About: My friends, family, and many others have given me opportunities to care for their puppies and dogs! The owners and dogs are always left very happy! I’m currently on summer break from my teaching job. My schedule is very open and flexible to whatever you may need! I love going for walks and hikes and would love a buddy to come with me. I do not have any other pets or children living in my home. My complex is very safe to walk in and I have an awesome hiking trail right next to my place!
“Darya has done a great job taking care of our corgi puppy! She is always on time and gives a thorough daily update for her drop-in visits. We have appreciated how she follows our detailed instructions and is very responsive. We would definitely recommend Darya!”

“Maylynn was so sweet but most of all I loved how my boys reacted to her. It let me know that she is a good person and that my cats were in good hands while I was away. She was on time for both drop in’s and even made sure to give them some playtime. I’ll definitely be using Maylynn again and recommend her to everyone.”

“Katie is absolutely amazing. We were having an incredibly stressful week and it was nice to know our dog was in great hands. Highly recommend, we’d love to have her watch Major again in the future.”

“Deb was great with my energetic pup! She was very communicative throughout the whole process and provided updates during drop-in visits. I would highly recommend her and will definitely a repeat customer in the future!”

“Priscilla was excellent in taking care of our three kittens while we were away. This was the second time we used her and will use again in the future! She is extremely caring and tried to do everything for them as instructed. Couldn’t have asked for a better Rover!”

About: I’ve cared for pets for family, friends, and neighbors, providing dependable and personalized care while they were at work, on vacation, or away from home. My experience includes drop-in visits, dog walks, potty breaks, feeding, refreshing water, playtime, administering basic care, and making sure pets feel safe and comfortable in their own environment. I understand that every pet has a unique personality and routine, so I always take the time to learn their needs and give them the attention, patience, and affection they deserve. My goal is to make every pet feel loved while giving owners peace of mind that they’re in caring and reliable hands. Pet sitting fits naturally into my schedule, allowing me to provide dependable and attentive care throughout the week. I’m available for drop-in visits, dog walks, potty breaks, and overnight care depending on your needs. I enjoy staying active and spending time with animals, so caring for pets is something I genuinely look forward to. I always make reliability a priority and communicate with owners to ensure their pets stay on their normal routine. Whether I’m caring for your pet in my home or yours, my priority is making them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I carefully follow each owner’s instructions regarding feeding schedules, walks, medications, playtime, and any special routines so pets experience as little disruption as possible. I provide plenty of attention, affection, exercise, and mental stimulation while maintaining a clean, secure environment. I also keep owners updated with regular messages and photos, so they can relax knowing their pet is happy and well cared for while they’re away.
About: I am a mom to three human children, three dogs, and three horses. When my kids were younger, my "me time" was spent volunteering for various rescues and shelters. I love taking care of animals and found so much satisfaction helping out those poor little creatures who had no home to call their own! I loved it so much that I decided to start my own 501c3 nonprofit animal rescue! I figured that in doing so, I could help on a way bigger scale! Additionally, I could put more efforts in to helping people through the love of animals in need! Making the adoption process easy and fun, and making sure the humans and the pets are a wonderful match have made my rescue quite successful! Over the past 11 years I have rescued thousands of dogs, hundreds of cats, and three horses from shelters and other high risk situations! Throughout my years of taking care of pets, I have care for basically every age, breed, size, and temperament! I have also provided care on just about every level...from administering meds, IV treatments, vaccines, basic grooming, and basic training/behavior modifications. I joined Rover because I want to continue helping animals and support pet owners who need someone they can truly trust. I understand how important it is to know your pet is safe, comfortable, and cared for like family while you’re away. Being able to provide that peace of mind is something I take seriously. Every pet has unique needs, routines, and personalities. My goal is to provide consistent, attentive care while maintaining the structure and comfort your pet is used to. I also prioritize clear communication so you always feel confident and informed while your pet is in my care. My schedule has a lot of flexibility, and I am a full-time caregiver for these sweet babies! I will always do my best to be available for you and your furry family members! Pets in my home have my full supervision, and when I am unable to have my eye on them, they are either crated or in their own safe space! Our yard is fully fenced!
About: I combine patience, experience, and genuine affection for pets of all kinds. Whether it’s an energetic pup, a gentle senior, or a shy cat, I adapt to meet their needs and make them feel at home. Taking care of pets is part of my regular routine. I like to get outside and stay active by walking and running dogs, and I make sure to spend quality time giving pets the attention and love they deserve. It’s something I enjoy and look forward to fitting into my days. I prioritize safety and comfort above all when caring for pets. Whether I’m visiting your home or welcoming pets into mine, I will make sure the environment is clean, secure, and pet-friendly. I will also follow any specific instructions you provide and keep a close eye on your pet’s behavior to ensure they’re happy and safe at all times. Building trust with both pets and owners is important to me, so I communicate openly and am responsive to any needs or concerns.
About: "I have a deep love for animals and years of experience caring for pets. Family and friends have always trusted me to watch, feed, walk, and love their dogs. I specialize in providing a calm, structured, and incredibly safe environment for small and medium adult dogs. Your pup will receive constant attention, plenty of playtime, and treated just like family while staying with me." "I currently work part-time, which gives me a very steady routine and plenty of open flexibility to be home with your dog. I am always mindful of my time management to ensure your pet gets consistent supervision, frequent potty breaks, and lots of individual attention. I have plenty of dedicated time to play, go for walks, and make sure your pup feels completely safe, happy, and pampered while you are away." Safety is my highest priority when caring for your pet. My home is a clean, calm, and smoke-free environment with plenty of open space for small and medium dogs to feel entirely at ease. I maintain a secure setup to ensure no escapes, provide constant direct supervision, and strictly follow any specific care, feeding, or routine instructions you provide to keep your pup happy and safe."
“Sara is amazing. She followed my instructions and she kept in touch with me on how our old lady was doing. She used good judgment with regard to the poor air quality and heat by limiting the time our dog was out. She paid attention to our dog as well. I desperately wish she lived closer to us and am so thankful that she was able to come to our home. I highly recommend her and believe anyone who gets to have her take care of their pets is very lucky. She also has excellent work ethics.”
“Overall, I would rate Lindsay as a good pet-sitter. Prior to our vacation, she was very timely in responding to my messages and she also modified the Rover.com charges to a very reasonable rate for her visits with our 2 cats. It was while we were gone that I felt she fell short. My first issue was with her inconsistency in providing updates on the visits - there was a photo and thorough recap on the 1st day, but on subsequent days there was less detail and on one day there was no update at all. My second issue was with the timing of her visits. I had made it very clear that it was important to check in during the early afternoon, but at least twice she didn't visit until the evening. My third issue was with attention to detail - I had left very specific notes about the cats' food/water/litter and it didn't seem that she had followed them. Lastly, my greatest concern was with the well-being of our female cat and her being bullied by the male cat in our absence. We came back to find that she had a facial injury and had urinated in a chair out of fear. All-in-all our pets were reasonably cared for, but I was definitely disappointed. Lindsay is a very nice girl and I'm sure she had the best intentions. I think the issues may have been due to lack of experience or perhaps I wasn't clear enough on stressing the importance of certain things. (To those reading this review, please note that I have very high expectations for the care of my pets and I think Lindsay is absolutely capable of meeting the needs of a less demanding client.)”

