About: I grew up with as many as 5 cats and two dogs at a time. I am familiar with caring for most pets including rodents and fish. I work from home so taking a break to walk or feed pets is not an issue. There is even some extra time to give them some attention too! My dog has free roaming permission in the backyard and we also have a cage for large dogs available. For visiting dogs we walk them on a leash since they are not familiar with the area.
About: I've been taking care of dogs since I was 8 years old and got my very first dog. I love all types of dogs, I can even handle aggressive dogs with ease! I always love to spend my free time with animals. Any availability I have is used to to go towards my pets and hopefully yours! About: I’ve always had a close connection to animals since I was younger! I currently work at a dog daycare, handling anywhere from 40-60 dogs all in one group. I’ve been a dog daycare employee for the past five years and on top of that do pet sitting for the business as well. I currently work at a dog daycare, we’re only open during the week so I’m fully available on the weekends. I can still do pet sits, drop ins, etc. during the week, although there are some days I work from 7am-6pm, a morning shift for me would be 7-12 and afternoon 12-6. (The only way I would be able to bring your dog into daycare with me is if you signed them up for daycare and went through the interview process) or else I could bring them but they would be sitting in a crate the whole time:( When pet sitting a non daycare dog, if I’m working all day 7-6 I do get an hour lunch break at noon, where I then have the time to run back to the dog to let them out etc. When I stay at a clients house I make sure that before I leave for good everything looks exactly as it did before I got there. Depending on the age and abilities of the dog determines how our time is spent. If it’s an older or not very fit, energetic dog we may just relax in the house for the most part. For dogs with more energy that need to do something, we will do activities based on the clients/dogs preferences. As well as I am an active person and love going hiking on nice days, I’m happy to take dogs for hikes to get some exercise as long as the dog is fit to do so and the owner gives permission.

In fact, special is an understatement. Robin cared for my 2 rescue fur babies AND my home as if it were her own. She went out of her way to come by the house twice before we left for our trip in addition to stopping by when we returned to check in with us and say “farewell for now” to our dogs. Both of my dogs loved her AND her husband who is equally as compassionate and loving as Robin. One of my dogs is very nervous around people but he instantly fell in love with Robin. It was amazing to see how well both my dogs connected with her when we first met. It was even more amazing to see how excited they were when Robin came to visit after we arrived back home. I am so grateful for Robin staying at our house and being there for us when our flight was majorly delayed too. I can’t say enough good things about Robin and her position as a Rover.com sitter.
