time together, which was great. Boone made a new friend so we’ll be sure to book Isabelle again!”

About: I've had cats my entire life and I always plan to. One of the best parts of my daily life is coming home to, waking up to and going to sleep with them. “We are so grateful for the incredible care our cats received. Even during the recent snowstorm, she trudged through the snow to make sure our home was reached and our kitties were well taken care of. She is reliable, thoughtful, and clearly loves what she does, and the photo updates always gave us such peace of mind. Truly fantastic and highly recommended.”

About: I’ve always loved animals and grew up with 3 dogs and 5 cats. I’ve also owned a dog and currently help care for my aunt’s diabetic cat, including giving him insulin twice a day. About: 4 years of experience working at a veterinarian office and lifetime pet owner with no current pets. Let me care for your pet like I cared for mine. Work from home, single adult with no children or pets(yet🤣) able to walk local with lots of parks and trails if longer walks are desired. Two level condominium so stairs are required unless smaller and I can pick up to go out, able to give medications, baths, nails and lots and lots of love.

“Isabelle was great with Jimmy! We just moved to the area and she was able to watch our dog for the day and she was great about sending updates and letting us know how he was doing.”

“Loretta kindly accepted a last minute booking for my two dogs. They showed none of their usual anxiety when I leave, and were calm and happy as clams when I picked them up. This is definitely a place where dogs feel welcome and at ease. I will not hesitate to call Loretta again.”

About: Dogs thrive on calm structure and that’s exactly what I provide. I create a controlled, low stress environment where dogs are calm, well managed, and set up for success. I’m a sitter with formal training in dog behavior, and I’m currently continuing my education through an accredited, science based training program. My approach goes beyond basic pet sitting, I focus on structure, clear boundaries, and reading behavior to prevent issues before they start. I specialize in dogs that need structure and guidance, whether that’s anxious dogs, easily overstimulated dogs, or dogs adjusting to a new environment. My focus is helping dogs stay calm, regulated, and comfortable, not just physically tired. Every dog is handled intentionally and with clear structure, not as part of a chaotic group setting. Pet care is my full-time work, so your dog’s routine becomes part of my routine. Meals, walks, rest, enrichment, and any training cues you already use are followed as consistently as possible. I keep things structured and predictable so dogs, especially anxious, reactive, or easily overstimulated ones, can settle in and feel secure. My home is structured, supervised, and calm, not a chaotic group setup or a free for all. Dogs are introduced thoughtfully, given clear boundaries, and supported with a predictable routine so they feel safe and secure. I tailor the environment to each dog, including decompression time, quiet space, and supervised social time only when appropriate. My focus is always on behavior, safety, and preventing overstimulation or unsafe situations. My approach is best suited for dogs who can follow structure and benefit from a calm, well-managed environment. I am not a good fit for dogs that rely on constant high energy group play or a completely unstructured routine.
“Highly recommend! My baby was well taken care of! Tinaclem was super friendly. When we arrived she introduced her dog with mine and brought them both to the back yard so she can get familiar with the yard and was very welcoming! Many walks and lots of pics for updates! ❤️My baby was pooped for days! She already misses Elvis! Sweet dog she has!”

“Rachel was amazing with our deaf pup, Hazel! She was so communicative and made us feel comfortable. Hazel had a wonderful time at daycare! Would recommend Rachel to everyone!”

About: I am an animal lover here to help! I grew up with animals, and have 3 dogs and 2 cats of my own. I also owned ducks and chickens for several the years. I have many years experience with a variety of medical issues pertaining to dogs and cats, including allergies and epilepsy. I also have years of experience in dog and puppy training (not professionally), including adopting my own puppy 2 years ago. That same puppy is now approved and undergoing training to be a psychiatric service dog. My other 2 dogs are also well trained. Although we’re happy to take it easy, we also love to hike and would be happy to take your dog along! I work with animals full time and love it! My schedule changes based on the needs of my clients for that week, and I adjust as needed. My pets are my babies! I have a fenced in yard, with a dog door to access it. It does close, and can be kept closed during the day if needed as my dogs are extremely well trained, and also have the option to access to my home office (a separate building in the back yard) if needed. They have full range and free access to the downstairs, except we discourage them being in the kitchen. Our dogs are kept from the upstairs by a secured baby gate. They are allowed up there, just usually attended because the puppy sometimes confuses her human sisters toys for her own! We have a large property with a trail that we take our dogs up to, and also live very close to several hiking trails that we frequent. One of our dogs had to retire from long walks and hikes, so he stays home now, but he still loves a good car ride and a short easy walk!
About: Ever since I was young, I have had a strong love for animals, especially dogs. I grew up surrounded by dogs and currently have two of my own. Over the years, I have pet-sat for neighbors and friends, and I always enjoy caring for and spending time with their pets. At college I am part of a club where we work with and volunteer at the local animal shelters. There are photos on my profile that highlight some of the events on campus I have volunteered at to raise money for the puppies at the local animal shelter. I do also have experience with horses. My experience has strengthened my passion for working with animals and reinforced my commitment to providing them with attentive, compassionate care. I currently have a lot of availability to be able to take care of your pets. I can board and attend to your pets any day of the week. I have a fenced-in backyard and two dogs of my own as well. I have a 10-month-old male English Bulldog and a 3-year-old female French Bulldog. They are both very friendly and love playing with other dogs. At your residence, I will respect any boundaries you may have and provide the best service I can.
“I have been taking my two dogs to Stephen for daycare every week for a few months now and I am very happy with the care he provides to my pups. He is very reliable, attentive and kind. My dogs love him and feel very comfortable in his house. I feel very lucky to have found him.”

