I like to learn about their daily routine, such as feeding schedules, walk times, and bathroom habits, as well as any medications or health concerns. Understanding their personality, energy level, and how they typically behave around new people, other animals, or loud noises helps me make them feel comfortable and safe. Having all this information ahead of time allows me to keep things consistent and stress-free for both the pets and owners.
A typical day
With dogs, I enjoy taking them on walks in your neighborhood or a park/trail, playing fetch, and tug-of-war. For cats, I like using wand toys, laser pointers, or even just cuddling and petting them. I always make sure pets feel safe, loved, and entertained while you’re away!