About: I’ve spent several summers caring for both cats and dogs as well as having them in my house growing up! I absolutely love giving them the attention they deserve, whether that’s playtime, walks, or cuddle time. As a 20 year old college student, I bring lots of energy, patience, and genuine love for animals. I enjoy making pets feel safe, happy, and cared for like they’re part of my own family I currently am a college student with mostly early morning classes, so I am up pretty early. I also am a soccer coach for Wilmington hammer heads which is about 2 hours Monday, Wednesday, Thursday nights. Other than that I am extremely flexible and am never busy for long periods of time! “Sydney was excellent! She took great care of our cat while we were away. She sent lots of pictures and communication was on point. Not once were we worried about the care provided, Sydney went above and beyond. We will be rebooking with her next time we are out of town.”
“Natasha had come for the pre visit with Sadie and seemed like a great fit with her. Sadie is a youthful, large, strong dog, and Natasha seemed to get along great with everyone. The visit seemed to go great, no surprises, even though Natasha went above and beyond.”

Steph was soo amazing and such a sweetheart with my dogs. My Bella is weary of people but warmed up to Steph extremely fast. Her updates and photos of our dogs during her visits made it all the more heartwarming and comforting knowing they’re in good hands. Definitely highly recommend and will be coming back when needed. Thank you again for being so wonderful! 🤍💕

Katie is absolutely amazing! She went above and beyond in caring for my dog. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