About: Hello! I’ve worked in many animal related industries including boarding and LLivestock management. This has given me ample experience in care and a nuanced understanding of animal emotion and signals. I provide attentive care and seek to accommodate the individual needs of all animals in my care. They will be well-watched and cared for! I work from home with my sweet dog Rae. We take frequent potty breaks and time to chase sticks and toys. Dog care is built into my schedule, which is flexible to accommodate any needs your dog might have. Our large yard is not fenced but we keep an avid eye on all dogs at play. If desired, we have a tracker collar that gives us live updates of their location to ensure extra precautions. If your dog loves to run and play they will have play of space to do so! Rae is a great play companion but also gives other dogs space if they would like.
“Dew goes above and beyond for my puppy. Checks in regularly when he is in her care and even checks in when he is at home. As a first time user of a dog-sitter, I was anxious about leaving my puppy in someone else’s care. Dew almost immediately alleviated my concerns. I feel like her care has been a major benefit for me and for my puppy’s social development. Will continue to take advantage of Dew’s services for the foreseeable future. Highly recommended!”

About: I’ve had dogs since I can remember! Currently an owner of a frenchie and yellow lab! Always been a dog lover and would love to spend time with your pups too! “Rachael was able to help us out with very little notice. She was so sweet with my 2 pups and they loved her. They are older and really just want someone to sit with them and give them hugs. My chihuahua is sometimes a little grouchy & nervous. Rachael put them right at ease and handled them well on walks. We hope we can have her back again soon!”

About: Growing up, I had a Lab and then a Boxer and two cats. I've also helped my aunt at the doggie daycare she runs out of her home where she often has more than 10 dogs at a time. Everything from a Great Pyrenees to German Shepherds to Doodles to Yorkies. And it's always so much fun! The care I'll give your pets will really depend on them and their needs. There's a very large unfenced grass area behind my apartment building that would be perfect for walks or play. And there are multiple parks in the area too we could explore. At yours, I'd keep whatever their normal routine is. Whether that's taking walks, throwing the ball or just sitting and chilling and scratching butts. Their butts of course! About: I’ve had a family dog for almost all of my life, I also used to work at a doggie daycare and currently work at a vet hospital. I’ve taken care of dogs for multiple friends!! I love dogs of all breeds and size, but I choose to watch one at a time so I can give all my attention to your fur baby! I work part time so I can watch dogs Sunday, Wednesday, or Saturday! I can do boarding for most dogs as long as they come with sleeping arrangements. I have a huge backyard with a gated pool and a pretty big front yard as well. When taking care of other dogs I have a super long rope I tie them up to so they can run freely because we don’t have any fences.
About: I am a mom to three human children, three dogs, and three horses. When my kids were younger, my "me time" was spent volunteering for various rescues and shelters. I love taking care of animals and found so much satisfaction helping out those poor little creatures who had no home to call their own! I loved it so much that I decided to start my own 501c3 nonprofit animal rescue! I figured that in doing so, I could help on a way bigger scale! Additionally, I could put more efforts in to helping people through the love of animals in need! Making the adoption process easy and fun, and making sure the humans and the pets are a wonderful match have made my rescue quite successful! Over the past 11 years I have rescued thousands of dogs, hundreds of cats, and three horses from shelters and other high risk situations! Throughout my years of taking care of pets, I have care for basically every age, breed, size, and temperament! I have also provided care on just about every level...from administering meds, IV treatments, vaccines, basic grooming, and basic training/behavior modifications. I joined Rover because I want to continue helping animals and support pet owners who need someone they can truly trust. I understand how important it is to know your pet is safe, comfortable, and cared for like family while you’re away. Being able to provide that peace of mind is something I take seriously. Every pet has unique needs, routines, and personalities. My goal is to provide consistent, attentive care while maintaining the structure and comfort your pet is used to. I also prioritize clear communication so you always feel confident and informed while your pet is in my care. My schedule has a lot of flexibility, and I am a full-time caregiver for these sweet babies! I will always do my best to be available for you and your furry family members! Pets in my home have my full supervision, and when I am unable to have my eye on them, they are either crated or in their own safe space! Our yard is fully fenced!
About: I have experience caring for both dogs and cats and have worked in an animal hospital, where I gained hands-on experience safely handling pets, walking dogs, assisting with their care, and working with animals of different sizes, ages, and personalities. I've also cared for pets for friends, family, and neighbors over the years. Whether your pet needs feeding, fresh water, litter box cleaning, walks, playtime, or simply some extra love and attention, I'm happy to help. I'm dependable, patient, and detail-oriented, and I understand how important it is to follow your pet's routine exactly as instructed. I'll provide photo and text updates during every visit so you can enjoy your time away knowing your pet is safe, happy, and well cared for. I treat every pet as if they were my own. Pet care fits easily into my weekly routine, allowing me to provide dependable and consistent visits. Whether your pet needs a morning check-in, a midday visit, or evening care, I’ll do my best to accommodate your schedule. I understand how important routine is for pets, and I’m committed to providing reliable care and giving each visit the time and attention your pet deserves. I understand that trusting someone with your pet and your home is a big decision. During every visit, I’ll carefully follow your pet’s routine, make sure they have fresh food and water, provide walks or playtime as needed, clean litter boxes or pick up after your dog, and spend quality time with them so they feel comfortable while you’re away. I’ll also send photo and text updates after each visit so you always know how your pet is doing. I treat every home with respect and every pet with the same care and attention I give my own.
“Caroline has been an awesome dog walker and always takes great care of my dog Lolo! He always seems so happy when I come home at the end of the day. One time, she went out of her way to bring him some food after the walk session is finished when she noticed that my dog food ran out and she didn’t want him to starve. My baby is so lucky to have her! I’ll continue to trust her with my fur baby. Thank you so much :)”

