About: I do love dogs but. I am a cat person. I travel for work so I haven't gotten another since my last three years ago. My best friend told me she still can't believe I haven't because "Jill" and "cats" are like "peanut butter and jelly" in her head. I got my last two cats, a brother and sister, as kittens in high school and loved them so hard for 12 and 15 years. Max had three urinary blockages and after the last, he just couldn't bounce back. And Jinx had kidney disease that progressed to failure. So I have some experience with prescription food and medications as well as giving subcutaneous fluids. Definitely wasn't my favorite but I would have done anything for my kitties and would do the same for another's.

I follow all care instructions closely, including feeding, walks, and playtime. I can also board at my home if needed, but I do have a friendly dog, so your pet must be dog-friendly.
About: I'm currently volunteering at Whiskers Cat Rescue cleaning cages and socializing cats. I am comfortable administering medications to cats. I have owned a small dog in the past. My current cats are a wobbly boy with Cerebellar Hypoplasia and a super senior (21yrs!) old lady cat. My schedule is really flexible right now. I'm not free a few times through the week and weekend but for no longer than a few hours. I'm very patient with animals, especially more skittish ones. You need to work with them even if it takes time to develop a relationship or trust.
About: I have had cats since I was a baby and had chow chow dogs since I was 13 years old. I also worked at a kennel off and on for 12.5 years. I learned a little training but not a lot. I have worked with all different breeds of dogs. I love snuggling with cats as I grew up with having them in my household. I currently work full time however, full time is 30 hours for me so it allows me to have 3 to 4 days off towards the end of the week depending on the week. We have a large back yard with a dog run and as far as my cat. He is an indoor cat and gets spoiled indoors.
About: I am a mom to three human children, three dogs, and three horses. When my kids were younger, my "me time" was spent volunteering for various rescues and shelters. I love taking care of animals and found so much satisfaction helping out those poor little creatures who had no home to call their own! I loved it so much that I decided to start my own 501c3 nonprofit animal rescue! I figured that in doing so, I could help on a way bigger scale! I have also provided care on just about every level...from administering meds, IV treatments, vaccines, basic grooming, and basic training/behavior modifications. I joined Rover because I want to continue helping animals and support pet owners who need someone they can truly trust. I understand how important it is to know your pet is safe, comfortable, and cared for like family while you’re away. Being able to provide that peace of mind is something I take seriously. Every pet has unique needs, routines, and personalities. My goal is to provide consistent, attentive care while maintaining the structure and comfort your pet is used to. I also prioritize clear communication so you always feel confident and informed while your pet is in my care. My schedule has a lot of flexibility, and I am a full-time caregiver for these sweet babies! I will always do my best to be available for you and your furry family members! Pets in my home have my full supervision, and when I am unable to have my eye on them, they are either crated or in their own safe space! Our yard is fully fenced!

I always have eyes even when I am out running errands.