About: With a lifelong passion for animals and decades of hands-on experience with personalized pet care, you can rest assured your pet is in great hands while you are away! I have been a show jumping horse trainer for most of my life, and caring for client’s pets while they were away just fell into place! From horses and dogs to a wide variety of different types of pets, I bring my knowledge, empathy, and commitment to every animal. After years of caring for many “regulars” in Santa Barbara, CA while their owners were away, I recently relocated to Roxbury, CT, where I offer high-quality, attentive care in a safe and serene environment. My property spans over three manicured acres, with more than one acre fully fenced and wired—complete with automatically closing gates—providing a secure, pet-friendly space for dogs to play, explore, and relax under supervision. Whether providing in-home pet care, or hosting animals on my property, I treat every pet as if they were my own—with love, patience, and respect. I look forward to meeting new pets and their owners here in CT! I don’t accept pets from different families at the same time, and when I take on caring for your pet, that is my full time job. My dogs tend to like to run errands with me, when weather permits, so your pet is welcome to join, or they are all also welcome to hang inside my home while I am out. I am never gone for longer than 2 hours at a time, and I am yet to leave my dogs outside in the yard when away with all the wildlife around… I adjust to whatever your pet is most used to when they are in their own home. Fenced in and wire lined 1+ acre grass manicured yard and over two acres of manicured grass outside the fenced yard for those pups once they bond with me and will reliably come when called. Your dog can sleep on my bed or in one of the plush dog beds I have around my home. Each door has an alarm system that sounds when the door is opened, and cameras surrounding the property... I always have eyes even when I am out running errands.

“I've used Veronica at least a couple times at this point and she has been nothing less thank fantastic. She has been fantastic at communication, great at scheduling room, and took amazing care of my Mika! Definitely bwill contact her again and I would encourage anyone to do the same.”

“Valerie and her family are amazing hosts and extra loving caretakers. Jameson has his second extended stay with Valerie and he had a wonderful time. I take comfort in knowing he loves staying with Valerie, her children, and sweet Shakespeare when we are on vacation. They truly treat him like their own and he clearly loves them all. We will be back :)”
“Loretta was absolutely amazing! We went on a family vacation, and after Duke struggled with anxiety and had to be moved twice while in someone else's care, everything changed once he was with Loretta. She made him feel safe, comfortable, and loved from the moment he arrived. It was such a relief knowing he was in caring and capable hands. Loretta truly knows how to care for pets with patience, compassion, and genuine love. We couldn't have asked for a better sitter, and we'll definitely be using her again in the future. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone who will treat their pet like family!”
“The whole experience with Kyle was great ! We had never really left our dog before and right away Kyle put our minds at ease . From the meet and greet on through he made everything easy and comfortable. He is professional and kind and seemed to genuinely enjoy spending time with our dog . He kept us updated during our time away so we can enjoy ourselves and feel confident that our furry relative was being well taken care of . When I picked Kaya up she seemed happy and well adjusted .We can’t thank Kyle enough for taking excellent of our family member! ! We would book again ?”

“Another awesome experience with Elizabeth! Everything is so easy from drop off to pick up. Communication is quick and frequent, and pictures she sends throughout the stay are so thoughtful. Her report card and care package at the end show her total investment in our dog and her business”

“Stephen is a super care taker, for sure. Great and timely communications, friendly and very accommodating for a last minute request. Made the whole experience of looking after my Gracie seamless and easy.”

“First thing- Meghan was great! Finn states with her fior 4 nights and I couldn’t have asked for more out of a sitter. She communicated well with us during his stay and is overall a very kind, responsible sitter. I will (and I’m sure Finn) be looking forward to booking with her in the future!”
